She always lays out treatment options in detail, and compares the costs an benefits of each alternative. And if she shines in the clinic setting, she is absolutely stellar in her followup and after-hours accessibility. When you need her, she is there. Period; no ifs ands or buts. Negatives? About the only thing worth mentioning is the fact that she runs a one-person practice, so when she goes on vacation, or attends continuing education sessions (and she is diligent about keeping her skills up to date) there is no second doctor to take over, so it's a good idea to get to know a backup vet in case of emergencies while Dr. G. is away. Some of the other area vets are wonderful, but we learned by experience that there's at least one who is not.

I let them know we were in town and they brought him right in even though it was early. I got a call to pick him up at 2:45 - 15 minutes before he was even scheduled to be seen! I can't say how much I appreciated their approach and willingness to help us. All at an extremely reasonable price. We live in the cities and I might just make sure I take him there if needed even though it's 4 hours away. I highly recommend them!
