Ariane is a kind & trustworthy find for our family. She's been walking our two pups for over a year now. The dogs love her - even our little guy, who can be a snappy, Grumpy Gus likes her. Our second dog had to leave the group for a few months because of limping and leg pain. Ariane saved a space for her & made every effort to adapt to her after she returned a tri-paw from surgery. Goldie runs around with the rest of the pack, and Ariane takes care that she doesn't overdo it. We also get pics of our pups, which is an added bonus. We love Ariane! read more

Ariane - Two Feet and Four Paws. Ariane has been caring for our dog Barkley for over 6 years. Ariane helped us train Barkley when he was a pup and she has been 100% dependable and reliable. We used her 5 days a week and we also board Barkley with her when we take off for vacation. Their is NO ONE we trust more than Ariane with the care of our beloved boy. Ariane is attentive, energetic, and consistent with gentle discipline. But more importantly, Ariane is the only other person that Heidi will run to with tail wagging. Ariane began by walking Sasha and Heidi, my mother-daughter pair of elderly weimaraners and waited patiently as 14 year old Sasha wobbled along. Well now it is just Heidi and Ariane has helped not only to bring her out of her shell but also helped me to cope with her loneliness when she is at home, even buying her puzzle toys to keep her busy and coming up with ever more elaborate ways to keep her calm. She is punctual, honest, nice to deal with, fairly priced and is (of course) great with dogs. She takes our dog (who is mid-sized can be shy) for long group walks and even boards her we are out of town. I can't say enough about Ariane. She has been so great to work with and we always feel so comfortable leaving our dog, Jelly with her. We came in contact with Ariane as we were not happy with our old dog walker. Funny enough, we ended up seeing how much fun Ariane was having with her group of dogs at the park, and knew that she would be a perfect fit for Jelly. Finding a good dog walker is very rare, and I have to say that Ariane trumps every dog walker I have ever come in contact with. Immediately, we have noticed a change in behavior, better play with other dogs, and most important, our dog's recall has significantly improved. We owe this all to Ariane. I cannot say enough good things about Ariane. She is a one-man band so you know who you are getting at the same time everything day. Critical for my dogs sensitive routine! She manages behavioral issues accordingly and professionally and is always available to help when we are away with work or vacation. She is exceptionally flexible, kind, thoughtful, fun and has been an integral part of our dogs and children's development around dogs. We are moving to Oregan and desperate to take her with us. I honestly can't believe there are only 8 other reviews on here as of this post! Ariane is absolutely amazing and takes such good care of our little female pointer, Pickles. Ariane works with her each day, as wells as any other special needs dogs that she takes care of, the entire time they are on a walk. (I know this first hand as she was kind enough let me join her so I can see how she works with our little girl who has fear issues with other dogs she doesn't know.) Having been a dog owner in SF for just under 8 months, I have seen so many dog walkers mindlessly herding their group while chatting with other dog walkers, smoking or glued to their iPhone. Ariane does none of that and is engaged with each dog the whole time. We also boarded Pickles with Ariane for a week and she graciously sent us updates and pictures while we were away. Ariane is an avid camper and takes her boarded dogs with her for some getaway fun. Look no further if you need an amazing dog walker who will treat your fuzzy kids with lots of care and love. read more

We have been so happy to find Two Feet Four Paws! Our dog, Bella, is ecstatic to see Ariane. Bella waits at the door for Ariane, and expresses her joy when Ariane comes in. I'm comfortable with Ariane having a key to our house so Bella has company and a walk when we're not home. Bella is well behaved, but still had some issues to work on (for example, petrified of riding in the car, snarly if a dog came near her treat). We had a private trainer work with her on these issues, but it took Ariane to get results. Bella jumps into Ariane's car and now ours--ready for her adventure. She's much calmer if another dog is close when she's getting a treat. Ariane's sent pictures and videos that show the fun she's having. On a star scale of 1 to 5, I give her 5 bazillion! I was very nervous leaving Louise with someone else. Louise is a rescue dog and I am admittedly protective of her. However, I completely trust Ariane, who is professional, reliable and loved by Louise. I know Ariane will always watch out for Louise and give her the exercise and attention she deserves while I'm at work. A while back, Louise had surgery on her leg and was not able to go for prolonged walks. During that time, Ariane still came by to provide Louise with attention during her recovery and provided me with much needed mid-day updates. read more

Ariane started helping us with our German Shepherd in 2005 -- first as our trainer and then as our dog walker. There was a noticeable difference in the dog's behavior when she came on as our regular walker. She gave her a great workout rain or shine, and brought her home tired and happy. Unfortunately for our dog, we moved to the East Bay, but we still use her for occasional training and behavior issues.
