We just spent over $50 on ice cream and gave a $5 tip. The strawberry shake tasted really fake and gross. I asked if we could switch it to a cookies and cream shake bc my son didn't like the flavor and she said no, did he try it? I said yes and he didn't like that the strawberry flavor tasted fake. She said I could put some strawberries on top, it's real strawberry, I said no thank you, can we just switch it to a different flavor? She's said, not unless you purchase another one. I told her she could have it and throw it away then.. I'm shocked. This would be the first customer service I ever received quite like this. read more

There was six of us that arrived just before 10 pm. A couple of people were ahead of us and while we were waiting for our turn to order a line quickly formed behind us. This place is always busy but they are able to handle the crowds and the wait is not too bad. I ordered a vanilla & chocolate swirl in a cone that was dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts. The soft serve ice cream was very refreshing and tasted great in the upgraded cone. The chocolate dip didn't taste like chocolate but it didn't really matter because the presentation was nice and the nuts were fresh. read more

We loved it! We've driven by this place for years and never really stopped but last night we were craving ice cream so we decided to pay a quick visit. It was a 5 min drive from our hotel so it was perfect. When we arrived there was a long line and that's almost always a good sign. We ordered a swirl cone and two vanilla milkshakes and they were all delicious! The strawberry milkshakes were really good, definitely try them if you stop by. They have about 3 or 4 tables outside with umbrellas. The only thing we noticed was that it said online that they closed at 12am however they closed around 10:45/11pm instead. Luckily we were able to get our order in but we saw people arriving just as they closed. They may need to update the times online so make sure you call before going if you're planning to visit at night. read more

Twistee Treat will always be the best soft serve place around. I will always get the Vanilla and Chocolate swirl soft serve on a cake cone (and if I want the extra calories, I'll have it dipped in chocolate). My wife will get the Vanilla and Strawberry swirl soft serve on a cake cone, but this time she added Oreo cookie crumble as her topping. My in-laws got the Banana Boat (a fancy name for the banana split). So good! I can't say anymore about this place except try it out. It's a great ice cream place for these hot summer days still yet to fully arrive. read more

Decided on ice cream for dessert after dinner on International Drive, and Twistee Treat was the choice. We almost walked away several times while waiting about 10 minutes just to order....and we were 2nd in line. Waited another 10 minutes to then get the order at another window. But it wasn't a service issue. They had ONE person working there....taking orders, collecting the cash, then making the order. We felt really sorry for her, so we exercised patience, and it paid off. They have 5 versions of soft serve ice cream. My wife got the chocolate-vanilla, I got the vanilla-strawberry. We were both happy with the results. They seriously need to get some help for this poor girl, as the place was slammed pretty good on a Sunday night. read more

I've never seen such an expensive Twistee Treat before. I ordered a Swirl and basically all the toppings were just sitting on top and almost nothing was mixed in to the ice cream itself. Not worth $8 read more

This place doesn't look that pretty and I've seen it dozens of times but heard it was great. They have so many ice cream flavors and so many toppings it is worth a stop! The service is fast although I've seen a line in the past. It's a quick in and out and you can get a sweet treat. The pecans and other high end toppings made it 5 star! I was in Orlando with one of my friends and we had just had our dinner and my friend wanted a dessert. We stopped by over here for a small ice cream break. I was already full so I just ordered a kids sized chocolate flavored soft serve ice cream and my friend ordered a sundae I guess. The ice cream was ok, not too bad but not too good either. My kid-size soft serve was very generous in portion and also a bit much for me as I had already eaten a heavy dinner. The taste was ok, and quantity was very generous in both the orders. I would recommend this place if you want to eat a good quantity of ice cream at a very reasonable price but are not too picky with taste. read more

Great soft serve fast serve chain ice cream. My first visit was years ago to a store after the beach. I thought it was a mom & pop type of store because the ice cream was so creamy and refreshing. Some soft serve ice cream tastes plasticity- not Twistie! A year or so later I moved to Orlando and while running around discovered a few of them!!! Yum - fast and perfect when you need a treat. I ordered $30 dollars worth of ice cream for my four kids for my sons birthday everything was okay but my sons "birthday boy" ice cream and went to ask for a different flavor of ice cream. When the manager working was being very rude and unprofessional so I asked for the owners name or number and her name to get in contact with them to explain the situation I'm a very understanding person and wasn't even upset if she was to say that they can not take the ice cream back and had to pay for a new one but she was being very nasty from the get and I didn't appreciate that the money wasn't the problem I would've paid for a new one it was the service and the fact that she called my son obese and saying he didn't need the ice cream in the first place please get back to me! read more

From the top of the swirl to the very bottom of the inside of my cone, there was not a single air pocket to be found. I got the chocolate flavored ice cream, and every bite was chocolatey and creamy heaven. Now, if you know your desserts, the cone that is used is usually known as a chimney cake. It is a sweet pastry that is soft on the inside and has a glass-like crunchy exterior that is coated with cinnamon and sugar. It's a little like eating a cruffin, but with a crunchier exterior due to their special way of making it. Definitely worth trying at least once if you've never tried it before. Overall, if you're looking to impress a foodie with something sweet, decadent, and pretty, I'd say give this place a go. The ice cream is as perfect and delicious as you see it.

It's a small food truck in a cute backyard. They do movie viewings periodically, which gives a nice "date night vibe". The shaved ice was really good! It was a natural treat that didn't raise my blood sugar too bad! The syrups are made from fresh fruit, some have real fruit! It was delicious!
