The service is great and the cookies and drinks are delicious! This is my favorite place to go for a mid work day pick-me-up!

And I'm happy to report that it exceeded my expectations! The slice of pie was HUGE (very tall) and it had some kind of a sauce/cheese combo on top of the tomatoes that was fantastic. Combined with the pie crust, it reminded me of a slice of Chicago deep dish pizza! My husband and I also shared the following: cinnamon rolls, salted caramel brownie and a white chocolate raspberry bread pudding muffin. All were huge, rich in flavor and very satisfying. I already can't wait to come back again! :)

Because if I need it and it's not there I'll come find you. :) The filling was the best filling I've ever had. The baked portion, too. And I grew up enjoying the bakeries of NYC and the area. What made it so good? It was not a disgustingly sweet, gelatinous blob. It had what I could only call a "natural" style filling. Not gelatinous. Not super sweet. One bite and you'll know that this is the way it's really supposed to be. It will ruin your enjoyment of all other blueberry danishes. Like I said, don't order one. :) Bon appétit.

Finally checked this place out on a Friday afternoon and it did not disappoint! We were greeted by…read morefriendly employees behind the counter who helped to explain their drink menu and desserts. Luckily, considering it was early afternoon, they still had a decent variety of desserts to select from. Their drink menu is very limited, but we chose the honeycomb latte, which was absolutely incredible! (Your dentist won't be thrilled by your choice, however, lol) We also tried their cake bowl of the day and a huge salted chocolate chip cookie, which was probably one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever tasted! The cake bowl was some sort of mixed berry, it was very tasty! There is some indoor seating, but not a lot, as well as a few tables outside when it cools off. The prices could be considered slightly high, but I felt that the quality made for a good value. So, if you're looking for a traditional coffee shop, this is not it. But if you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth in an upscale, trendy locale, you must stop in!

All made in house.. once they are gone, they are gone. The Banana Pudding was amazing. A huge container.. easily enough for 3-4 people. We also bought 4 Macarons .. all different flavors and they were delicious. Just know that they do not open until 11am.. we had a wait of about 15 min. Worth it. They are also closed on Sunday Monday's. It's very chic inside, they have a small seating area & of note they are about to open a Creamery right next door. That will be yum. I'm delighted to be able to support local and wish them all the very best. If I'm ever back in Summerville I'll definitely return to Swank.

The ice cream is smooth, real, and delicious. The shakes are awesome. We've even gotten ice cream shakes from the food truck at Fort Moultrie on Carolina Day, and it was perfect! Don't waste your time looking for a good ice cream shop...Bruster's is hands down our favorite in the area. The staff here is ALWAYS friendly and go above and beyond. The sitting area outside is clean and taken care of with accessible trash cans and napkins. Because we all know on hot summer days, the ice cream can melt quicker than we can eat them. Pricing is very reasonable, the rewards program has great deals from time to time, and you get a LOT of ice cream for what you pay. The small (two scoops) is what is shown in my photo attached. It's massive. Flavors we love and recommend: butter pecan, strawberry cheesecake, salted caramel, and mint chocolate. The ice cream connoisseur of the family (our youngest) proclaims that Bruster's chocolate ice cream is the best around...just the right amount of chocolate and "just perfect."

I ordered a scoop of cookie dough and strawberry shortcake ice cream on a waffle cone. My husband struggled a bit to find something GF that wasn't just vanilla or chocolate. The lady tried to help us but wasn't that confident in some suggestions she had off the top of her head and asked if he can have nuts... Anyway we finally got him a butter pecan and butterfinger. The ice cream was as good as we remembered it to be. Ice cream has gotten more expensive these days but it was a special treat for date night.
