The food at this joint is a hidden gem! Their pasta is amazing! Pizza is on point. We usually order a medium pizza, small salad which is enough for two people, and ziti or lasagna. The red marinara with or without meat is soooo good. Love that it isn't acidic like is many other places. It's buttery and velvety with perfect balance. I drive by this place every day and we finally decided to try them out. We ordered take-out and will say that the whole process was very easy. The guy who answered was friendly and informed us that our order would be done is about 25 minutes. We ordered a meat calzone, garlic knots (a must try) and Margherita pizza. First, the garlic knots are the best I've ever had. I can see myself ordering that for a snack in the near future haha the Margherita pizza was delicious as well. The Ziti was good but very lacking in sauce, if it wasn't for a light red color I would say it didn't have any. We added our own sauce and it ended up being ok. I work close to this Two Brothers from Italy located 986 E. Vista Way. I was hungry and wanted a quick bite. I called to find out if there were any specials. I talked to Brian, and he was helpful. He said he would have the food ready for pick up at 12 pm. I walked and I said hello. The older man was making a pizza, and the younger guy was near the oven. I was told by both of them we will help you soon. I saw two cars pull up to come inside the restaurant. The younger guy comes out and has a cup in his hand. I let him know I was the customer called about the 2 slices deal. He pointed to my pizza on the other side of the counter. He went to charge me and said $21.00 . I hardly heard him and asked him to repeat it. He said $21.00 . I said for 2 slices of pizza and a soda? He corrected himself and said it's $8.99. I was going to tip, but I thought to myself that I'm not feeling this customer service. I decided to eat here and find a place. I watched others who were coming inside the place and was provided with excellent customer service. I'm not sure if it was my uniform or me, but I didn't feel welcome. The pizza was not bad. We moved to Vista & decided to try this restaurant because it's nearby. Glad we did. Calzone (small) is huge and very good and their 1/2 grinder is almost full size anywhere else. We tried the eggplant grinder and it also was very good. Sauce is tasty and does not taste like jarred sauce like some do. The eggplant seemed to be fresh fried to order. Their sandwiches are the bomb. My husband will sometimes get a large which we share and he has a leftover piece for the next day. On our last visit we got a Calzone, which was as equally yummy and packed full. We shared that and still had leftovers. The guys working at the counter are always really friendly. The young kids they have working here are incompetent and disrespectful! We went there on 7/30/23 and called in a simple order of breadsticks. When we picked them up, they gave us garlic bread instead. When we went back in to let them know they gave us the wrong thing, they denied it and said we had to pay for an extra order of bread sticks and were very rude to us. Their customer service was horrible and I am surprised they didn't want to help us at all. Not only did they give us the wrong order, but the garlic bread they did give us was burnt. At the end of the day it's not about the breadsticks or the burnt garlic bread. its about the level of respect and customer service! For what it is it's not bad, the slices are decent, they have cannolis and a self serve soda fountain. The location isn't that bad they have several tables outside to enjoy your food. Inside is a little tight but one of my favorite things is that they have the soda fountain. I hate when any restaurant won't give you a free refill like Pedro's in Oceanside. The employees are pretty cool, helpful and will check to see if you're enjoying your food. I only had the slices and the cannolis so I can't speak on anything else. I once came around 8:50 but they were closing at 9 Sierra was so nice to help me and she didn't even rush or complain about me. So I had a full bar and quite a few HUNGRY people. I had heard about Two Brothers 28" huge pizza for $27.00. I ordered two one night. One 1/2 cheese and 1/2 cheese and jalapeneo. The other all pepperoni. Everyone raved about the pizza and wanted to know where I ordered it from! It was so huge that I even had leftovers! The next time I only ordered one. I put on gloves (food handling) and put pizza on plates and passed it out to everyone. So people didn't take 2-4 pizza's! Everyone that wanted one got a slice and a few people had 2nds! As a long time repeat customer of this store, it's sad to come to the point where we are ready to go anywhere else in town after a complete customer service failure. We ordered 2 pizzas by phone, picked them up and upon arrival at home found that one of them was a split with toppings we did not order. That's not the problem, It was a Friday night at a busy time, and it's understandable that a mix-up can occur. The problem was that when we called, thinking the restaurant would like to know that it was likely that two orders got mixed so they could try to avoid giving the other customer an unwanted pizza, they were entirely unhelpful, unwilling to try to make things right, and unwilling or unable even to try to understand the problem. The server who took our call placed us on hold multiple times, was unable to understand that the pizza we received (Split with additional unusual toppings we did not order) was not what we ordered (Two meat toppings, no split). and was totally indifferent to the customer service issue that they did not deliver to us the product we ordered. When we asked if they could start a pizza according to our order, they grudgingly said it would take over an hour to be ready. When asked to refund the price of the half of our order that we did not get, they refused. So, a totally fixable small customer service issue was bungled into a loss of a loyal customer, and since it seems unlikely that the worker we talked to would communicate about the issue to their management, we felt the need to give our feedback through this review. read more
