Once again, I got a coupon for a free small Marble Slab creation for my birthday. This year's experience was a bit better than last year, as you can get unlimited mix-ins for your ice cream (you can do this any day, not just on your birthday) and you can also get a waffle cone for no upcharge if you want that (I didn't). I got the birthday cake ice cream with added cookie dough, fudge, and oreo cookies. It was delicious but super sweet. I'm honestly not a fan of the cold marble stone slab mixed ice cream, but they have really good milk shakes, and so I got the cookies n cream one to satisfy my sweet tooth. It came out really think and creamy, and luckily they give you an oversized straw, or I'd never be able to suck the contents through a regular one. A spoon would be useful if you don't feel like sucking your eyeballs in to your head. Once it melted down a bit, the milkshake was amazingly good, and I was able to finish the whole thing. Parking at this location is limited, so plan ahead and it's probably not a bad idea to walk a little bit anyway after eating here. Seating is limited too, so if you're more than a party of two, plan on stealing a chair from another table and getting dirty looks from those around you. read more

I went to this location for my birthday reward treat and received terrible service from the manager and her assistant. The young lady that made my cone was very pleasant; however. The manager was extremely rude and refused to honor my birthday reward despite me having my identification proving it was my literal birthday. She walked off without even offering a solution because she said my phone number didn't work, even though I have never registered one and this was never an issue before. The manager refused to look at my ID and walked away in the middle of the conversation and was rude during the entire exchange. The assistant manager not only refused to look at me while ringing me up she also refused to look at my ID and made excuses for the manager's rudeness. I ended up paying for the ice cream even though I shouldn't have because they'd already handed it to me. The cone completely fell apart almost as soon as I left so I'm assuming it was probably a stale cone. I will never return to this establishment again and I would not advise anyone else to either. The service is poor and the quality of food leaves much to be desired. A little kindness could've gone a long way, especially on someone's birthday. Maybe they were having a bad day but if that's their everyday attitude, I feel sorry for their employees because if that's how they treat customers, I know they're worse to the employees. They are hiring, so it was obvious that they are short-staffed. Bathroom (unisex) was in poor order. I honestly would have walked out due to the lack of cleanliness, but this was a family outing and they didn't see the bathroom (thank goodness!). It was really more of a deep cleaning issue. They hit the major points, but I was still not happy about it. There was only one person working in the entire establishment, which is really unacceptable IMO. The restaurant was clean and the food areas were maintained nicely. There was also an "A" rating because I checked the door! We all got the regular size, but that was huge. Toppings are included in the price so feel free to indulge. We got bowls and cones, and tried sweet cream, mango, amaretto, and butter pecan. Found the place! Grabbed a sundae for just under $7.00 loaded with tons of toppings. The place is similar to cold stone, you can mix any type of ice cream you desire out of their base flavors. Plethora of toppings are available, all types of candy, sauces and such. The portion size is average, don't expect the massive sundae boat you can score at Ye Ole Fashion ice cream shop (even though your paying just as much). With that said the place was a lot less chaotic, only one other customer in there. A/c works fantastically and the joint is super clean. Small outdoor seating area and a number of seating options inside. They also offer cakes and such, plus you get a free waffle cone for some order, which I would have done if o hadn't opted for the sundae. All in all good ice cream for a price that is comparable to a Coldstone or Baskin Robbins. It isn't the neighborhood mainstay that Ye Ole Fashion is, but I'm not disappointed to have them around the corner at all. read more
