We reached out to quite a few moving companies around 7pm expecting answers in the morning. Jeremiah responded almost instantly! You have to respect the hustle. We scheduled the move for Friday. When the winter storm came through on Thursday, our move was rescheduled for everyone's safety. The soonest they could do was Monday afternoon, after they completed a move in the morning. Definitely not what any of us preferred but we had to be out. I cannot say enough good things about Jeremiah and his team. They did what they had to in order to get the job done (and we have a lot of heavy things). They were prompt, communicative and in good spirits despite the setbacks from the weather. The whole process was so easy and I was impressed with the operation right from the start. These guys are awful, nasty and unreasonable. As I was walking atound showing them the job, I asked them to roll up a rug that was not attached to the floor. He start screaming at me that "he is not doing that." There are storage containers and furniture all over the house and and had a bad attitude attitude then. After he screamed at he about the rug, I yelled back. I am in a wheelchair. He kept on yelling and left. He did NOTHING and stped out and left. I said ok, just Do the rest. he refused to continue because. "I won't work for anyone who yells at me.," I even called him a few minutes after he left and I said I didn't understand why he left. Double standard he can yell and refuse to do things, but I can't say any thing back. Beware, the guys is nuts. if you need to.move on a specific day, don't count on them. read more

You charged $145 per hour and you worked for five and a half hours. I paid you the $100 deposit plus the $842.50 you charged me plus $69.51 in tax. A total of $1012.01. When it should have been a total of $797.50 before tax minus my $100 deposit making it $697.50. After all the lies and everything else all I'm asking is for my $100 deposit back. read more

We have worked with Two Hands and a Truck twice (5/22 and 8/22) and both times they were great! The owner quoted the move very quickly on Yelp and they were on time, fast, and ready to move. The elevators at my storage facility were slow and one was broken and they just made a new plan and got my stuff moved without wasting time. I had a terrible experience with this company. Quoted me 3 hours to move my apartment. Took almost double the amount of time, so long that I began to move my items on my own because it was getting out of control. When the move was completed, I asked for an invoice, owner let me know it would be emailed to me. I handed the man CASH. Come to find out - he charged me $100 more than the invoice stated, also, collected a $100 dollar deposit upon booking. Attempted to contact the owner, he mentioned it was "too late" to receive any money back. Too late, within one hour? Told me to take up this issue with the BBB and HUNG UP the phone on me. This man completely took advantage of young females and is a HORRIBLE business owner. Can't believe people like this are still in business providing terrible services. BEWARE!!!! read more

They call to confirm the move and asked for details about the move once I told him it was a third floor move his response was "how did you get that pass me" as if I was trying to scam him into moving my stuff so I sent him a copy of my request that I made via yelp. They canceled my move an hour before they were supposed to come because I stayed on the 3rd floor. Btw they contacted me once I filled out my request which stated I stayed on the third floor. Now I'm left scrambling trying to find a mover last minute on top of waiting a couple days for my deposit to be refunded to my bank. DO NOT USE them as they are unprofessional and will reach out to you have you pay the deposit then cancel a hour before your move leaving you left high and dry trying to find movers the day of which is impossible. read more

I resisted posting a review because I knew it wasn't going to be a positive one but I'm still discovering damages from the move and I'm beyond upset. To start, the person I communicated with through yelp either didn't communicate the details of my move to the movers or they forget because I had to remind them I was moving to the third floor and the price I was quoted. It was clear they weren't happy when they found out. As far as the move went, while I appreciate the effort it takes to haul things up the third floor, if your supposed to be 21 years experienced I expected a professional move and experience with maneuvering obstacles. NONE of my things were wrapped with shrink wrap or anything else as standard for a move. My 6 month old couch was damaged. I brought it to their attention and was told there was nothing they could do about it. I found another damaged area on my couch a few days later. My 6 month old wood dining table was chipped in so many places I'm still finding damages. My bronze washing machine was all scratched up in the front. My couch cushions were thrown anywhere to get dirty. My memory foam bed topper was dragged all on the ground. I had plastic covers for my mattress sets and fabric covered foundation that weren't used to get dirty. My stuff was not handled with care. I've moved several times and never had an experience like this one with a moving company. I'm giving 2 stars because Jeremiah was professional and they assembled my beds without incident. I went with the cheapest quote and I paid for it. Lesson learned. read more

Nearly perfect move! They were an hour and a half late to the appointment but were extremely communicative about the fact that their previous move was taking longer than expected. Before booking an appointment with ANY moving company - understand that their appointment times can change day of. Be understanding of this! I tried to be nice and write a good review with the company that helped load our moving trailer but we got screwed on our items. Lost the damn screws to the fridge now we have to order new screws from Samsung $55.00 for 6 damn screws and not to mention the Allen key screws to hold the handles on. Then something was sat on top of the damn dryer (BRAND NEW DRYER!!!!!) and now our dryer won't work! Now the owner won't answer my calls. Don't waste your time with this company! read more
