I really wanted to like this shop. Unfortunately I took in my carbon fat bike to have a new fork…read moreinstalled. They didn't check the post height on the caliper mount, and the posts were taller on the new fork than the original fork. Just needed to use one less spacer - but he didnt check anything. The brake failed on my very first ride and its a miracle i wasn't really seriously hurt. They also tried to remove the air gap cap with a pair of pliers rather than a socket, so its scratched like crazy. He never pointed it out to me when i picked it up and I happened to catch it when loading the bike in my truck. "oh yea, i meant to tell you about that" - sure you did. So much for my new $800 front fork. He took down the fork info and promised to send me a replacement cap. I received the wrong cap - now I have to chase him down for the correct part. He might have some good deals on new bikes, but a bicycle mechanic he is NOT.

This Tuesday, I decided to get some work done on the computer. Then I went to go get my bike fixed--not my motorcycle, an actual bicycle--and I'm excited because I stopped into the shop and they fixed my bicycle tire right away, and in less than 10 minutes. I was in and out at a fair and reasonable price. It felt great. It was short and sweet and right to the point. The guy asked me if I should get air in my tire and he did it right there on the spot.
