Best barber shop in the east valley! I used to go to Sportclips and pay $20 for a bad haircut, but then thankfully I found Two Guys and they only charge $14 for a great haircut! Now I use the extra $6 I would be paying anywhere else for the barbers tip. I recommend this place to all of my friends, simple and has blue chip quality, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. read more

Went there for the first time the other day. I was sitting in the lobby when the next gentlemen was up, but he passed for a specific barber. I should have been concerned, but I did get a decent haircut. What I didn't like was the 4000 lbs of cut hair left on my head, face and clothing. It would not have taken but a minute for my barber to brush and blow dry or wipe off some of it. I looked like a freaking monkey it was ridiculous. I went straight home and took a shower. I will return and give it a second shot, but I won't be getting out of that chair until some attempt is made to clean me off :-) read more

I love going to the barber shop, and as the hair fades, so do my opportunities to do so. I did take my 2 year old son there for his first "real" haircut at a "real" barber. Fantastic experience. It's got that old barber shop feel and the barbers are extremely friendly and great at what they do. It's a first come first serve deal and I had no problem waiting. listening to the local chatter. I plan on making this a normal occurrence (so long as I have hair to cut) with my son, as he thoroughly enjoyed getting his hair cut by a "real" barber, not the kiddy shop. read more

Outstanding barber shop. Which actually felt like a real barber shop and not one of the chain type places with all the horrible tattooed girls who dropped out of beauty school. I got a cut which was outstanding and a hot shave with a straight razor at the end to clean up my neck line and sides. Staff was incredibly awesome. It was nice hearing all the conversations between the barbers and the other customers, it felt very nice and sociable, like a barber shop should be. Unlike the previous reviewer who was all buttsore at the banter going on. Get a life pal and go back to Supercuts you muppet. I also got a very Pro-America vibe in here as well which was incredible. If you are one of those anti Trump cry baby fag*ots, I suggest you find somewhere else, I'm sure everyone is welcome but some snowflakes could possibly get "triggered" in here. I'm in town visiting from DC and was in dire need of a cut and a shave. I was their last customer of the day and they stayed open an extra ten minutes to finish my shave. "Iron Man" did a great job and didn't cut corners to get me out the door by closing time. I've never had so close a shave with no razor burn afterwards. The haircut looks awesome and he managed to keep the wife and me both happy with the results. If it weren't a five hour flight I would make a habit of coming here for a cut and shave. I had been going to the same barber for 20 years but had to change barbers since moving to Gilbert. The high yelp ratings are correct on this one and Two Guys Barbershop exceeded my lofty expectations. These guys are true Professionals. They keep the place spotless and have sports playing on the TV. I will become a regular here and return as my hair requires it. I also found out from my next door neighbor that the owner volunteers his time to the community. Not only is it hard to find a great barber, but it is even harder to find one that is charitable with his time to those in need. read more

Very dissatisfied. First time there and probably the last. The guy was in a rush to close I guess. In the end he tried to fix it using a product. Very nice atmosphere, very convenient location for me, unfortunately very bad hair stylist. Maybe the other two guys are good. My barber was when you get to the store the one on the right. read more

This is not a review on the actual cuts as my boys never received them. I walked in, stood there for awhile, no one greeted me initially until I started looking around trying to figure out where to sign in or wait. One of the barbers looked at me confused the other finally asked what I needed help with...After being told it was going to be an hour wait we decided to head down the street to another barber. With four boys we were in need for a great local barber but unfortunately this was not it. Didn't feel welcomed at all and unorganized. read more

Been going to Two Guys for about 2 and half years, and was at first very happy with the cuts I've received. However, the cuts I've been getting have gone from bad to worse as staff has changed. Walked in today, asked for a rather simple cut: short fade on the sides, leave a little length up top to part, and cut in a hard part at my natural part. I ended up with an uneven bowl cut and a hard part on the top of my head. Barber spun me around and showed me what he did, and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. My hair looked like a UFO!!! I had seen enough to know I wasn't going to let him cut another hair on my head. Thankfully, another barber at another shop was willing to see me and try to repair what was done. This other barber did an AMAZING job, but to keep this review unbiased I will not be naming them. Thankfully, hair grows back, but I will NOT be going back to Two Guys, nor would I recommend them to anyone based on their current staff. read more

6/22/16 - 4:58PM Just left Two Guys Barbershop. My experience was less than satisfactory. I can't remember the older man's name that worked on me. I went in for a beard trim/beard line up. The beginning of the experience went well, his customer service was good. However once we were taking a look at his first go at the line up, after he had done some shaving, there were some areas that needed lining up and touches. We had to go back a few times to try and get things lined up right. He tried a few times, but couldn't quite get it right. I don't know if he was tired, or just runs out of patience REALLY fast... but what happened next was bullshit. I've been shaving for 15 years, I'm particular in how I like it to look and pride myself in getting it perfect. I assumed that in the barber field, that these guys are excellent, and could make the work I do on myself look average compared to the magic I figured they could do. In the end, he lost his patience with me and told me I was done, took off the hair catching cape... signaled to me that I basically over extended my stay and to go. What kind of prima donna nonsense is that? He didn't expect any payment, I tried to get him to run my card for a tip, and he said he didn't want my money if I didn't like his work. I'm glad he didn't take a tip after all. At the end of the day, what I wanted was for him to finish what he started. Or at least for someone else in the shop to step up to the plate and get it right. I was also in there for a back of neck trim/shave/taper and he completely skipped me on that! I would've been more than happy to pay good money for a great finished product and experience. I'm really disappointed in my experience. The reviews for this shop are all seemingly great, I expected to leave this shop beyond satisfied, ready to tell everyone about this shop. The reviews I read on this place made it seem like you walk in an average guy and leave an excellent man. I was expecting stellar customer service in addition to a great barber experience. If this is how this shop treats their clients who are just wanting a great beard line up... then sooner than later they're going to go from Two Guys Barbershop to NO GUYS BARBERSHOP. That is not how you operate a small business especially considering there are barber shops on every corner in the valley now. You have to EARN your business - not push it away. I',ve been going to this barber shop since it opened. The original owners Ed and Reni were fantastic. The service was unsurpassed and Ed was the my barber of choice and he gave a Great haircut and the conversation was always great. Awhile back Reni sold out to another barber and moved back east. I went in about 2 months ago and Ed wasn't there. I asked the new owner when he would be in. He said he was taking a few days off but he could cut my hair. BIG MISTAKE. He wasn't very friendly and the hair cut was terrible. I went home and had my wife fix it. Being loyal to the barbershop and Ed I went in last month. The new co owner told me ED was running late. There were 3 guys in front of me so I decided to wait for Ed. When it came my time he was still the only barber so it was hard to tell him no so i let him cut my hair again with a lot more instruction!. I think he lied about ED being late just to get my money! Whats the old saying 'fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" Yesterday I just called and asked for Ed. He's still not there. I won't be back !!! read more
