The hush puppies are not good but the large fish tacos were done really well. The hush puppies looked and tasted mediocre. But the tacos with the fresh halibut were sooo tasty and huge. Definitely shareable!

Parking was limited, but we caught a spot & felt right at home with the pub decor and feel when brought inside. Our waitress was great, friendly and helpful. My husband ate the breaded mushrooms and they were perfect. He also really enjoyed his burger and even the fries were really good. Honestly it's hard to find good fries most often and my husband will complain (to me at least). I LOVED my Ahi Tuna Bites. It was executed perfectly. We would absolutely return here when visiting the area.

Yorktown Pub continues to be an amazing watering hole dive serving great bites and libations, It's been way to long and I was glad to visit them again. Nothing has changed whatsoever on the decor. A friendly host seated me and then my waitress. I was going to be easy and knew I wanted a bowl of chili on a cold October day. My best WL pushed out in 10 minutes and was delicious! If you have yet to check them out they are a must! The Yorktown Pub is legendary for the area.

Strait out of a can chili. Had to add salt and pepper to taste anything. Was still hungry but left the last 1/2 since it didn't taste good

Nice people. Good service Their chili is directly out of the can Hormal canned chili. Tasted like absolute nothing. Had to add salt and pepper to taste anything and then just didn't even eat 1/2. Paid an extra $1 for cheese and onions on top. I'm talking bye 7 little cheese pieces and the same with tiny onions. Their clam chowder was salty. And other than the fried seafood, it wasn't worth the cost. Need to remind ourselves this is tourist trap with bumped up prices for quickly made (and not properly seasoned) food. Major disappointment and a waste of $30 for a sandwich, fries and a cup of chili

This place is amazing! Great service, great atmosphere and great food! Tori was awesome!

Cute little place with water views. The service was fast and friendly. The table we were seated at wasn't clean but they wiped it down. We ordered some specialty drinks (Rip Current & Sea 2the Sun) and they were good. Then we got the Guinness beef stew with fries, and a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of chili with cheese and onions. We finished it off with a slice of German chocolate cake (not pictured). The food was ok. Nothing spectacular, but good. The cake was made by a bakery in town and pretty good! Cute local hand out.

Our first time to Yorktown and had no idea what to expect. The riverwalk area was short but nice. What made it great was this restaurant. The restaurant was busy. We only waited about 15 minutes. But the view of the water made the wait enjoyable. The atmosphere was appropriate for a casual place. Lots of dark wood, a bar, booths and, I assume, faux copper ceiling tiles. We were seated in a high table near the window with a view of York River. Our server was great! She helped me make a choice of beer. The double IPA was citrusy which I like. I was torn between the fish tacos, a loaded baked potato with "famous" chili, or grilled crab sandwich. She said beyond a doubt get the tacos. She was so right! I love fish tacos. The Booming Tacos, an off-the-menu item, was over the top. I mean there was so much rockfish it was over the top of the grilled flour tortilla. The moist blackened fish pieces laid atop spring mix and drizzled with a creamy spicy boom boom sauce. My husband had the Rachel, a turkey sandwich on rye with Russian dressing and coleslaw, it came with french fries that seemed to have a bit of a coating that made them very crunchy. Everything was great. If ever back in the area, this will be the place to eat.

While being very busy for a Friday lunch rush, they were able to seat our party of six pretty quickly. The food all came out quickly and tasted great. I got the reuben and it was very good and not too greasy. They also had malt vinegar for my fries, which were crispy and hot. It was loud inside, as expected for a pub, but we had no problem hearing each other.

While visiting the historic town of Yorktown Virginia my wife and I decided to try Yorktown Pub after the Trolly driver recommended it to us. We got there around lunch time and had to wait approximately 10 minutes to get seated which wasn't bad. My wife started with the Beer Battered Onion Rings which were good. She ordered the Fried Rockfish Sandwich and I ordered the Seafood combo. Everything was good. Both of us had mix feelings on the fried Rockfish. I was a little tuff and had a different taste. My oysters, shrimp and crab cake were good. Our sides were potato salad, coleslaw and fries which were also good. Overall we had good service and the place was nice. My Seafood Combo was $40 which I thought was a little expensive.

We stopped in today for lunch. I immediately fell in love with the whole vibe! The place was hopping. And despite the busyness of lunch rush we were greeted right away. We opted to sit at the bar, as it was just my mom and I, the bartender was friendly and even helped with my indecisiveness. Her drink suggestion was just what I needed after a morning of major sightseeing. The food was delicious! We both had raw oysters and Gonzo burgers. If you are in Yorktown Virginia I highly recommend you have a meal and a cocktail at the Yorktown Pub. Warm friendly atmosphere, fabulous food and libations.

I had the blackened flounder and butterbeans. Bother wonderfully seasoned with herbs and full of flavor. The tartar sauce was amazing. Everything tasted freshly made. The view is wonderful, looking out over the water. There were a lot of staff working, service was quick and the waitresses charming. My wife adds that the clamp chowder was awesome and paired well with potato skins.

For 4 years now--this is the only place I will eat: I have never had a anything but the best food (granted: I only do ahi and fries). Ever since my start of Beach Day Friday tradition, I have gradually built up a posse of fellow RVA beach-goers. Each visitor is pushed into a midday Yorktown Pub lunch--needless to say, no one has visited another place since! Yorktown Pub has now been etched into their mindset as the complete Beach Day Experience. PS--sitting at the bar offers the best local-ish experience: the two bartenders Ive had over these past 4 years not only give me the best recommendations, but also they remember me and my friends, not locals, but we are treated as locals and feel sooo welcomed! Thank you Shauntae and whole staff and management, for the beautiful experience. I will ALWAYS RETURN (just keep up the amazing work, service, and fresh food)!

We decided to hop over here to catch specials for St. Patrick's Day and they also had karaoke going on. Would this first visir hold potential for yours truly? Our group was able to snag a table right across the bar with no issues. For the whole night, foot traffic wasn't heavy. For the pub itself, it is a bit dated, but nothing where major updates are needed. They also have a separate section for billards and you can also smoke while enjoying company. All of us did order food while some sang karaoke (I didn't participate). For myself, I selected a fried petals basket which came with their house sauce. It was good enough for me since I ate earlier. The food was very good. Each fried onion was very crispy and their house sauce was a great compliment. I also decided to have one of their house drinks. The fruit bomb which consisted of Three Olives Loopy vodka and Red Bull. The drink was very good. Not too strong and just right. And for you diabetics out there like myself, the vodka is sugar free. The Red Bull does add sweetness to the drink, but your carb intake will be just fine. For a first timer, it was a good experience. A nice staff with some good food and spirts on hand. I'll definitely make a return here soon :)

Whether it's with friends or just the two of us, we've never been disappointed. Let's see how this visit went. We were immediately seated once we walked inside. It wasn't completely packed for a Saturday afternoon but staff was really busy with customers. The vibe was one that made us comfortable for the most part. After a few minutes of looking over the menu, we were ready to order. My selection was the Tavern Monte Cristo which consisted of chargrilled chicken and ham as the protein with Gouda cheese and cider aioli fried in a tempura batter with tavern fries. The meal was served hot and ready and tasted great. And having the cranberry coulis as a dipping sauce really added some taste. My only gripe with the sandwich was the amount of protein. I'm not sure if I ate most of it when we dined in, but when I ate the rest for dinner, it was more breading than anything else. Still good but they could've included more. Nonetheless, I was full. Good stuff as always from Park Lane Tavern :)
