This is one of the best indian food truck I have visited while here in Columbus. I was a bit hesitant to order due to the prices ($15 for a meal and $4 for a single slice of naan) but I still wanted to give it a shot. It was parked in the back of Antiques on High so you always need some good food to soak up your alcohol consumption. It was about a 25 minute wait when I ordered so we had the opportunity to have some great drinks inside. The chicken tika was amazing and the sauce was super smooth. The jasmine rice was cooked perfectly - super soft and delicious. The naan was a bit cold so I am not sure if it was sitting there for a bit waiting for the main meal to come out. We would definitely get more food from this spot as it was a notch above other types of indian food within columbus. Great job! read more

Ordered this a few months back via UberEats and was really excited to try it since I'm a huge fan of Indian food. Just to explain my fandom-- I used to try a new Indian place every week for a while back in the day, so I've tried a decent number of Indian restaurants around Columbus over the years. Anyway, we ordered the Saag Paneer and Lamb Rogan Josh and it was the saltiest Indian food we've ever had. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming that this was an anomalous incident, so I'm willing to try them again sometime. However, it definitely wasn't the best first impression. They' charge restaurant prices for less than food truck service and an awful plating presentation. They serve beef-- as an Indian kitchen? Furthermore, if I'm paying full restaurant prices for a meal I'd think that being served an actual plate with silverware would be a pest of the experience. My wife and I got to try this at 2 Tones Brewery last night. We both independently decided on the chicken cholle. I ordered the spice level at 6 (out of 6) just to see what kind of damage they were capable of. My wife went with 2. We also got two pieces of garlic naan. Mine was definitely hot, but still edible. The taste under the spice was great and I managed to sneak a couple bites from my wife's plate and it was also delicious. The naan bread was just as good and also comforted me through the heat. While the prices seemed high upon order, both came with generous portions and a nice ratio of sauce to rice. Definitely look forward to running into them back at 2 Tones next time. read more

Maybe We had the bad batch at this particular food truck from comfest but our curry was very watery. They clearly diluted their curry to make more. Not gonna lie- probably one of the worst curry I had in long time. Even their naan was terrible- naans from trader joes or kroegers are 10 times better. read more

I visited this food truck last week and it was great! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with a couple orders of Naan. I should have made it a little spicier, but I got it at a 2 since I'm usually conservative on my first time to new Indian places. The portion size was adequate the price was reasonable. The chicken was well cooked and the sauce was divine. It was a very cold, rainy day so I was able to chat much with the owners, but they seemed very reasonable and even let me sit in my car and they delivered my food to me when it was ready. I will for sure be back again!While I absolutely hate the BP they park at for numerous reasons, I would highly recommend people check this place out. read more

We had the Chicken Tikka Masala at level 4 spice and I can honestly say that they do not lower the spice for American spice levels. It was a great spice and I appreciate that they are authentic. The entree was really good and the rice was well cooked. I liked the naan but it tasted microwaved. Price wise, entrees are $13-14 so a little high for food truck prices. I ordered last night for the first time. I really liked the fusion concept. The flavors were very good even though I didn't go spicy because of my kids. The pizza had great flavor unfortunately the dough seemed like it was a frozen brand you can pick up at your local grocery store. The plain Naan seems like it was made the same way. If they made traditional Naan (see Khaab) and used it as their pizza crust, I think you have a very unique and good pizza. I really liked the burrito and lamb dish. I will try again as the flavors are really good and unique. With that said, it's a little pricey for what you get. read more

The men running it were super nice & even brought my food to me inside the bar because it took about 15 mins for them to make. Prices and servings are about the same as a sit down place. This place is great. I saw it on my way up Neil and went back to try it. It was so good I couldn't stop eating my food. Amit and Raj were very friendly and my food was delicious and hot. I got the chicken tikka masala at spice level 2 (out of 6) and I'll definitely be coming back to get more. The spice level was perfect. Just spicier than mild, and not spicy enough to burn. I had their Chicken Tikka Masala, which (at spiciness level 6) had exactly the right amount of heat for the casual enjoyment of a spice fanatic, and a cup of their chai tea, which was fantastic. I was apparently one of their first customers, so they didn't have their Naan production up and running yet, but if their Chicken Tikka Masala is anything to go by, it'll be delicious. I returned today. Prices are higher, and they're npw serving in styrofoam plates. Skip the naan. The food itself is still good, but the naan is the pre-packaged frozen kind (despite the truck saying "fresh naan made on site"). 0 stars for the bread, 4 stars for the food. My chicken chole was more like chicken makhni with chickpeas in it than anything else. It was pleasantly spicy! read more

We're lucky in Columbus to have a pretty decent selection of Indian food options, and while I've always been pleased with them, I think Two Fatt Indians is my new favorite. I know some of y'all might be skeptical about the quality of the food coming from a truck, but you need to put that aside and head on over. What they really excel at is flavor. Every bite was on point without a hint of blandness in sight. I got the chicken vindaloo, which is usually my go-to, and I got a 5 on their 6 point scale. The food was both delicious and filling. The accompanying rice was also well-prepared. And if you're someone, like me, who loves heat, they really mean it here. I'm probably going to get the 6 next time (because I'm curious), but the 5 was really well-balanced in my opinion. Also, the customer service was excellent. This is the best Food truck food I have ever had. The rice was perfect, and the naan was also very good. I really had no clue what to order so I just picked the first thing on the menu.... This may be the best surprise of 2020. Went there on a rainy Wednesday night in late December and tried 4 different chicken entrees. All were excellent - flavorful, smooth and consistent. The chicken meat really stood out - well cooked chunks of breast meat vs. the thin, dry slices we've been getting in other restaurants. The Chicken Saag was unique to us and really delightful flavor. Portions were good sized - enough for a lunch the next day. All served hot with plenty of well cooked rice. We've been searching ever since the old Taj Mahal and are grateful to find a place with similar tasty food. We'll definitely be back. A lot. read more

They can be hard to track down (go to their FB page, it's the most consistent place to find their location!) BUT it is worth it!!! Tikka masala is one of my favorite dishes & they nail it better than any other place I've been. Prices are affordable, naan is delicious, and they are super nice. Stopped by on a very rainy day as I had passed it earlier in the day and already had my mind set on Indian food. So this is my problem with ordering Indian food ala carte. There are Indian buffets EVERYWHERE so when I order ala carte I feel like I'm throwing money away. There were no prices on the menu of this food truck and I didn't ask. I would have ordered anyway but at the end of the day it seemed a little pricey. I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo and a piece of the regular naan. They must have been out of the garlic naan. Total price 14.95. The portion was pretty good size but nothing huge. It was good although I always wonder if they take the spice down a notch because I'm not Indian and they assume I don't really mean SPICEY. I would have liked it spicier. Who knew tastes so big could come from a truck so small. They've taken up residence in the BP parking lot. They are the closest,best food for anyone near the Thurber community. I've been to 5 Indian restaurants around the city, and the food out of this truck stacks up to any of them. Add on a good size portion, charm, and the friendliest service you can imagine and you get Two Fatt Indians. I've tried the masala, vindaloo, saag, and chole. I'd get any of them again. They gave it a good kick at a 4 of 6 spice level. Their naan is also a bit thicker than most, and oh so good. If they ask, "Would you like to try the lassi?" Clarify if they're asking whether you want to add it to your order. The mango lassi is good, but I'm glad I clarified - at first I thought they were offering me a free sample (which they actually did the 2nd time I went). Visit them and support local food! Summary: Best Indian in Columbus. The Deets: I have been meaning to go here for some time. I saw the truck while driving and pulled some action movie chase scene moves to pull over. Well worth it. We ordered the vegan curry, the chicken biryani, some naan, and the lassis. All were delicious! The curry tasted great even a day or two later. The rice was perfect. So I happened upon this truck while driving down Neil Ave one day. It's in the parking lot of the BP gas station near 670. Indian food is one of my favorites (though I'd never had it from a food truck) so I had to try it. The two guys that run this truck used to be chefs at Aab, so if you've ever had Aab then you already know they are thebomb.com I had saag paneer (one of my favorites) and my friend had chicken tikka masala (which I tasted) and they were both excellent, plus the portions were generous. I was excited to see that this truck existed! The owners greeted us right away and informed us of the specials. I got naan and the chicken tiki masala (spice level 1 out of 6). My wife got the chicken vindaloo (spice level 5 out of 6). We both love what we had! Best Indian food of my life. My wife loves spicy food and said the 5 was good, and that she's interested in the 6. My mild level 1 still had a nice heat to it. We were given one container of rice for both entrees but it is plenty! They do take card payments. Sorry no pics, ate it too fast. Excellent food. Amit personally crafted our dishes right on the spot. He took the ingredients we were interested in and matched them up a sauce we wanted. He even gave us a preview taste to make sure the spice levels were right. Walking it over to Goodale to eat beats any restaurant experience we could have had. Goat Tiki Masala with Naan....get it! After passing by for months, we finally stopped. The goat meat was excellent. No fat or grizzel. No bones. Large chunks. The sauce was traditional. Warning. I asked if their spiciness levels were "Columbus levels of hot" or "true hot." they said Columbus. It was not. But, since I enjoyed it at home, I enjoyed the meal with a glass of milk. I got the mango chicken and it was perfectly spiced (I typically don't get Indian food because of the heat and I am a baby) but this was not spicy at all in the best way (I got spice level 1 but that's typically still too spicy for me ).
