The main cafe in Lincoln from what I can tell is a neat place called Twisted Tree, serving all manner of coffees, teas, smoothies, and pastries. It's a nice interior with a sitting area toward the left of the counter, and a few tables to the right near the entrance and where you pick up your order. They have some sweet looking special latte flavors, like the candy corn latte and butterscotch one. I've tended toward the wonderful maple cinnamon of course, including with vanilla cold foam as well. The interior has interesting and fun decorations, making it inviting to stay. The drinks taste great which I'm sure is partially due to that their coffee is from the excellent Snowy Owl coffee roaster in Brewster, MA, one of my favorite suppliers.

A super cute cafe in a sweet little town. They have a great menu full of delicious food choices (there are definitely vegetarian and gluten free options!) and fun drink specials. A nice seating area indoors and a few extra tables outside. There's a little selection of books for kids as well! The only downside is that the earl grey frappe I ordered (which sounded amazing) couldn't be made with the dairy alternative I asked for. I got an iced pistachio latte instead, which was amazing! Good strong espresso and the perfect amount of pistachio syrup. I also got a Greek protein bowl, which was delicious. If you're nearby, make it a point to stop in, you will not be disappointed.

Stopped in on a whim for a Mother's Day lunch while passing through town. Cute eatery with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was very friendly and attentive, despite it being super busy. The food was excellent. Chicken Caesar wraps are fairly common and Twisted Tree Cafe created a unique flavor with cucumber and breadcrumbs. Well done! If you get a chance, give this place a try!

    BLTT (with added avocado)

Twisted tree has some of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted. Not sure if it's the sauce, the bread, the preparation, or everything together-- they consistently deliver stellar results each time I visit. I used to love their Turkey BLT but having discontinued the item, I was concerned that would be the end of my Twisted Tree obsession. But no, each one of their sandwiches posses that indescribable flavor that pulls everything together. An excellent addition to the Lincoln downtown, and I hope they're here to stay.

I've been here a couple times, both to sit outside with my dog (no dogs inside) and to grab a quick breakfast to go. Each time the food and the coffee has been delicious. My go to breakfast sandwich has been The Cado paired with a cold brew or some other coffee drink. Their cold brew is very good! Service even when busy like today around lunchtime is great. Staff is friendly and the seating inside is spacious and there's even a small couch in the back. Great place to grab a bite on your own or with a friend to catch up over coffee.

    Iced Sugar-Free Vanilla Oat Latte

Hands down one of the, if not THE best iced sugar-free vanilla oat milk lattes I've ever had. I carried it throughout my walk around the museum and it was so worth it... definitely woke me up, good strong coffee, not too sweet, and waaay better than the Starbucks sugar free vanilla lattes I've had. Perfectly ratio of ice to coffee as well. Staff were SUPER friendly, pastries looked DELICIOUS (ugh SO hard to resist when you're a pastry lovin' foodie) but I already ate breakfast. Bathrooms were also super clean (there were only 2 though I think so the line was LONG and I got here at opening time 10am and they were still long). Store was also nice and bright, however the prices were high for basic foods like sandwiches (I understand it is a museum store). The coffee was delicious though!

I've switched up the ham to their bacon which is delicious! Thick cut, crispy and tons of it! I also recommend getting an extra side of hollandaise because it's THAT good! I had the chance to dine-in and the inside is decorated nicely and I love the light coming from all the large windows. I wish there were more booth seating available, the hard wooden chairs are not that comfy. - Small waiting area in front and outdoors - outdoor seating when it's nice out - online ordering avail for easy pickup and delivery (by 3rd party) - share parking lot but usually pretty full, overflow in Whole Foods lot avail - you can now reserve tables! The place itself was clean, neat, and not very large. We ordered the regular eggs Benedict (around $21) and the chicken and waffle eggs Benedict (around $30). Between the two, I definitely preferred the chicken and waffle Benedict. It was more savory, whereas the regular eggs Benedict also savory but came with a red sauce that was surprisingly sweet when I was expecting something more traditional and savory. Overall, I would come here for a special occasion, as the price point feels a bit high for what you get. You can definitely find a similar eggs Benedict elsewhere for cheaper. That said, I do recommend trying the green hot sauce they have. I thought it paired really well and tasted better with the dish.

Today I gave it a try and felt that it was good in some areas and just ok in others. Overall the food tasted pretty healthy despite having pork belly and chorizo. The seasoning was definitely on the lighter side, where the french onion soup was tasting pretty close to an extremely light broth. Tried the cassoulet which I've heard of before but never seen on a menu. It was very hearty but also a but bland. Pulled pork and pork belly seemed to have zero salt. Duck leg confit also very bland. It was cooked well but just bland. The dishes with citrus were quite tasty. Beets and arugala salad very good, good quality goat cheese. Alligator chorizo grilled oysters surprisingly good. Never had alligator chorizo before but it was crispy and not fatty even though it resembled bacon visually. The oysters were small, even more small in comparison to the chorizo but it was a good bite. I would recommend skipping the clam chowder, french onion soup (not really caramelized onions to be honest), and the cassoulet unless you feel empowered to salt your own food. The clientele was definitely in the 60+ range. Nothing wrong with that obviously but tastes change with age and maybe thats why the seasoning was so light. Today there were just two wait staff for the whole place. Seemed understaffed and it took almost thirty minutes for food to come out. Waiting for the check took about fifteen minutes. Staff was nice but definitely overloaded. Today was a holiday though.

Uncommonly kind and friendly service! Great burgers, drinks, and atmosphere on the outdoor patio.read more

It's actually a training center I think. The staff are generally quite helpful and friendly. The line usually moves pretty slow though even if there are a lot of people working there. You're not always charged totally correctly for what you order, but obviously it's nice when undercharged! On to the details: the drinks are great, especially for a chain. The lattes are often creamy and unique tasting, especially if you add cinnamon and the honey which are complementary. They could put out some milk and cream which I think would be appreciated. Their sizes are good, but that leads me to that the prices are pretty steep, so if you get a single origin coffee option for example like in a latte, just order a small I would say. Same with the bagged coffee, like $11 for 7 oz. is a bit much. The Colombia single origin one I think in springtime is my favorite. Their app is great with many deals, and I got a free strawberry matcha thing a few weeks ago which I quite enjoyed. I also recently tried the new passionfruit guava refresher which is fantastic, highly recommended in summertime. The pastries are generally great, and they have multiple ones I haven't seen before. The cinnamon Kouign-amann is wonderful, with a kind of cinnamon jelly filling in the center. I also love the apple caramel bread and currently the apple cinnamon coffee cake they have is sublime. I recently tried the decadent s'mores croissant which was great. For the sandwiches and those kinds of things they look kind of dry and floppy, like they'd fall apart if you picked one up. I just tried the new clam chowder, a steep price but tasted pretty good and I loved that there were quite large clam pieces in there. The inside of Caffe Neros are always interesting and kind of old fashioned, with classical music playing and real and fake books alike on shelves. Random cushiony chairs are placed at tables and there's a good sized interior. It might be European influenced since it originated in England and is supposed to be Italian. There are many good options to try here, so come check it out!
