Steve and Laura used to own the fish house but have recently opened the Bell! They are awesome and they have really brought the spirit of Ireland and Norwhich to Downtown Clermont! The fact that they have Newcastle brown ale makes me a believe but they have so many great options AND they carry food too. Fancy a sausage roll? Finally the decor makes you feel like you aren't in Clermont anymore. Sooo do yourself a favor and get on to the Bell!

Duuuude!!! How awesome is it that downtown Clermont has an official Irish pub. I mean, as soon as you walk in you're transported to Dublin. And the everyone's so friendly. However, let's get to the good stuff - order a Black and Tan, and a Purple Nasty you won't regret it. Take a gander at expertise in the pour. Well played Bell, well played. I'll be back for sure.

Great place! Very welcoming and such a nice atmosphere. We ordered a few Wrexham beers, some Scotch Eggs & Sausage Rolls. All were delicious! Service was very good too!

Finally got to the Bell. What an awesome spot. Makes you feel like you have stepped on a plane and landed in England. The staff was great! They were helpful, informative, and made great suggestions. We had a Scotch egg and it was delicious. Even got a history lesson of why it's a Scotch egg and how it made it's debut in Yorkshire England. If you have not been I highly suggest you check it out. It is 21+ so send the kids to get boba or comic controllers across the street and take a moment for yourself.

Love the vibe! A place to meet friends. Time to chat. Forget all the sports bar tv's this place is for enjoying other people. A community gathering place. Great beer & the best bartenders anywhere. You'll love everything about this place

English pub that is sooo great. Old speckled hen on draft is great. They also have a dart board and a tv. They have a great ambiance for hanging out and talking with friends. Very nice bartenders and reasonable prices. Very exciting to get this new place downtown Clermont and absolutely amazing addition!

Such a great addition to the Clermont scene! Great feeling from the moment you step in; dimly lit yet well decorated interior transports you from the bright sunny outside to a warm ambience. Pretty nice beer selection, including Guinness and Old Speckled Hen served on nitrous. But, I would like to see more English beers on tap.; perhaps a Fullers ESB and Newcastle Brown. I didn't try any food this visit, but the menu, although limited, does seem to offer authentic dishes.

Comfy, cozy, friendly, and full of British decor! This Pub is complete with a line of Samuel Smith (not Samuel Adams) beer, a dart board, pickled eggs, Scotch Eggs, Sausage Pretzels, and Guinness treats! Looking for that Speckled Hen, Smithwick's, Harp, and more like it? You'll find it here. The owner and his wife are amazing people. The gentleman was kind enough to give us a little history of the pub. Ask, you'll be pleasantly surprised where the signature Bell came from. They also host various soccer and sports games on their tvs for special meet ups. Food wise, they are off to a great start. Only a few weeks new and they have a solid scotch egg. I love scotch eggs! My only criticism are the prices BUT tbf, that's inflation for you, and at least the quality is really good. Would I go back? Of course! It's only a few minutes from my home in Clermont and it's an ideal spot for decompressing and enjoying something that makes you feel like elsewhere. Good company, great beer, can't go wrong with The Bell. TIP: Visit their FB page for sport viewing updates at their pub if you wanna catch the game, enjoy a pint.

As a result, 3 of us got the food, and the other 3 had tonpack them to go. Convention goers do not have much time for lunch. For that, I should have taken 2 stars away, but Leah saved the day. She brought us the checks ahead. I couldn't take any food photos, so I shared a group photo taken by Leah while waiting for the food.

Got our table exactly 20 minutes after checking in, the non talkative hostess took us to our table. Waiter very nice. The table we sat at was in a very warm section, our party sat down and uh didn't offer us additional water the entire time we were there. It was hot and I was thirsty and a refill would have been nice. Food was really good, I had a ruben sandwich lots of flavor. Which made up for the ambiance not sure what was going on but I have been to this place many times and never had a bad experience until now. I think our waiter was overloaded with tables but was super nice.

Well that all changed over the years as more places opened and competition got stiffer. When the original owner, Derelict Dave, sold to Luis & Gio a few years ago the place got going again. But when the "Bridges Brothers" bought the place it was awful timing as decades of neglect to the plumbing and equipment made the place an Inspection review nightmare! They pumped some money into revamping the motif of the place but all they did was just raise prices it seemed. The quality and choices of food went downhill and the staff was subpar. The initial training of the employees was minimal and it showed in the operational inefficiency. 10 months after opening they bite the bullet and close the doors to stop the hemorrhaging of cash. Another big problem is the landlord is notoriously, cheap, and impossible to deal with so good luck to anyone else who tries to lease out that spot as they will pay through the nose with a zero Tennant improvement!
