Love Best Pizza and Brew. Didn't have the best experience tonight. Ordered a couple of their delicious Wagu bacon cheeseburgers. On a previous visit a couple of months ago, I requested medium and my burger was very well-done. It was still good, and I'm not a guy who sends his food back. Tonight I let the person at the register taking my order about last time, and to let the chef know that I would really like the burgers medium this time. Burgers arrived well done again. I mean, if that's store policy like In-N-Out is now, I get it, but let me know that. The truffle fries and regular fries that came with the other burger were fantastic as always. I wish I didn't have to go back to the register to pick up salt packets but that's not a big deal really. I let the young lady at the register know that the burgers were well done, again. . . She apologized and I just told her that it was ok. I'm not making anyone cook me a new burger. Once again, still good. Just not what I asked for. I also ordered a beer and the person at the register gave me the number placard and told me that she would bring my beer out. After seeing it set at the bar where the drinks come out for a few minutes, I just went and picked it up. The young man who brought our food seemed more interested in talking to the female employees than checking on customers, but I was 20 years old once too. We did get there kind of late and left a little after closing time. Everyone was busy checking their phones. . . We'll be back. Pizza is always great. Burgers are usually surprisingly excellent for a Pizza place too. I just wish everyone was a bit more on point. read more

My favorite thing about best pizza and brew is that you can buy slices. That gives you the opportunity to try a few different things. They have so many options for slices. They do thin crust, which is also my favorite. But you can order different types of crust if you want on a full pizza pie. Of course, they have an excellent selection of beer. This is a good size pizza place with seating indoors and on an outdoor patio. The parking lot is a good size. There is also street parking. The prices for the slices are decent. We had salad and two pizzas, The Works. This location has a huge bar and plenty of indoor seating. They have a great energy during sports games and plenty of tvs to watch. The service was quick and kind. I also appreciated how clean this location is given how busy it can get. I would definitely recommend stopping by this location the next time you are in Vista! read more

Well came back and did pizza by the slice. This time we sat decided to do by the slice after ordering a couple and decided we wanted to sit and order also some drinks wings and a salad and make a full lunch/dinner date out of it. Oddly enough our server was the same guy who recommended it to me who I randomly met playing basketball with. He was great at his job too. I kept getting his name wrong but Elijah was great to be served by. How random is that and funny. He was totally professional and fast and great. I'm a big fan of their white pies and anything with a balsamic drizzle, and the margherita is always a safe win. The Caesar salad pairs perfectly, and the garlic knots... honestly addictive. Only downside there is you'll wish you had more--4 doesn't feel like enough for how fast they disappear. The staff is a younger, upbeat crew and always helpful when you interact with them--just a heads up, it can be tough to flag someone down when they're moving around. Best move is to go straight to the counter if you need something. The vibe is lively and modern--definitely more of a "happening" bar/restaurant energy. Plenty of seating, a great outdoor area, and a big firepit that makes it a solid hang spot. Only knock is occasional construction outside lately, but it hasn't stopped me from coming back. Value-wise, their combos are actually really solid and make for a great meal. This is one of those places I go to regularly, and it holds up every time. Best for: pretty much any occasion--just expect it to get loud during peak hours, and show up early if you want to avoid a line out the door. Awesome place to go to for some pizzas and beer. We came around Saturday noon for lunch. It was a little past opening but got busy quite fast. Plenty of seating though, inside, covered patio, uncovered patio and bar seating. We got some beers, Caesar salad and the meat lovers smaller size. The beers refreshing, even got hard kombucha. The Caesar salad was fresh and good. And the meat lovers pizza was good, it wasn't salty. But the small size will only feed 2, not overly full, but just enough. There's a bigger size. They have a nice outdoor seating area, and the staff was kind enough to turn on the fire pits when it started to get chilly, which made it even more comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful, which added to the great experience. The pizza was delicious! Just a tip: if it's a cool day, enjoy your pizza quickly since it can cool off fast, but even then, it's still tasty. We also tried the garlic knots, which were fantastic. Parking lot is available but a bit confusing looking for the lot since one of the lots next to the building belongs to the neighboring business. Dog friendly with plenty of outdoor seating in sun or shade. We brought a blanket for our dog which helped because the gravel between the pavers by some of the picnic tables are hard on little canine elbows and legs. I tried the Best White which had fresh spinach. If you're a white pizza fan, this is a good one. Our kid had a basic pepperoni which was surprisingly good to me because the oil from the pepperoni caused the thin layer of cheese to crisp up. The Special of the day in the case was Burrata Sausage Hot Honey and wow they are generous on the honey. I love sweet and savory mixed so this was perfect for me. Might be too sweet for others. Garlic knots were also excellent. The greasy goodness is only on the outside. Inside is chewy bread. Topped with some fresh parmesan, garlic and herbs. The BBQ wings (traditional, bone-in) had crisp skin, the perfect amount of sauce and were moist inside. I would order again. I'm going to do the 2 slices + soda deal again next time. read more
