Twistee is where it's at when you have a sweet craving! This time I had the cookie ice cream sandwich with Oreo topping. I was surprised how thick it was. Lol I've had the ice cream taco before, that's also huge. The crew here is great. They make sure you're apart of the rewards program. They ask for your phone number each time to make sure you get your points. No indoor seating as this is an order at the counter/ outdoor-facility. A year later nothing has changed. My daughter wanted ice cream and we were close by. A lady named "Nina" on her name tag was the server. There was another person working as well. I was the only client and it took over 8 minutes to give me one small child's cup (without any explanation). Do not recommend. You advertise hot dogs. I've been through 4 times, no hot dogs. Then on 5th time, they said they didn't carry hot dogs on the menu anymore. You advertise banana split. Again, I drove through empty handed. You're next door to Aldi's, go buy some damn bananas, you have everything else. Very disappointed in your company. You need to change your menu. And for this location, you can't see the menu board in the drive thru because from 1pm till sundown, the sun is in your face preventing you from seeing the menu board. read more

We signed up for their (free) rewards program...we admittedly stop waaay too often after discovering this place a month ago when our kiddo asked for a choc/vanilla twist...which believe it or not is hard to find...I called custard shops, baskin r, a bunch of places...no, no, and no TWISTS. I personally had no interest in a twist cone...welllll until I took a lick of his to help with dripping. Now I am a waffle twist cone nut. And I lived in Italy and have a deep appreciation for real gelato. Twistee Treat is its own deliciousness! We have already earned a reward. read more

The ice cream was good. Same as you'll get at a thousand other places. I ordered a chocolate/vanilla twist cone and two chili cheese hotdogs. My total was nearly $16. $16 for two hotdogs and an ice cream cone! The ice cream cone was $3 which mean each of those dogs were $6+ each.....what in the world! That's beyond highway robbery. Ice cream is awesome. But every time I go she screws up my order. And every time she screws up she says " I'll. Make it over for you. I get one free ice cream a day". I never let her make it over. But funny thing, when I went Saturday, there were about 5 ice creams lined up. One she just placed there because she screwed up the order before mine. So I don't know if she is screwing up on purpose or is she really this dysfunctional?? I am leaning toward the dysfunction. We were so ready for a twisted delight. The wait is a fergetaboutit...one car in front of us. Finally, the cahrge for two small dipped cake cones...10.03. Yep! You see that right, ten freeaking dollars! When i questioned they just walked away from drive thru window, next thing i know they are handine me stuff i did not order when corrected they got all pissy. Finally, i got my cone..my friend finished thiers in the meantim...and the sucker was wrong! Oh well it was icecream on a hot day..but i wont go back . Words are not enough to describe my immense disappointment today. My father and I have been looking forward to trying Twistee Treat for a while and were really excited to try the ice cream here after reading the reviews under Google, and seeing the favorable rating under Google as well. However, the customer service here is rude to put it in a nice way. As this was my first time here I decided to park the car, and order at the window rather than going through the drive through to be able to have enough time to look over the menu and make a decision. I ordered two cones, one for myself and one for my father waiting in the car. I get my first cone, and then all of a sudden the sky pours. Rain is coming down hard like a tropical storm and cold. I am wet and my first cone is wet. So my big issue is what comes next. The employees proceed to make at least the next two cones for a drive through order before getting back to finishing my order. I am not over exaggerating when I say I waited at least a couple minutes with rain continually pouring on me (because the building is the shape of an ice cream cone there is no overhead at the window you walk up to) as I watched them make cones for people sitting in their cars. Customer service also lacked in their knowledge of the menu. When I asked any recommendations for flavors, the employee said chocolate as that was the only thing she has had. Typically employees know and are able to recommend the popular flavors other customers have ordered continually over and over again. The blank expressions on all of the employees faces as they watch me get poured on by the rain as I was waiting for them to complete my order makes me bitter, and likely to never come back here again. There are always other ice cream hotspots in the bay area. Sorry is not enough. Whoever is running management here will likely comment on this like they have on other negative reviews telling to contact them at this email address with a more in depth description for PR, but I have essentially described my experience to the best of my ability already. This restaurant does not even deserve one star. The service was one of the worst I've ever experienced. The server messed up my order and then got rude with me when i asked where my last sundae was. This spot is dangerously close to my house! I grew up going to the local twistee treat so I was so excited to see this one coming in! My favorites are the Oreo Twirl and the Cup of Vanilla with chocolate dip. It's really inexpensive and big servings! My fiancé and I always share a kiddie sized. We went there a few nights ago, I told the young lady at the window my order, two times, she had a hard time, she was training, I understood so I repeated my order over and over. We picked up our order at the other window, it was still wrong. I had told them it was wrong and I was told well you paid for a small, I told the young girl my order multiple times, so they made me another. My other order was wrong as well. I asked for one thing and a older woman said well it's basically the same thing, I said no it's not. She got frustrated with me and made it again, it was wrong again. At this point we just wanted to leave. Ice cream was ok, but the service was horrible. I told my order to multiple people a total of six times. How hard is it to make a ice cream order. We've been going there for years and this is the first time we've ever had a problem. Whomever is on staff there now, needs a few lessons in customer service and active listening skills. read more

Love the ice cream but the service (or lack thereof) is horrible. My husband and I walked up to the window to order. There was no one in line and only one car in the drive thru. There were three employees inside. One was helping the drive thru customer and the other two were watching something on their phone. They saw us and completely ignored us.
