Let me start by saying I freaking love pizza. But I also love good customer service which this place severely lacks. I wanted a slice and was told I couldn't add toppings. This is my other favorite pizza place in Miami! I don't think I can even articulate how damn good the pizza is. Picture this: After an evening of shopping girl tells boy: "hey, honey wanna try this pizza place in Kendall Town and Country I really love?" Boy: "Sure." Girl: "Have you ever been to Two Brothers? It's really good." Boy: "No, but ok." Boy orders pepperoni pizza pie... ... pizza comes out. Boy takes a bite of pizza. Boy: OH F*&K!!!! This is delicious!!!" nom nom nom Girl: "I know!" Boy then proceeds to eat 6 of the 8 slices and says "Do you think we should order another pie? I think I could eat another pie." True story. The location in Kendall is small. There's outside seating and two small tables inside. It's nothing fancy but don't let that deter you because the food, oh, the food! Two brothers (the actual restaurant on kendall drive and 137) is my favorite Italian place (specially on Thursdays, free wine night!!!!). This location, not as great. I want to like it, but ehhh. I've ordered at the window two times while shopping in area, and I did not enjoyed the pizza. Please, please, please, do try the other location. I think it makes a difference when you order the pizza to be made, versus having one of the pre made pizzas at this location, reason:pizza just doesn't taste as fresh and it tends to get a bit mushy. The owners of these two locations are amazing. The service is always great, and well.... if you are in the area of this location, you can always order a sandwich, I've heard those are great. I really like this place! They have a little service counter window where you can place your take order, or simply sit down and have a slice of pizza while you shop. This place is in Town n Country right next to the Shaq Fitness Center (not really a good spot to be with all the healthy people) but honestly, it was kind of busy and I can see why! $5 dollar minimum if paying with a debit card. However, the price on their items are about $3-$4. This forces you to purchase at least $6-$7 worth of food even if you're only stopping in for one slice of pizza. Their merchant agreement is % based. It doesn't matter how much they charge on a card, the feel is the same. E.g. charging $1 costs them .04 cents. Charging $5 costs them .20 cents. The $5 minimum is just an attempt to charge the consumer more in order to elevate profits. In summary, you should be able to just buy one slice of pizza, but the greed displayed by this business came up with an excuse in order to steal from their clients. read more

Two Brothers Pizza is absolutely delicious! I had some friends telling me it was the best pizza in Kendall, and being the pizza aficionado that I am I knew I had to try it out. Two Brothers already has my vote as a good pizza joint because it is not a chain. Sometimes we get lazy and go to a place that is well known and comfortable. But, I decided to step out of that comfort zone and try something different, and I am truly happy I did. My friends and I got a large half cheese, half ham pizza and it was delicious! It really is the best pizza I have tried in Kendall. The pizza has large New York style slices and they definitely hit the stop. We also got an order of breadsticks that were great as well. This place is garbage! After buying a extra large pizza for my family I was told buying a 2 liter of soda was not allowed. Only if I had to it go because they didn't want to give me cups for it. Why you might ask? Because they wanted to cram down my throat buying individual cups for everyone so they could make more money. Wow this place might as well have begged for money if they're hurting so bad for it. Not to mention they're food is WAY over priced for the quality of it. The staff obviously is less than mediocre in they're customer service. I buy the 2 liter of soda and I don't even know if I dealt with the manager or owner but they were insistent they didn't want to give me cups for the soda I had just bought from them!! For those of you who haven't been here, let me just give you an idea of what to expect as far as the setting. Despite the varied menu, it's not an actual sit-down restaurant to have a nice dinner with a date lol. I was so expecting to be the oddball out doing take-out and I thought I'd walk into everyone seated at tables topped with wine glasses, based on the review of the other location. Anyhow, it's just a hole-in-the-wall on the corner of a shopping plaza with enough room for a pizza oven and a couple employees inside, about 5 stools on one side on the opposite side of the counter, a window to order, and 1 or 2 tables on the sidewalk beyond that. I got to this place expecting the best because the reviews on yelp and everywhere else on the internet ranted and raved about this place. So...I got there with intentions to get the pizza margherita like one of the reviews I saw recommended since I know I love pizza margherita. Well, I didn't end up getting that because I saw a pizza with spinach and mushroom and I usually love that, so I got it. I forget what it was called, but it was arugula, spinach, mushroom, and sweet peppers. I hate to be the bearer of bad restaurant news, but that flavor mix was absolutely horrible!!! The ingredients were super fresh (spinach and arugula piled on fresh after pizza was baked) and all, but the arugula and spinach was incredibly bitter and the sweet peppers were sweet like sugar!! YUCK! It was so gross, I had to brush my teeth twice to get rid of the flavor. On top of all of that, a small pizza was $16 after tax, SIXTEEN!! Let's be real here, it's only flour, salt, yeast, a buck or two's worth in herbs and a sprinkle of very finely sliced mushrooms. I felt like such an idiot after I saw what I had paid for. I mean, it was smaller than a California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizza. Then, to top it all off, within minutes, the crush was complete mush...I promise you, total mush! In the beginning, the crust was actually one of the great assets because it was thin and crispy, instead of being thick and overwhelming like many chains. I really have no idea how on earth that crust would possibly hold up to meat...maybe the crust is different for meat pizzas, I did notice a thicker crust for at least one of the pizzas i saw. And by the way, within 10 minutes, the fresh spinach was slime, ick! I will say that because the ingredients were so super fresh and there was just enough sauce (no overwhelming thick tomato-y weirdness going on) I will definitely go back for the pizza margherita if I get a pizza craving again (once I get over my initial disgust from my completely bad choice of pizza flavors, of course). All I have to say is DO NOT get what I ordered and order a slice or two to avoid the overpriced pies! Overall, three for what I think the restaurant's potential is, maybe a 3.5 depending on the quality of the entrees, and 1 star for my first experience. This used to be my favorite pizza place. But it looks like the owners sold it and the new owners got rid of the old staff. Not sure if it was sold before or after the pandemic. New staff no hable ingles and their "internet is down" so you have to pay cash (clearly they have not contracted with a credit card processing company). When I got home I noticed the pizza was only half cut and the cheese and toppings fell right off the slice when picking one up. This is probably the best pizza I've had in Miami. The restaurant is very small inside and they have more tables outside. We ordered a pepperoni pizza pie at the window and took it to go since it was too hot to sit outside. We came home and enjoyed our pizza in air conditioning and it was delicious. You can share it with 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are. My husband and I were hungry so we ate the majority of the pie. We'll definitely be going back! read more

Unlike any other pizza joint that sales by the slice, these guys don't put the topping you want. If you want a slice you have to get it from what is already made and if there's is nothing made then just cheese. The pizza is thin and crispy kinda like NY style which is what I love but you aren't allowed to add toppings if you want just a slice you have to pick from what is already made which in all honesty kinda sucks you don't know how long that pizza has been sitting for... anyway the wings are delicious and subs are good too! Prices seem reasonable but the employees aren't the nicest and if you order at the window it's a pain because the line is a hot mess you don't know who's waiting or not. There are large cans of hunt's tomato ketchup on display, and guess what--the sauce tastes like ketchup. No hint of herbs or anything. Super bland. You can see empty boxes of grated Italian style cheese from Wisconsin in the back room by the bathroom. There are canned olives on display too. No fresh ingredients, and you can tell by the taste. I didn't bother with more than two bites. Frozen pizza is better. Also, the a bottle of pellegrino goes for $3.48. You can get a 12 pack at publix on sale for $9.99. read more
