Inside is a walk up only, on interior seats. Order and pay up front, then they make your treat in the back. Lots of variety of waffle sundaes, large sundae party boats, cones, shakes and smoothies. But what makes it the best in my opinion is the fact that the proof is in the pudding, in this case the quality of ice-cream. They use everything Ghirardelli to make your special cool yum treat. Expect to pay more than the other places in the park duet to the quality of product. Make sure you use your season pass for a 10% discount. Our family has been coming to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for around 10 years and at some point switched over to Ghirardelli making is the superior joint for ice-cream in the park. It appeared they were training up front today with a manager shadowing the gal at the cash register. She did great, but it slowed things down. The staff in the back making the sundaes hustled to get out our order and did a great job with a smile on their face. Splotches of yogurt under almost every dispenser. All the serving utensils are sticky and the toppings were cross contaminated. There were 3 employees working and not one of them cleaned anything the whole time we were there...and there were no other customers there! We love Menchie's so much so this was really disappointing. I want the old owners back!!
