    Double Cheeseburger.

The burgers here are what it's all about. I can't say they're the best I've ever had, but they were delicious and satisfying. We walked in late on a Friday evening and sat in the back patio, which was nice on a spring night. I ordered the signature 282 Green Hatch Chile Cheeseburger ($15) and the husband got the Double Cheeseburger ($19). The double cheeseburger was stacked and he struggled to fully bite into it because those patties are thick. This is a good one if you're hungry and looking for protein in your diet. I found the hatch chile cheeseburger to be a right balance and enjoyed the kick of spice from the chile. We also got the Chili Cheese Fries ($9) on the side, which was a decent portion. The one thing I didn't like was that the chili still had whole beans and there wasn't much of a sauce, so wouldn't get this with the chili again. Otherwise, solid burger spot along Atlantic Ave. they also have a good lunch special for a burger and side during the weekdays.

One of the best cheeseburger I had this year. Perfectly cooked to medium rare and the special sauce makes it taste so good. Check this place out.

After traveling, this place was a couple of blocks away from my lodging and I was definitely hoping that they had something on the menu that I could eat that late. Thankfully, they did. Walking in, it gives dive bar vibes in a good way. The decor was cool and the bartender was of great assistance. I ordered the lamb burger and it was delicious. The tzatziki sauce was creamy and complemented the lamb. Although I ordered it well, it was not dry or rubbery. A hotdog (which seemed to be a kosher beef dog- I did not eat it) and fries were also ordered. Both are child approved. I have already told people about this place and it is on my list to revisit.

A solid option if you showed up at red Hook Tavern and the line was around the block. Two 8 two did not disappoint. A solid burger, no frills, and bangin onion rings. Throw a beer with that and some cheeky bar banter with the regulars and I had myself a lovely evening !

Two 8 two has been on my radar for a couple years now as I've been hearing amazing things about their burgers. Yesterday, I finally had an opportunity to swing by and try one since I was in the area! I chose the Half and Half burger, which consists of a bacon and beef blend, along with hatch chiles and a delightful house sauce. I was really pleased with the flavors, but at $15 it was a bit steep pricewise given the size and that it didn't come with any sides. I'll likely come back to try another burger in the future - there were a lot of great options!

The overall atmosphere is great for the area, the drink is strong enough considering it's a Long Island iced tea. The only drawback is that one drink was $21! $21! Ok, I understand business costs and whatnot, but come on, at least try to make me feel good about being bent over. By far the most expensive drink I've gotten since visiting from Los Angeles and not that I'm underwhelmed, but it could have been at least $7 less. My literal only issue is the price, but other than that, amazing place. The atmosphere is warm, music is great, had the Mets game playing in the back. As expensive as that Long Island was, I'd definitely come back here when I'm in Brooklyn again.

Loved this place. Very friendly and inviting. Food was awesome- especially the burgers fries and nachos.

Really wanting a burger but lower carbs we came here on a weekday. It wasn't busy but we had just made happy hour. It being a bar there was no problem finding a seat and seeing a game (if that's your style). The tap selections were good and my burger was chargrilled to perfection. Everyone in my party can vouch for a delicious meal.

Friendly waitress greeted us and sat us immediately. Menu's came out and they recommended a pizza and burger. We agreed and ordered. Place started to pick up and get busy immediately after we ordered. Food came out pretty quickly. We each had a burger. Not a lot of options on the menu but we all tried the emily burger. It was worth it. Think, juicy and with an amazingly unique taste. The ingredients were high quality, the burger cooked to perfection. The table also split the modern pizza (I think). Not sure what to expect from this one but turns out it was perfect, unique and delicious. The cheese taste really shined through. Overall, we were super happy with the food here. Seating is right behind the counters and they had tables and old school booths for the tables. Great spot and I can see why they've been around for so long.

Both restaurants have been in business for well over half a century with well-deserved accolades. Despite having grown up in Brooklyn, I hadn't been to either before this year. I read reviews and actually asked ChatGPT what to order at R-N-R. We went with its suggestion: medium roast beef with cheese, onion rings, root beer and lemonade. My sandwich was more well-done than requested. They don't offer 'rare'. The few bites with red meat were infinitely better than the rest of the sandwich. The roll, as everyone points out, is baked in house. Though light and puffy, it didn't outweigh overdone beef. Onion rings were great, root beer average, and lemonade -- per my husband who loves lemonade -- excellent. While I wouldn't balk about returning, my vote goes to Brennan and Carr, though truly, when cooked as requested there is no substantial difference. If you take the train, get off at Sheepshead Bay Road and head south. Turn left at Emmons Avenue and keep walking. Twenty minutes all told.

I ordered: * Truffle Maker ($11.59) * Truffle Parmesan Fries ($6.50) * Chicken Bites with BBQ sauce ($8.05) * Large Yuzu Honey Lemonade ($4.00) Truffle maker was pretty good and I was glad I was able to remove the caramelized onions and truffle aioli (I'm picky). The bun is soft and sweet and the burger has a good amount of sautéed mushrooms. Truffle Parmesan fries were pretty standard, but still very good. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave. Texture was reminiscent of Taiwanese popcorn chicken, nicely seasoned. Overall had a pleasant experience, I definitely want to return and try the rest of their menu.

Not all restaurants have restrooms that are made available to customers. That is an A+ in my book. Food 10/10 I ordered Hous Burger (hold the onions. Don't at me) it was pretty good. The taste of their burgers is different from most of the burger places I have tried before. I have also ordered Yuzu Honey Lemonade. I was trying to taste the honey in the lemonade. I guess I was expecting too much. The drink was refreshing. I may try the Matcha Yuzu Lemonade next. I met a gentleman who goes by the name Ten P aka 10pushups on IG. He recommended that I try his cola shake. That is what I got, plus the whipped cream. I was honestly looking for the taste of Coca-Cola because Cola is in the name. Regardless of what I expected, the shake was pretty good. I am not a shake person, so when he asked me to try it, I made an exception. Overall: I plan on coming back to Bun Haus. This was good eats.

I prefer what they call a "knife and fork job" where the sandwich, the meat the bread is all dunked and comes out in a river of au jus. We both went with rare roast beef, cheese and onions. T asked for his double-dipped in gravy. Yum! Short of five stars, but yum nonetheless. We ordered two unhealthy sides which added to the decadence of our lunch: corn fritters and onion rings. If you only get one, go with the fritters. The place is busy.
