Steve and Laura used to own the fish house but have recently opened the Bell! They are awesome and they have really brought the spirit of Ireland and Norwhich to Downtown Clermont! The fact that they have Newcastle brown ale makes me a believe but they have so many great options AND they carry food too. Fancy a sausage roll? Walked in after a morning at the beach and meandering through the farmers market. Great place to relax and get a refreshment or three. Bartender was super pleasant and offered some great beers that paired well with my initial order. I'm a fan of the Chocolate Stout & Oatmeal Stout, from Samual Smith, they were quite tasty. Give em a go. Also, atmosphere is super cozy with plenty of seating style and choice of lounging. read more

Finally got to the Bell. What an awesome spot. Makes you feel like you have stepped on a plane and landed in England. The staff was great! They were helpful, informative, and made great suggestions. We had a Scotch egg and it was delicious. Even got a history lesson of why it's a Scotch egg and how it made it's debut in Yorkshire England. If you have not been I highly suggest you check it out. It is 21+ so send the kids to get boba or comic controllers across the street and take a moment for yourself. read more

Such a great addition to the Clermont scene! Great feeling from the moment you step in; dimly lit yet well decorated interior transports you from the bright sunny outside to a warm ambience. Pretty nice beer selection, including Guinness and Old Speckled Hen served on nitrous. But, I would like to see more English beers on tap.; perhaps a Fullers ESB and Newcastle Brown. I didn't try any food this visit, but the menu, although limited, does seem to offer authentic dishes. read more

If all you want is a drink or a pint, FINE. If you want food, buy a McDonald's Fish Sandwich. (Yipes!) After working 4-yrs in Ireland and Wales, we went to pubs weekly. We visited REAL Pubs, and loved Pat Cohan's in Cong. THE BELL in Clermont was vastly disappointing and seriously lacking. . . . No Bangers & Mash . . . No Shepard's Pie . . . No Irish Stew . . . No Fish & Chips Really(?) . . . A Scotch Egg or Sausage for lunch? They do not have a "Limited Menu", they have 4-5 items. Drinks are fine and owners pleasant. Comfy, cozy, friendly, and full of British decor! This Pub is complete with a line of Samuel Smith (not Samuel Adams) beer, a dart board, pickled eggs, Scotch Eggs, Sausage Pretzels, and Guinness treats! Looking for that Speckled Hen, Smithwick's, Harp, and more like it? You'll find it here. The owner and his wife are amazing people. The gentleman was kind enough to give us a little history of the pub. Ask, you'll be pleasantly surprised where the signature Bell came from. They also host various soccer and sports games on their tvs for special meet ups. Food wise, they are off to a great start. Only a few weeks new and they have a solid scotch egg. I love scotch eggs! My only criticism are the prices BUT tbf, that's inflation for you, and at least the quality is really good. Would I go back? Of course! It's only a few minutes from my home in Clermont and it's an ideal spot for decompressing and enjoying something that makes you feel like elsewhere. Good company, great beer, can't go wrong with The Bell. TIP: Visit their FB page for sport viewing updates at their pub if you wanna catch the game, enjoy a pint. read more

We had a couple of beers before dinner. The bartending staff was super friendly and thanked us multiple times for coming in. There were a lot of dogs, which was a bit odd but could have been just the night we were there. read more

A nice new and very true to an English pub! Sit anywhere you'd like, but order from the bar. Nice selection of draft beers. We had the opportunity to meet both of the owners and learned how The Bell became to be here in Clermont. Great friendly service with decor that makes me feel like I'm in an English Pub. This Pub looks and feels like you are in pub in a small English village . The owner was behind the bar, pulling the beer tabs and was friendly and fun to talk to . Excellent British Pub! Various beers on tap and in bottles from England, Scotland, Germany and other European countries are available. A small menu of food is available and expanding. All selections are delicious. Sports on the TV, darts and outdoor seating are available. Look for the Bell hanging by the bar brought over from the original Bell Pub in England.
