Very fancy place. Was there on a Saturday around 1:30. Not what I would call a cafe, however. More of a fine dining restaurant/bistro. Should have read more carefully, I guess. Expensive but very good food, I had the escargot and the panko crusted cod.

Had a music venue close by and wanted Tom try this tiny French bistro. Is really cute and the owners and staff are great. Treat u very warm. Tables are tight but comfy'. We started with jumbo coconut shrimp. They were big but not much flavor. Dipping sauce was a weird mustard sauce. But shrimp were fresh and snappy. Also ordered tuna tartare with avocado . Table liked it. Was super fresh and cold with a nice vinaigrette. My buddy ordered lobster ravioli . He order . Double order cause one order was too small he loves the ravioli but it was with a soupy broth. I had a rigatoni ams shrimp dish. With crusted with a white cream Sauce. It was a tarragon cream sauce with panko toasted crumbs over pasta. It was dry and didn't have much taste. My wife has the stuffed chicken with crispy Brie With baby spinach salad warm bacon mushroom with onion balsamic Demi glacé My wife didn't like it. It was a weird combo and way too sweet. Cute place wait staff top notch. The dinners need some fine tuning. Parking is tuff

My girlfriend and I stopped in here for dinner the other night and what an experience! The waiter and staff is very pleasant and made it such a nice evening. They gave us a complementary appetizer which had a coconut shrimp and lentil soup. They were both great. The braised short rib was amazing, so tender and delicious. The tarragon rigatoni was SO good! We also had dessert, a chocolate cake and crème brûlée, both were great Definitely plan on coming back !

This was such a cute place for a girls night out. The staff was very friendly. My friend and I came for an 8pm reservation. I ordered the tarragon rigatoni and she ordered the brisket. I loved my meal. The flavor of the cream sauce was incredible and the pasta was perfectly cooked. I tasted my friends brisket, and wished it had more flavor because it was pretty bland but the presentation was good. For dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake and creme brulee. We also had espresso martinis which was delicious. Overall I loved the atmosphere and the restaurant. Would definitely come here again.

Date night and also to celebrate our anniversary. Delicious braised short ribs, tender and juicy. The Thai pasta app with shrimp were also good.. liked the fresh basil and jumbo shrimp in it, pasta was Al dente and perfect. Nice available wine pairings as well. Butternut squash soup was tasty with nice touch of pumpkin seeds and a hint of basil. Also enjoyed the bread pudding dessert with a side of vanilla ice cream. Service was on point, courteous and friendly. The vibe was vibrant and lively on a Friday night. We finished everything we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here.

The seafood paellas are portion perfect ie; large, the tapas favorites include garlic shrimp, octopus, croquetas, Iberico ham, lamb chops, and seasonal specials. Because the dining room is relatively small, expect a noisy environment. Weekend waits can be long because of this restaurant's popularity, but it is so worth the wait. The staff is friendly, the clientele is neighborly, and you're guaranteed to enjoy your restaurant experience here. For Piermont, it's one of the strongest dining experiences available, particularly if one enjoys sharing plates. If you're going for the first time, I'd order the garlic shrimp, a few tapas to share, and one of the paellas for the table. Begin with a selection of tapas before choosing from one of their signature paellas, including seafood, meat, vegetarian, or surf-and-turf options. So I booked it for my wife's birthday and was excited to take her and our two kids. This is not a family friendly place. My kids are very well mannered and yet it seemed not welcomed there. Clearly you're under a ticking clock (1.5 hr limit)and the wait staff is impatient, the menu is dense which is great because there's a lot of interesting and unique dishes. But they don't give you time to understand and decide. We had soft shell crab, was very good, fried zucchini blossoms were decent but needed salt, the meatballs were good but needed salt. Pizza was good. I had the porchetta which was good. The squid ink pasta was solid. Wine was great value at $60 a bottle for all Italian wine. We had the Chardonnay and it was the highlight of the meal. But it was hard to enjoy it with the vibe that we somehow were imposing. Honestly it was all male servers plus the owner and I think a woman's touch for hospitality would go a loooong way here to help this place be more convivial. The weirdest and off putting ambiance thing is that they were playing country music which did not vibe with the joint at all. We didn't stay for desert, and glad we didn't.

Even the food runners were excellent, smiled and said hello when they approached the table. The service was definitely 5 star. The Food, presentation was excellent. The flavors, just weren't there. We started with these beautiful onion rings which were house made. Big, beautiful and fried to a crisp golden perfection, yet taste, there was none. absolutely nothing. the most boring onion ring ever. Then the wedge salad, chopped and soggy. If your going to reinvent a classic salad, it better be good. I had the seared yellow fin tuna, again what happen to the flavor. it had a carrot ginger puree, that was more for color than flavor. the best part was the arugula pickled onions and tomatoes that came on the plate. My dinner partner had 16 oz prime dry age rib eye, which he did not enjoy. I am not a meat eater but tastes it and was not impressed. this steak was so thin. they took 16oz and spread it across the entire plate, taking away the true essences of a steak. I was pretty disappointed in the food but the cocktails were very good as well as their wine-selection. I beautiful place with great staff, which i would go back maybe just for happy hour. One other disappointment is with being such an nice steakhouse and all of the staff dressed and all so professional why isn't there any type os dressed code. Why are they allowing people to dine in sweatpants and messy t shirts.
