It's a cute local cafe that I highly recommend. It's cozy and small. The servers were polite and they have this cute little train track running around a platform above the tables. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the breakfast burrito and my only issue is that it was more of two tacos rather than a burrito but it was delicious anyways. I recommend getting their early on the weekends or being patient because it fills up quickly. read more

I really want these guys to succeed, especially coming out of the challenging times last year with the pandemic, but they have got to make some improvements. There are three types of people who should eat at The Club Car Cafe, families with kids who love trains, rail commuters, and retirees that want a friendly place to eat and nurse a cup of coffee. The restaurant is the former West Concord train station. There is a model train that runs high above the room and plenty of toy trains for little ones, or I guess anyone, to play with. The commuter rail stops right outside, so it's a convenient place to grab a cup of coffee and a muffin before getting on board. When you first walk in, the room seems dingy. But on closer inspection it's actually very clean, just old. The service is quite friendly. It's clear they take the time to know their regulars, and a lot of the customers are regulars. The food is a bit of a mix. On my most recent visit, I got a burger and fries. The burger was fantastic, but the fries were just awful. The BLT got rave reviews from my DC with crisp, flavorful bacon and high quality lettuce and tomato. For breakfast, I like sausage with fried eggs and toast. They have nailed that a few times for me. Seems like it should be easy, but it's amazing how many breakfast places can't pull it off. Omelets on the other hand aren't great and probably worth passing up. The Club Car Cafe isn't the type of place you're going to go on your birthday (unless you're two), but if you pick right you can get some pretty great food there. read more

Club Car Calf has a fun and family friendly atmosphere inside the old railroad station. The staff were friendly and prompt while quickly moving about to handle the weekend breakfast rush. I order decaf coffee and the Mexican Skillet, which says it comes with home fries, two eggs, cheddar cheese, chili, chorizo, avocado & salsa. The coffee arrived luke warm and a bit weak. When a waitstaff members asked I needed more coffee (asking how my coffee is a plus) I said yes, that I had decaf and it had come luke warm. She said she would come back with the decaf. In the mean time, the food arrived luke warm as if it had been sitting for a while. And even though it was in an iron skillet, the skillet was not at all heated. The eggs were cooked in the way I asked and over all the food was. tasty, but the portions were well bellow expectation. There may have been 1 pound of food in the skillet. The avocado was a small single slice that was as hard as a rock because it was not ripe. There was about 1 cup of potatoes, a small amount of chili, and no chorizo that I could detect. She came back with a freshly made pot of decaf (that's a plus). However, it was warm , not hot, and not very tasty. Overall the service was good (even during a rush) and the food was tasty. But, for leaving not feeling full, poor coffee, and the $25 price tag, I don't believe the CCC is a good value for the money and better value could be found elsewhere near by. read more

Indoor and outdoor seating available, indoor is spacious and tables are large with distancing between them I felt safe dining here. We were looking forward to trying this very cute place right on the railroad tracks, but we were overall disappointed. Ambience is fun with a working model train overhead, and our server was very nice. But our food took quite a long time to arrive, and when it did, it wasn't very good. The buffalo chicken sandwich was chewy and overdone, the coleslaw had no flavor, and the au jus for the French dip was actually too salty, believe it or not. The fries weren't bad, and the server did thank us for our patience, unprompted. We understand the pandemic has made it very difficult to hire people. Being a local and growing up in town I have been here a handful of times. The service can be a bit slow, but always very friendly and helpful. They have Thomas stuff and trains and is a lovely cafe right at the train station where you can watch trains go by with your kids. Tasty muffins decent coffee (I'm a Starbucks and sometimes Peet's drinker exclusively so less particular folks might be fine) beautiful scones and wonderful sociable patrons, owners and staff. After a long wait the "Belgian waffles" turned out to be one plain waffle, no strawberries, 2 squirts of canned whipped cream, no butter, served lukewarm; the "home fries" were inedible nuggets out of a frozen package, not fresh, also lukewarm. Great place for kids! If you time it right, you can watch the commuter rail go by from inside or walk outside and see it up close. There's a toy train continuously running overhead to entertain the kiddos too. There's parking right outside. Inside isn't fancy, but it goes with the club car and historical feel and feels down to earth. Food was great! I had the veggie omelet and it had the most generous amount of veggies that I've had in an omelet! I liked that you could also order a single pancake. My kids love pancakes but usually only end up eating one. Prices were down to earth and very reasonable. Will be back soon to try other things on the menu! It took a bit longer for the food to arrive, but knowing that most restaurants are short staffed, we were expecting a longer wait. My husband took the kids out for a stroll while I waited. A little hard to find, but the West Concord Depot has a hidden treasure: the Club Car Cafe. Commuters know it as a place to grab a cup of coffee. But it is also a pleasant and welcoming place for a leisurely breakfast. If you've got the time, they have all the breakfast standards plus a willingness to go off the menu to make what you want. Steak and eggs? How do you want that steak? And how should we cook your eggs? Add in the drama of trains right outside the window and a big scale model train circling the room and you've got a great place for kids. read more

Waitress discussed our bill discrepancy issue with owner in front of us yet neither addressed us ( bill was over charged). Rude, unprofessional & the place is dirty too. Many other choices in town. Chose those. This place is awful!!! 1/2 pound of ham in the sandwich???? Seriously? NOT TRUE! The meat was not "grilled" as you stated & the cheese wasnt even melted.
