    Excellent Denver Omelet

This had become a go-to stop on trips to Oregon. I will say that the food has been hit and miss. My last visit was definitely a hit. Much better service and food compared to my visit a year ago. For dinner i went with clam chowder that is only available on Fridays. It was very good with big chunks of veggies. It cam with two breadsticks that looked very familiar to Olive Garden breadsticks. Great for dunking in the chowder. Also ordered a Manhattan and it was amazing. Upgraded from well to Maker's. Worth the upcharge. Bread was much better than last year. Got the Denver omelet. I double checked that they had bell peppers (they didn't last year but tried charging me for it). It was great. I did order my hashbrowns extra crispy, and the waitress apologized when she put down my plate saying she didn't think they were crispy enough. I didn't send it back, less carbs I guess. The Hawaiian mimosa is also very good!

We had a great meal. Steak was cooked perfectly and salad was fresh! View was spectacular of the Columbia River! A bonus was that they had Barley Brown's Pallet Jack IPA on tap! Wait staff was friendly and very attentive.

Lunch menu. Note call ahead if you're hankering the Elk burger as this visit their out.

8 m9nths ago we stopped had elk burger, which was reason to stop again. Unfortunately no elk today, service was even slower today. Overall a real disappointment. When their on mark great, but obviously a hit and miss dining experience.

First time visit, found on Yelp. Would have never known it was here, and honestly how would a car passing by at 70mph know about it? Located in a hotel but quite the nice seating area and view of the Columbia river. Very nice hostess + waitress crushing life, let us know the wait time (for food) was kinda long. However, is in no hurry said, "fine with us" Fish tacos for me and cob salad for my lady. We shared the Buffalo cauliflower bits. 5 's for the food + staff who made the experience pleasant and honestly the wait was not even noticeable.

I'm not sure what the business strategy is here now. Our latest vacation here - on Independence Day weekend - they were either closed and/or limited hours. We are regulars several times a year. Yes- we vacation in Boardman!! While the hotel was filled to capacity, service - including food was a literal ghost town. The place used to be a resort like experience on holidays. They've installed all those new little homes they call "cabins" - yet have dialed back the restaurant. They were closed on the 4th. Sunday, they only had 4-8pm "appetizers" & alcohol. Not even any meat available for a salad. Their famous tots- unavailable. They could nail it if they wanted to. So much potential. But if management is happy just focusing on the rooms & views - then it shall remain more like a hotel and less like a resort. We will keep coming here. But will likely eat at other places while in the area - since it is limited. I feel bad for the 2 employees who were running their a$$ off to whip up bags and bags of previously frozen apps to all the people who kept coming in - only to be disappointed and express their disbelief in what has happened here.

French toast with coconut orange marmalade. VERY GOOD!

We came in for Sunday brunch. All of our food was of great quality. The servers were attentive and nice. Beautiful view of the river. My only complaint would be that the Sunday brunch menu is limited. But that being said it made us order the French toast which was to die for!

I look it the reviews, and the photos, and she said yasss please. Mom too. I got to tell you I got a lot of pizza reviews from the Canadian border to the California border and everywhere in between, all up and down 1-5 and across I-84. This is in my top 5. The photos I saw show this humongous crust and I thought I'd be giving it mostly to my three dogs we were traveling with. Nope. Nice and thin. Great chew. Folded like the ones I get in NYC. Really fresh ingredients. Super friendly staff. Don't know how I missed his place over the many years I took this route but that won't be the case going forward. Boardman?? There's not a lot there but you got to try the pizzas at this place. They got one for every taste. The side salad was incredible with totally fresh ingredients and cashews. Where do you get cashews on a salad? BURNT FIELD, that's where. I wish they were in Portland. I buy a pizza a week for sure.

When we arrived, we were informed that they did not actually sell coffee any longer. Despite being disappointed, my husband decided to grab a beer and I ordered a seltzer. The space itself was simple with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Apparently they are known for their pizza, but we had just eaten lunch not too long prior and were not hungry. I don't know if we would ever find ourselves in this area of Oregon again but if we did, we might come back to try the pizza.
