Porter and hefeweizen - both were solid and a nice outdoor seating experience.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great service and property.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are yard games, tvs for football, and a nice seating area to gather with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

What a fun spot! Was lucky to get a flight of beers and you must get the pretzel and beer cheese. We got the first one and instantly ordered another. The portion of cheese is excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So fun to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We ran into this brewery at their booth at the Fredericksburg Beer Festival in June and had to come check the brewery out for ourselves. We love this place and the McConauhaze beer is stellar! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool vibe with a fab outdoor patio and yard games like corn hole[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . We got a cider with a guava shooter inside. Yummy! Check this place out.

The bartender Micah was great to talk with, very informative and personable. We didn't order any grub, but I think they had nachos on the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The joint had typical old and current craft brew memorabilia laced on the walks, cool outdoor heated & screened in patio, out of sight carved tree in back, and a nice little lounge area with cornhole.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Tried their blonde beer called Gulf Kolsch, it was very good, but my favorite go to is the McConawhaze ipa., with its cloudy appearance and multi-fruit and hoppy flavors. Great drive to get here to Dripping Springs!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very chill place and the beer was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The guys who served us were incredibly friendly and patient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat inside during our visit but the outside area looked like a great vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We definitely would have gone back if we were in town longer.

Great atmosphere, beer, & food. Took my pups to Twisted X the day before my birthday to celebrate. Love the pitmaster & the hazy ipa. Lots of seating, great food truck. 10 out of 10 would recommend you his place for a sunny spring day.

We come to Twisted X Brewing at least once a year when we are out in the hill country area for Barks 4 Beers. They always have new beers on tap (this time was a jalepeno lager) which was good but not really are style. Their most popular beer and now one of Austin's biggest and best seller brew is the Mcconauhaze. That beer is an amazing hazy ipa that is comparable to Pint House Brewings Electric Jelly Fish. Don't miss out on this brewery if you are in the area and looking for some good tasty ones!

This place has a fun atmosphere with a large connect 4 and other games for you to play while you are visiting. They have a variety of beer choices, where some are very different than other places. You can try a flight, but each one cost a different amount or just have a pint. They will also give you a sample to try if you are torn between a few. I did a sample of Fuego, Austin Lager, and Salty Chihuahua. I also had a pint of their lager. The Fuego was a Jalapeno Pils that had just the right amount of heat to it to taste the jalapeno. It was rather good, but I could not do more than a flight size or sample size. The Salty Chihuahua was a sea-salt and lime flavored lager. It was good, but like the Fuego, only in small portions for this gal.

5 beer samples and one Haberno Lime East Side Cider. All were fantastic.

Just a terrific place for a drink with friends. Staff is friendly and super helpful suggesting the different beers they have on tap. Enjoyed the flight of beers and the Lobster Roll from the food truck on site.

First time here, indoor and outdoor seating, walk up service, food truck with pizza. Beverage selection: beer, soft drinks and some drink creations they make from their beers. Beer selection was over a dozen, about half were IPAs. No porters, no stouts, especially for this time of year. Overall sampling of selections was nothing to rave about, very little body and no depth in flavor. Bar staff was polite and busing the entire place. Unisex bathrooms need regular attention, bar staff should not have to do that too. Overall impression: we won't drive to Dripping for Twisted X as a destination in the future.

Flight. Couldn't find anything I really enjoyed

I think this place is mainly for the atmosphere. My husband and I stopped by on our random "pub crawl" of the Hill Country. I can't say I had had Twisted X beer before (or maybe I have and it wasn't memorable). The location is nice and quiet, with a ton of outdoor seating. However, the sewage smell was overwhelming! The inside was large and open but was crowded and was so loud. I don't know- I was impressed with the building, but not the beer, and definitely not the smell.

Back is big but not as large as the front area. It's almost like being at a giant campground. This is an extremely family-friendly place. Kids are everywhere, especially on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Big play structure and playground for kids. They have face painting and other kids activities on the weekends. Extremely busy at all times but service doesn't lack. Also, pop-up tents with local artisans selling their wares. Live music on the stage every Saturday. Food menu (we didn't eat). Really decent pours when it comes to craft beer. Shared the salted caramel stout with my boyfriend. Hands down one of the best stouts I've ever had (I fancy myself a stout snob). Even our fur boy, Sir B. gives two paws up (see photos). Bonus: band playing when we were there spied me in an Oasis shirt and did a cover of "Don't Look Back in Anger". Nice job, guys.

I came in here with friends and the kids on a Saturday evening to what we didn't expect - SUCH a great night ahead! Every Saturday they have musical bingo with kid friendly and adult prize options. There were like 3 kids birthday celebrations going on to top it off! So, it was pretty busy! Our food took awhile to come out due to my last statement (duh) but wow it was worth the wait. Mostly that Vendoro pizza, which was mouthwatering and devoured instantly (pesto all over the face with no shame). Since it was our first time there we got 3 beer flights and were satisfied with all of the options we had per our bartender's recommendations! I wish I could remember the guy's name that helped us but I'm sure I'll get it once I go again soon! Ah, it was just such a wonderful time. Super wholesome. Super family friendly. Everyone we encountered both customers and other workers around us were all so delightful too. I know I might say it often, but with this place I reeeally am looking forward to coming back again soon.

Their solution: FREE BEER ALL WEEKEND. Now, it's impossible to give anything less than 5 stars when it's free! We indulged in 4 Pints & ordered food/tipped back heavily enough to compensate for the freebies. It's simply a beautiful workaround to stay open & stay relevant- plus, staff are still getting paid. We did both the smashburger and chicken sliders - 3 of each & all different styles ($15/ set) - @ $5/ ea, that was kind of high but more variety. The single sammie is definitely a better value. They were tasty. Again, with free beer - hey, still a great deal! The grounds alone are worth the visit. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They shared the background story for this veteran owned business & it was all just very inviting. The beers we had were all good. My favorite was the dark stout, which was a very solid stout.

There's also a small indoor area if you need some air conditioning, but it isn't very big. One warning: the beer lines can get really long on weekends.

We walked through the parking lot and on the path to the pizza and bar area. We past a large field that had a playscape and noticed that there was also a path that leads to a goat experience. We didn't do that but I wouldn't mind seeing what that's like in the future. When at the pizza and bar area we were greeted by a friendly person that took our order and name. Then we went and found a place to sit. The dining area is huge with plenty of places to sit. There were also several water refill stations which is great. Someone eventually called our name and my husband picked up our order. My husband ordered an iced hibiscus mint tea to try. He liked it. I tried it and the hibiscus flavor was a little too strong for me. We decided to share two pizzas. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the pickle pizza. The pepperoni pizza was good. The crust was light and airy and the pepperoni had flavor. The pickle pizza was delicious. I've never had anything like it. The pizza crust was light and the pizza was flavorful. On a side note the bathroom that I experienced was in an airstream trailer and they were clean. They had other bathrooms onsite but I didn't see them. Overall Jester King Brewery was a very cool place to stop. The open field, playscape, and different experiences are great for families. The service was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. The dining area was big and the pizza was pretty good. I hope to eventually get back there for the goat experience.

So, if there's a place I like, I'm gonna go again and again. Vista is one of those places. I like their approach to beer making. They are vigilantly local when it comes to ingredients and offerings. The brewery/restaurant sits on over 20 acres in hill country. Large, clean, and modern interior with large outdoor seating areas and patio setups. Picnic tables, fire pits, etc. The food is good, gang. Love the grilled sausage board and the cheese board (all local cheese). Soft pretzel & cheese also super good. Lots of other items in the menu that look incredible. Sunday brunch too. Farm to table. The pours...oh, the pours. Excellent beers! I love the black pilsner (Dark Skies), the chocolate notes come through in such an aromatic and roasty manner. The pale ale (Driftwood Pale Ale) is the perfect summer pour. It's a very spacious indoor and outdoor restaurant with lots of seating and places to explore. As we walked in I noticed that it's very bright with a lot of windows. You order at the counter. When we walked up to the counter the menu was on the bar top. We looked at the menu and placed our order with the man working behind the counter. He was really cool and answered our questions. After ordering he gave us a number and told us to seat ourselves. After figuring out where we wanted to sit we went to the water station and grabbed some water. We looked around inside at the decor and talked while we waited for our order. We started with two sharables and each ordered the burgers of our choice. Unfortunately when they started bringing out our food they made an error in how it was made. We told them, the took the wrong order back, and after awhile they brought us everything and apologized for the error. Our sharables were the Grilled Chimichurri Avacado which comes with a half avocado, corn, and tortilla chips, and the Hummus Board which comes with hummus, veggies, and pitas. Both of these sharables were tasty in different ways. The Grilled Chimichurri Avacado was delicious. You could taste all of the delicious flavors and the tortilla chips were strong enough to hold a mix of the ingredients. The Hummus Board was also very tasty. The Hummus was garlic flavored and the veggies were fresh and crisp. The pitas were warm and soft. For my main dish I ordered the Driftwood Cheeseburger. It comes with a beef patty, bacon jam, onions, pickles, sauce, and cheese. I opted for no cheese. The burger meat was really good. You could taste the Smokey flavor from the grill on the meat. The bacon jam was sweet but not overly sweet and gave the burger a sweet and savory flavor. The pickles added texture to the burger. It was a really good burger. I ordered my burger with a side of kettle chips which were nice and crispy. Overall it was a great place to visit. The service was good, the atmosphere was spacious, nice and bright, and the food was fresh and delicious.
