She was amazing! She made wonderful tractor cookies for my sons birthday and an amazing cookie dough cake for my husbands birthday!

These ladies do an amazing job. So impressed! Their cookies are so yummy and so cute! I have a friend getting married and we had them at her bridal shower and we also did a fun cookie decorating class where they came to us, set everything up and it was so much fun ! I highly recommend this place for any of your cookie needs or to take a cookie decorating class!!! The fun cookies are the ones I personally decorated(which i have never done it before this time!) Absolutely awful. The cookies I ordered were over 2 hours late from the agreed upon pick up time. When I finally received them I was actually shocked at how terrible they were. They honestly looked like they hired a child to do the job. On top of that, I had asked for a certain quote to be on some of the cookies.... they said "we can do that, no problem!" But when the cookies were delivered... they were no where in sight. Please please please do your research and don't order from here!!! After showing my friends and family I couldn't tell you the amount of times I was told "I haven't heard good things about them". I was so embarrassed to show up with these in hand!! read more

I was so looking forward to trying these gals out, as the cookies on their website and FB page are absolutely gorgeous! Today was their grand opening, which in itself was kind of shocking, as well as disappointing. Why would you have a selection of only 4 flavors of cupcakes at your big grand opening?? There were offerings of a few of the gorgeous cookies, as well, but our choices were severely limited! We had Red Velvet, Lemon, Vanilla, and perhaps a peanut butter cupcake choice. I tried all but the peanut butter, and was very disappointed. The flavoring of each was bland at best, and nonexistent for the most part. They were cute, but I need flavor, too! I honestly couldn't tell the difference from one to the other...other than a floury taste. The frostings, by far my favorite part, were lard/crisco type buttercreams with very little flavor. They were very oily, leaving a coating in my mouth. The cupcakes were also quite dense...I am so disappointed! I had 2 cookies-one with royal icing, one with buttercream, and again, they were stunning to look at, but again, flavorless. I had such high hopes, and am truly bummed. We also asked for a menu, or schedule, or anything saying what other products they have, but they said they weren't ready! Hello, grand opening on a gorgeous Saturday in the busy downtown foot traffic area?? Make your own! I would have been fine with that, as I know things happen sometimes. However, a complete lack of professionalism accompanied that announcement. No suggestion that I look at their website or fb. Unfortunately, I don't see these sisters lasting long...certainly not at the high rent location-actually a perfect spot to succeed...if the product was there. I will certainly try them one more time, in a few weeks when they've had time to work out kinks, and I sincerely hope my review today will need to change. I ordered my daughters first birthday cake and custom cookies more then a month before her party. Just before midnight the day of the party she emailed me stating she couldn't complete my order because she was in the ER. I get it life happens....but midnight the evening before the party hmm. I had already prepaid for these, she stated she would give me a refund and it would take 2-3 days for it to process. A week goes by and still no refund. So I contacted her & she stated she could see the refund on her end and I informed her it certainly was not refunded on my end. So she stated she would contact PayPal, fine. She stated the next day is it was refunded she would send me the money. Hmm fishy. I gave it another 5 days.... Nothing. So I contacted her again stating I still didn't get my refund. She assured me it was in "process", she again told me if it was processed within 2 days she would refund me..... here we are almost 3 weeks later, no refund. I saw she had wonderful reviews and great cookies, but boy did she disappoint. I wouldn't use/buy from Twisted Sisters Sweetz ever again. I get life does happen & emergencies come up. But refunds are normally instant or 2-3 days not 3 weeks. read more
