Had a great time! We enjoyed the concession stand and our kids loved the extra activities.

Boo. Yes. Well,…read morethat about sums it up because the first rule about Nightmare Manor is that you don't talk about Nightmare Manor. The second rule is "see rule number one". I'll do it like this: Is it scary? If that's what you like and you get scared, then yes. It is. If you're not easily scared and you like haunted houses for what they are, you will have a great time. Is the decor good? it is fantastic. Are the people good? Absolutely. They do a phenomenal job. Make up and costumes are great. How cool of a job would that be?!?!? Is it worth the money? Absolutely. If I remember correctly, it does take 15 to 20 minutes to get through it. They do space people out so you're not shoved up against, or being shoved by, a bunch of strangers. Would I go back? Totally. This is great fun every year. I'd suggest getting there early though. The line, although it moves steady, can get long and the wait can be quite long. Can't tell you how long because we always try to get there as early as possible. I would not say that this is exactly an "accessible" place for wheelchairs, scooters, etc. I could be wrong, but I know there would be some challenging areas for those types of accessibility aides.

This House is awesome! The decorations are of high quality and realistic. There are more rooms…read morethan I can count and they are all well themed. The actors are really good and costumes are amazing. There is an outdoor trail portion that adds a lot to the overall appeal. I would highly recommend!

To start, there are multiple activities to choose from which is nice. I will only be commenting on the two that we did; the Forgotten Forest walk and the Hayride. Parking is $3, which my husband said he knew about beforehand so he actually had cash ready. There was plenty of parking and we didn't have to walk too far to get to the entrance. Once inside, there is a line for tickets but if you purchase them online they are cheaper and you don't have to wait in line before you go wait in line again. We were SO happy to see a beer trailer as I had already had my fill of children for the day and my filter needed lubricating. While we waited for our friends to arrive we grabbed a beer (they take credit) and stood by the fire. When they arrived we got in line for the forgotten forest. We needed more than one beer for the almost 2 hours we waited in line. The ticket lady said the night before it was 3.5 hours!!!! Yikes! We went in and they made me go first. A waste because I don't get scared lol. I like the elevator effect at the beginning but when we got off it took my eyes a minute to adjust and I fell on the walkway. And continued to fall for a huge amount of time as I could not get my footing. But alas, I remained uptight in the end and nothing was broken! There really wasn't anything scary and I was very disappointed. I figured it would at least be fun for the kids but the 11-year-olds said it was boring so there's that. I would not do this one again. Next we went to the hayride. The line went MUCH faster and it only took about 20 minutes to get through three lanes. There was an actor walking up and down the line and was great about people taking photos with him. The hayride was SO much more fun than the forest. I won't ruin it with details but I would go back and do it again. We bought our photo and went on our way as the park was closing. There are porta potties if you need but I generally try to stay away from those as a rule.

We waited our turn but it didn't appear that anyone was going through. We waited about 30 minutes until a young girl started collecting tickets. A woman with her (approx) 9 year old daughter were ahead of us but only had 1 ticket. The woman stated she was only given one ticket for the two of them and was instructed to leave the line and purchase another ticket. The woman did and returned shortly. After another 15 minute wait, we finally entered. I won't give away the scares, however, I was a bit surprised at how often the characters touch you. I was also surprised at how often the F-bomb was dropped by the characters. The 9 year old girl ahead of us was frightened of course and the characters were swarming on her telling her they didn't "f-ing care" that she was scared. Another part of the maze leads you into an area that depicted graphic full frontal nudity of a fake female body as well as a character licking it's breasts. Another room depicted a funeral, however, the special effects failed and we were then just lead out of the room. At the end, as you are walking out, a large group of characters again swarmed the 9 year old (to the point my wife even though it was a bit much) and would not let her pass. Before we left, a character grabbed my hair and I was left with a sticky mass of hair in my head for the rest of the evening. All in all, it was so-so in terms of scariness. It took a while to get through but many of the characters just circled around and you experienced the same characters over and over. I felt it was a bit pricy and it isn't something I'd take my kids to due to the language and hand on experience.
