I have moved a ridiculous number of times in the last 6 years and not one of those times was easy or pleasant in any way. Until this time. I am doing a two-stage move with Two Men and Truck, and the first stage was amazingly simple and stress free, from making the reservation to delivery and unloading. The company sent 4 guys to my house to move my stuff to two different locations. They arrived on time, introduced themselves and got right to moving things into the truck. They handled all of my furniture and boxes with great care. They were very efficient which I very much appreciated since this was an hourly rate move. During the move, all of the guys were friendly and very easy to work with. They asked questions to be sure they were getting things on the truck to go to the right place. There was not a single moment of worry or stress during the entire move. At one point, the Company owner and one of the managers stopped in to do a spot check and see how everything was going. I was very impressed that they took the time to do this and that they were genuinely interested in how the move was going. The second stop of this move was to a storage unit. That storage unit is perfectly organized - I've never seen a storage unit so impeccably arranged. I can easily see and get to all of my stuff! Overall, this company did a fabulous job for me. I am doing the second stage of this move shortly and have no qualms whatsoever about using Two Men and a Truck for that move as well. In fact, I am looking forward to it. Who'd have thought? One last thing - my sister will be moving soon, and based on my great experience, will be using Two Men and a Truck. These guys are great! read more

They moved my household on August 1,2026. I was quoted 1700 and I was charged over $3000. They will not unpack your things from their truck so I had to pay them. Do not hire these thieves. Very frustrating using this company as they charged us several months after using their service. We were charged $300 on our credit card without our permission or notice for "AR Conversion" which has nothing to do with our moving service and then they told us it's not unusual to be charged after the move a couple days but we were charged months after our move. We've been given the run around with their customer service team between being not called back or told someone would follow up with us we have still not been refunded for this mystery fee. read more

Imagine hiring a company to move your aging mother on December 13th from her home. A home that all of her memories, treasures and pictures reside in, establishing a life well lived. Imagine this company delivering the items to her new home. A time in her life with so much change, after losing her husband of almost 50 years. The 3 men who moved her items, scratched several pieces of furniture, left her mirror swinging on her dresser and not attached with all the parts, broke her microwave and damaged the sliding glass door to her entry way. How did they break the door you ask? They rolled a heavy piece of furniture on a hand truck over it and cracked the frame. The movers took picture and told us the company would be in touch. In touch they were not. I had to reach out to the company. They had a handy man (not a company) come out to assess the damages. The handy man said he could fix the furniture and wanted to put epoxy on the door! Epoxy we asked?! We don't want a temporary fix to a permanent problem. It's a main point of exit/entry! We did not ask for this to happen. We did however accept his offer to fix the furniture. The furniture of which he just came back to get last week. Jonathan did not get back in touch with him until 2/13. Two months later! I contacted Jonathan Taylor at the Rolling Rd location in Baltimore, MD when the contractor came out. I explained the situation and told him while we were waiting for someone to respond to us about the damages, we had Lowes come out to give us a price for a new door. He agreed & stated that he would take care of it & asked me to send over the contract. He took Stephen's name from Lowes and was in contact with him several times. He was going to pay by credit card, then wanted to pay by check. He had me enter into the contract with Lowes and we were all set. Well, until the next day. He called me in the morning and stated that because the door was just over $3,000 he couldn't pay for it out of his location, he would have to submit a claim with Gallagher Basset. Myself, assuming he would advise them of the contract and we would receiving the check from them was ok for the moment. Then, Gallagher Bassett called. Candida the claim adj. took my information and said she would contact Jonathan. It took her several times and even had to reach out to her supervisor to get in touch with him. When she finally did, he told her his guy can fix it. So the adjuster emailed me to let me know what he stated. I am STILL waiting to hear back from her again because I told her JONATHAN had me enter into a contract and they don't just go away. He set me in this position and I trusted him. What about the contract with Lowes? I have heard nothing from either the ins. company or TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. I have a contract with Lowes who have already been out to measure the door after we signed- thanks to JONATHAN! I asked for the GM or the owner's contact info and nobody will give it to me. So please anyone who is interested in hiring Two Men and a Truck from 2709 Rolling Road ste 122 Baltimore, MD 21244, please don't. Jonathan doesn't care how he left your furniture or your house. He only cares about getting paid immediately. My elderly mother even gave the 3 men a nice tip for their work. We get everyone makes mistakes. But to not fix them and put your customers in a financial position and then leave them hanging? This is our experience and we will be sharing with everyone we know. I called Saturday at 12:30 for a time estimate and left a message. I heard from someone around 2 pm who said they would be there after 4 pm, and they promised a call from the movers later with a better time frame. I paid Two Men and a Truck $3,100 to move my studio apartment in boxes to the West Coast, and they completely botched the job. This location is run by a belligerent and lazy man named Andrew O'Melia, who scheduled me for a "crate move," where a third-party shipping company picks up your items from their warehouse. I mistakenly trusted his office to handle this. They waited until the last minute to send me the additional paperwork required to move my belongings beyond Baltimore. I missed Andrew's email and never heard from him again. As a result, my belongings sat untouched in their warehouse for three weeks while I was across the country. When confronted, Andrew lied--claiming they had called and emailed me incessantly. In reality, they left a single voicemail and sent one email. They violated their own contract, turning a 7-10 day delivery estimate into a month-long delay. On the day my items were finally picked up, Andrew turned aggressive and threatened to cancel my move altogether, just because he suspected I would report him to corporate for his behavior. Do yourself a favor and go with a moving company run by professionals. These people are not it. read more

I was initially very impressed with the moving crew's friendliness and positive attitude. I even expressed my appreciation with a generous $200 tip on top of the $719 charged for the move. This was before I discovered that a couple of my personal items were missing. The move itself was simple--an internal relocation just down the hall of my building, involving a bedroom set, exercise equipment, living room furniture, and about six boxes. In total, this move ended up costing me nearly $1,000. In hindsight, I acknowledge some responsibility, as I hadn't fully emptied my vanity before the movers arrived. I had left a few essential items in the drawers that I planned to use over the next two days. After the movers left, I removed the tape sealing the vanity drawers (to ensure there was no danger from the tape), I noticed that two personal items were missing. I immediately checked my old unit, the hallway, and all common areas to rule out the possibility that they were accidentally left behind or dropped during the move. Given the extremely short and simple nature of the relocation--no stairs, no truck, no elevator--I am confident the items did not get lost in transit. I reached out to the company, not to place blame, but simply to report what had happened. I spoke with Drew, the Operations Manager, who informed me that since the move was internal and there were no truck visuals, and because he did not have the authority to search the movers, I would need to file a police report. I went to my local precinct as instructed, only to be told that the matter was considered civil, not criminal. I contacted Drew again, trying to weigh whether pursuing a civil claim was even feasible, especially considering the costs of legal action would likely exceed the $400 value of the missing items. Ultimately, I decided against pursuing it and simply said I would leave a review reflecting my experience. Unfortunately, the conversation with Drew became heated. He contradicted previous statements--initially saying the movers had checked the vanity drawers before taping them, and later claiming they had not. The tone escalated, and I was effectively accused of being dishonest and of trying to recoup the loss at all costs. I was deeply disappointed by the shift in tone and the accusatory nature of the conversation. Having moved numerous times during my military career, I've experienced damage before, but never have I had items go missing or felt so disrespected in trying to address a concern. They arrived over an hour late today to pack my hoard, and did not show at AT ALL yesterday for junk removal. I know I am a hoarder. They were notified of that ahead of time, and that I need ALOT of packing, junk removal and move help. When they finally arrived they notified me that they had a window time of arrival up until 10 a.m., so they technically were not late. I was not told this ahead of time. The manager ASSURED me yesterday that they would be on time. Once they arrived they refused to do the job, because of the amount of stuff I have, and the mold in the basement. Like, you could not wear an n-95 ? And the Scheduler was explicitly told that I was a hoarder, so the packers would not be shell-shocked. To Leave me in a bind like this the day before I have to be out of my apartment is unconscionable ! All I know is they better return my deposits! This is BEYOND unprofessional! read more

Terrible Experience - Damaged, Stolen Items & Extortion (I Have Proof!) I had a horrible experience with Two Men & A Truck. During my move, their crew broke and damaged several of my belongings and even stole items. Instead of making things right, the Operations Manager refused to reimburse me for the damages unless I completed a review stating I would use them again--a clear act of extortion. I have proof of this. This company does not operate with integrity. Rather than taking accountability, they tried to manipulate me into protecting their reputation. Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with dishonesty, theft, and coercion. On July 14 two men and a truck moved me into a storage unit in the Annapolis area. In the process the guys broke two glass table tops. The company was responsive and put me in touch with a "trusted" 3rd party for repairs. We connected on July 28. His name is Doug Wehrle. Doug came to the unit and took measurements of the tables. He also took the remaining table top for exact size and measurements. I have called, texted, emailed since July 28 and it is now September 7 and he has not responded except for one time when he stated he was on vacation and would call me back. I reached back to 2men and a truck and they are calling him now also but they also informed me that they had a recent management change several weeks ago and were not aware of this situation. All in all... I am OUT 3 Table TOPS (which could have been avoided if the movers had not let the dolley move and the glass tops fell off). I am writing this to perhaps get SOME attention. I just want the One remaining table top and find someplace else to replace the other two. All in all.. it was an expensive move and I'll probably never use these guys again. I have used two men and a truck before and had great experiences but I had a truly terrible experience with the Baltimore company last week.  They have completely ignored the problems, refused to help solve the problems they created, and not communicated when they said they would.  I am incredibly disappointed. To start, they were supposed to pack our house and move to the new house a few miles away.  They left the original house a disaster!  Boxes I had packed were dumped out and left spilled on the ground.  My child's room was left strewn with toys and clothes all over the place.  About 40% of the stuff was just not moved at all!  They left trash from their lunch and the moving materials all over the entire house.  They used the bathrooms and didn't flush.  They left the exterior doors open wide open and unlocked.  I have pictures and videos of all of this which the Operations Manager saw and disregarded.  I had to hire another moving company to finish the job. When I talked to Christopher Young on 8/31 he assured me he would work with me to fix this.  He agreed it was unacceptable and wanted to talk to his crew before resolving it with me on 9/3.  He said that the final amount would not exceed $2700.  On 9/3 my husband had to call him and he said he still had not talked to the head of the moving team, Alpha.  He wrote us an email saying he would call tomorrow.  He did not call.  On 9/5 our credit card was charged for over $3000-- with no conversation!  We tried to get in touch and they were not responsive.  They refused to negotiate and would not do any of the things they promised on 8/31. I understand that bad experiences happen but I am incredibly disappointed in the response from a company that prides itself on word of mouth recommendations and repeat customers.  I would like to know if there is anything that can be done--- my family has lost significant time and money because of this poor service. read more

Some items were returned to us after threatening to call the police but upon returning home later that day after moving items to our storage unit, I'm still missing other valuable items, I found jewelry boxes stuffed underneath some towels with nothing in it. Took over 5 hours to move 1bedroom set and 1 tv stand. 1 of my slacks from King Bed was broken by them. Bed was not tighten and properly put together. I had to pay someone to take it apart and put it back together again. Lost screws and bolts for bed and tv stand. I literally moved 6 minutes away and had to pay $672.00 ... Talked my head off about incarceration and personal business matters. If you want prompt, accurate and professional service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My review remains: Do NOT Use This Company! 6/12/22: In response to the company's reply, I sent an email with detailed information regarding my move. I will post an update on the resolution. Where do I start? It was literally the worst move I ever experienced. When inquiring about their services, I asked if they had movers experienced with packing a POD. Further, I asked for my things to be wrapped. I was told yes they did. I used two men & a truck in the Atlanta area for the same thing & had a flawless experience. They showed up on time and that's the only thing they did right. They had no shrink wrap and it took 3 hours for someone to bring it. There were two people one of which was an inexperienced 18/19 yr old who meant well but did not know how to love things properly and was very weak. They were moving things without wrapping, took the stands off my TVs with asking or giving me the screws & stands to secure, and did not know how to pack a POD safely and how to maximize space. They were extremely slow! The last straw was when they attempted to move my glass dining room table top. The weak mover wasn't strong enough to move it. Another person had to come help, but not before my table was broken. They took advantage of me moving out of a mid rise building, knowing I couldn't see the damage on items going into the POD. They simply did not give a care. It was just about throwing the items by in and they wouldn't be responsible. My neighbor caught them dragging my mattress across the dirty ground. After getting my belongings out the storage POD months later, I'm finding so much damage to my things: glass table ruined, king bed broken in numerous pieces, TV broken. I could go on & on. Please don't use these people if they were the last movers on earth. read more

The move itself was reasonably quick and the movers listened to any requests I had. However, a TV never made it to the new location. I double checked the storage unit and the new place and it just disappeared. When I called, they were always quick to say someone else would call me back. I made numerous calls to see if anyone reported an unclaimed TV or to find out what could have happened and no one ever called me back. I will never use them again. If you can't return a call for a potentially stolen or missing item, you don't deserve my business. read more

I was incredibly disappointed with the move these hacks performed. I was looking for a full pack and load and the packers missed so many things I'm having to move half my apartment myself because the next day movers wouldn't take any of it. Not to mention the packers apparently mischarged me so I got another $567 bill the next day for the terrible job they performed. I'm still unpacking and tons of the boxes are only half full so things shifted and broke during the move. They also packed my food for some reason so I had to order a ton of takeout to be able to eat before I found it. And one of the movers wrapped a full litter box I told them not to take and got used cat litter all over the floors Id just cleaned. Not to mention the furniture they broke. I've used two men and a truck before from other locations and they were great so I don't know whats wrong with this location but don't ever give them your business! read more

This company has SERIOUS INTEGRITY ISSUES....we are still discovering broken items! One being a $2k exercise bike!! This is what you call service?? This company is a disgrace!!! We should of done better research! Do not connect me unless it's the owner! You guys have my contact info!! My wife and I recently used two men and truck for our move out of our first home. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. Where do I start... Ok the only thing that went well, they showed up on time. After arrival, my wife and I pointed out our belongings that were to go the new home, and storage during the walk through. We completed the walkthrough, and the truck driver(Melvin) who seemed to be in charge just sat outside doing nothing while the others began the move. Well I take that back. He smoked a cigarette, and turned on inappropriate music in a neighborhood full of children. Melvin proceeded to smoke in the back of the truck while the other movers loaded our furniture. I have asthma, and can't be around smoke. Now the smell is in our furniture! We also noticed one of the other movers was just doing his own thing...talking to himself and just not being much involved in the move. His fellow movers were joking about him possibly taking a substance before the job. The movers continued to claim he was on some kind of drugs in our home around my 6 and 1 year old. At this point we think we've seen the worst of it, to my surprise it wasn't. After arriving at our new home, we noticed several of things were missing. I questioned the movers on the whereabouts of the missing items. One of them said, "We left it at the house, sorry about that". My wife and I started to notice the broken items. In our service agreement, we paid for them to disassemble our beds, and put them back together. My 6 year olds sons bed was so poorly put together, a sneeze would of knocked it over. Melvin, the mover who put it together hide missing pieces under his bed. If my wife wouldn't of noticed, they would of left it that way. She had to point out the poorly done job by Melvin to the other two movers. After we arrive at the storage unit, the movers were so unorganized, I stepped in to help speed up things. As I assisted one of the movers store our high top table, I noticed it was damaged. I questioned him about it, and he replied, "The new guy dropped it off the back of the truck". I'm livid inside, because if I wouldn't of noticed, they wouldn't of said A THING! Melvin, who is in charge of damage reports gets with us on the elevator to take pictures of the damages. While on the elevator, Melvin and the movers make inappropriate jokes about dropping my table off the back of the truck! At the storage unit, I brought up to Melvin that several items were left at the old home. He never offered to go back to get them or anything. They just left me at the storage unit. I had to make 3 trips back and forth to finish the job. This took until a little past 1am. My wife and I brought up our concerns to the supervisor Jake, who said he needed to speak with his guys before he did anything. The same day I received a call from Jake giving me excuses of why he couldn't get ahold of the crew members. Jake said one of the members phone was broke so he needed an additional day. The following day I get a call from Dominic Canterbury(Operations Manager). After our horrific experience Dominic offered us $105 refund for the uncompleted service we paid for. I expressed my disgust with the company, and feelings of being ripped off. Dominic then said the best he could do was $200. From what I got, no matter how bad our experience was, Jake and Dominic Canterbury did not care. For what should of been a 3-4 hour job, somehow turned into 7 hours. Which they still didn't complete our move. Long story short, we paid for a service, and didn't receive it. This company simply ripped us off. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE WE DID. THIS COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF! From the workers to management, highly unprofessional individuals. Customer service is least important! I plan on sharing this with the BBB, and EVERY PLATFORM! There's a reason that the general rating for this particular area is so low. Don't give them your service is you care even a LITTLE about your things. The packers left so much behind that was definitely on their packing list so we had to move a lot of stuff ourselves and they still recharged us for a mistake they made on their side. So much of our stuff was half packed and loose so we keep finding stuff broken. The packers didn't label most of our boxes either. I'm deeply upset that they managed to break so many things, even stuff that you wouldn't think possible for a simple move. They charged us way too much for a job we could have done better. We twice asked TMAAT if its truck could fit all our movables. TMAAT twice said yes. Then, to make extra sure, we had TMAAT come to our house and inventory our items, itself. TMAAT did so and again assured us that its truck could fit the inventory which TMAAT, itself, compiled. Then came moving day, and TMAAT couldn't fit all our items in its truck. We complained, and TMAAT threatened to cancel the move with no refund if we didn't sign its papers saying all our items were loaded; in fact, the movers even began to unload the truck per instructions from their supervisor. So we signed like we were compelled to and left thousands of dollars of items behind. We also signed the delivery form for a similar reason: TMAAT would not unload our items if we didn't sign. And not surprisingly, the movers refused to accept the day-of inventory that they had us compile because they didn't deliver much of what was on that inventory - they even said, "we might get in trouble." TMAAT also broke our treadmill during the move but refuses to compensate us, even though we purchased TMAAT's full valuation policy. TMAAT is simply claiming the treadmill has a value of $0 - despite the fact that TMAAT's own preferred valuation website which it emailed us says working exercise equipment always retains an absolute minimum value of 10% of its purchase price. So long story short, TMAAT didn't move what it said it would, and it broke the most expensive item of what it did move. Despite this, we tried to reach an amicable resolution with TMAAT: if it paid for the treadmill repairs (which it inexplicably had us get a quote for BEFORE then valuing the treadmill at $0), we would eat the cost of the items TMAAT left behind. TMAAT rejects that resolution. So we will continue to pursue a fair resolution though other means - disputing charges, BBB complaints, FMCSA complaints, etc. And we will discourage other people from ever using TMAAT's services. read more

Terrible last experience with Baltimore office. I had previously used them several times with no issue. The crew showed up to house for move and pack and said everything looked about average (as in, normal for a 3 bed house). Came with 26' truck for 3-bed house; when I was told after several hours they would not have enough space I asked them to prioritize what remained in the house. Instead, the crew chief packed a lawn mower and patio set that I'd specifically told them to leave, wasting tons of space on the truck that could've been boxes. Crew chief provided a video of basement to show what remained behind -- I was shocked to return and find significant number of items on every floor, much of it piled up in the middle of rooms with the crew's taco bell trash. After speaking with their office several times and at length to explain issues, they told me that I should've given them a better estimate of items and they would do nothing for me. Final charge was way more than original estimate, and they left so many items behind that I was forced to hire another company to complete the job for $875 + tip. They stood behind their job and blamed me. Cannot recommend anyone use this company. read more

They doNOT give deposit back or deduct it from bill. They charged my credit card 2 separate times 1 day apart. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR NEXT MOVE On Thursday, May 19, 2022 I contacted Two Men and A Truck by phone to schedule our move for Wednesday, June 1, 2022. On the day of our move a junk removal truck showed up to our home. We quickly contacted the customer service team and had the issue corrected by rescheduling our move to Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 10:00 am. This should have been a huge red flag but we were tight on time and had no other choice. On Thursday, June 2, 2022 while we waited outside of our home for the moving truck to arrive I received an email from a Christopher Baker at 10:01 am informing me that the moving truck was outside of our home, stating that if he did not receive a response by 10:15 am they would be leaving and I would need to reschedule the move (again). This was not true the moving truck was no where to be found. I quickly contacted the customer service team again. I was informed by the customer service representative that the address entered on their end was incomplete missing the house number. Another red flag. The moving truck finally showed up at about 10:45 am. Upon arrival I walked the movers through the home showing them each room and the furniture needing to be moved. I was very rudely informed by the team lead that the contract stated they would only be moving five pieces of furniture. This information was not correct. When scheduling the move I actually overcompensate for the amount of furniture we were needing to have moved. After completing the tour the movers quickly began to move pieces of furniture, most of which they failed to wrap properly or wrap at all. During the move the team of movers were blasting inappropriate music which I asked them to turn down on multiple occasions because I had to little ones in the home with me. The team disregarded my repeated request. Another red flag. When moving furniture from the third floor to the main level the movers were extremely careless nearly breaking the railing on multiple occasions and dropping multiple furniture pieces down the stairs. Once the movers arrived at the new home the team lead was again very nasty towards me because it was not communicated to him by his customer service team that our new home was on the third floor of an apartment building. The movers continued to be extremely careless with our items, walking on top of furniture pieces leaving behind muddy foot prints and even going as far as dropping an entire cup of soda on our brand new sectional leaving the cushions soaked and the fabric permanently damaged. Once all of the furniture was placed in our new home the movers refused to remove the little bit of wrapping they did do and refused to reassemble the furniture they disassembled and admitted they had lost the hardware for the bed frame of our master bedroom. After inspecting all of the furniture myself I brought the damages to the attention of the team lead. I then asked to speak to his supervisor prior to paying which he refused stating that his phone was dead. He informed my husband and I that an insurance claim could be filed immediately for all of the damaged pieces and everything would be replaced without hesitation from the Two Men and A Truck team. After the movers left I reached out to Christopher Baker by responding to the email I received earlier that morning informing him of my concerns with the move. I then received a response from a Jake O'Melia assuring me that everything would be taken care of. Since that email I have now spoken to three different individuals, all with different excuses as to why they will not be helping correct the damages caused by their team. Today is Wednesday, August 31, 2022 and a resolution has yet to be reached. I have emailed the Two Men and A Truck team more than anyone should ever have to, begging that they correct the issues caused by their team. I have been ghosted by several team members on different occasions specifically one by the name Dominic Canterbury and given the run around when I do finally get a response. At this point I am fed up with this customer service team and beg you as the consumer to take my review seriously and stay far away from this company. I will be doing everything in my power to warn others of the lack of attention to detail and the lack of care for the paying customer. We are now out a little under $2,000 in moving cost as well as over $5,000 in damages of just the four furniture pieces I asked to have replaced or repaired by the Two Men and A Truck team. The worst movers you can buy! To start, all the furniture was treated with little to no care. Scrapes, gouges, and cracks covered all furniture from top to bottom. The movers then took an unexpected 30 min break to smoke a few joints, yes, we paid per hour. Upon leaving our unit I allowed them to use the restroom, did they treat it with respect, nope. They urinated all over the toilet seat and threw wet globs of toilet paper on the floor. In conclusion, I should have just taken the $900 and burned it. read more

2/20/2023: The service was very disappointing. The movers were not the problem per se. It is management. These are the issues that I had with the company. 1) Communication-The Baltimore office is where the appointment was booked; however the Columbia office provided the service. I paid for supply items that were not placed on the truck. I called to discuss the issue but was told that Jake was in a meeting and he would call me back. Jake called the truck driver and was discussing the issue with him instead of speaking with me the regarding the issue. I requested that the driver give me the phone to speak with Jake. In my conversation with Jake I asked why he choose to call the driver instead of me...the customer. He stated that he wanted to make sure that the driver did not leave any coverings on the furniture. Basically, forget about your furniture as long as we get our packing materials back. The conversation went on and he stated that he saw that the truck had left without the supplies. I asked, "Why didn't you call and inform me?" He stated he had texted me at 11:44 that day to see if everything was going okay. What? I stated that who has time to be looking at texts during a move, when you are trying to ensure your furniture, walls, are not being damaged by the movers. Which a lamp was broken... Also, blaming the staff (movers for the issues) and not taking ownership as a manager is not a nice look. 2) Pricing-I was told that I would only be charged for the time that the movers were actually working/moving. Not true. I ended up paying for 30 minutes of time when the movers were not actually working. When questioned about this...the response was...I have your pre-move agreement and you signed it. Okay...my question...Do you pay your employees for time that they do not work? 3) Customer Service-I realize that we are in the technology age; however, a phone call is most appropriate as a means of speaking with your customers. Auto-populated text messages...well, they are meaningless, especially when there is an issue. 4) Misunderstanding or questionable practice- The company was told that the move would be to a storage facility. About 85% of the items were already wrapped and prepared for storage. Why would I pay for the movers to wrap the remaining items...only to pull the wrappings off at the storage facility? This was a time waster. I was looking forward to using this service as this was my first time and the office staff was very personable and I honestly believed that it would be a positive experience but it was not. We had a great experience with Two Menu and a Truck!! From my first call with Sheena, I had a good feeling - she was thorough and communicative, providing me with options and quickly replied to my questions via phone or email. This was an interstate move with two stops along the way. A big benefit of Two men over others is that the truck was for our items only, no mixing with others, and they guaranteed when our items would arrive to our new home a few states away! (other companies offered day ranges, moving is stressful enough without having to wait days for our belongings to arrive). On the days of both move out and move in, the two movers arrived on time, were professional, and while neither (in or out) was quick, It was because they took their time to ensure all of our belongings were carefully wrapped in tarps and shrink wrap and carefully packed in the truck. You could tell these were experienced movers! (Everyone single item arrived damage free!) We moved into an apartment building where a walk, stairs and an elevator were involved, and a challenging parking situation. But they handled it with a "We got this, no problem" attitude and they did! Another benefit is that their movers work directly for Two Men. (and their equipment - truck, tarps, etc. - are their own.) When you call the big name national companies, they all subcontract to smaller local movers. I would highly recommend Two Men!! read more

I have done a lot of moving and have used several different moving companies. I even used Two Men and Truck before. But this was the best experience I've had in quite a while! From the initial call to Sheena in Annapolis to the delivery in Greensboro, everyone kept me apprised of what was going on. Seth and Justin were great to work with...Very friendly and caring about my things and my state of mind...they assured me that everything would go smoothly and it did!! Let me start off by saying if I could rate this company negative stars I would. For starters the movers took 6 hours to move a one bedroom apartment 15 mins across the city. The move was originally scheduled for 2 hours. This almost doubled my bill. They sent two movers instead of the scheduled 3. One of my two movers spent half the time on his phone. NOT TO MENTION THEY DAMAGED EVERY. SINGLE. ITEM. THAT THEY MOVED INTO MY HOUSE. they ripped my sofa, dented my wall, broke the leg off of my ottoman, lost three of the support beams to my bed frame making it unusable, broke my curtain rod, lost the pegs to put the shelves back in my tv stand, marks on my paint, chipped my dresser, dining room table, and bed frame, etc!! The list goes on and on. Additionally I had the insurance and contacted someone at the company to get back to me about filing my claim. I don't even know where to begin.....oh yes I do. They broke and damaged items that should've been handled with care. They scratched up walls when they moved furniture in. It was my mistake entrusting in the 3 guys to move my things in alone as I ran to Bob's Discount furniture. No one is acknowledging that this has happened nor have they offered to return any amount of the $760.00 that I paid to remove the broken items from my apartment. The 1st time I used the company I had some concerns about 2 of the movers (that barely worked) but all in all I gave them a good review. One of the movers told me to call them directly if I wanted cheaper movers and she hardly did any work all she did was talk, talk, talk and talked. I have two boxes in my home that doesn't even belong to me that didn't get broken that's labeled "donation." What in the entire world lol. I did tip the one guy that was responsible for my signature because he moved a delivery I had into my apartment. All I can do is laugh because no one has returned my email about the broken items or the boxes that do not belong to me. If you are looking for a quality moving company, please use Wise Choice Group. This company is a full of scammers. This was the worst move I've ever suffered through and they charge too much for the mediocre services they provide. Your movers were late. They did not handle my things with care. I have a broken table, chair, vases and mugs. What should have taken maybe 4 hours took 6 because your movers moved incredibly slow. And to top it off the managers knew I was upset and did not reach out to me. When I called their office several times on 6/23/19 and 6/24/2019 no one picked up. I tried to speak to the manager Terry but he did not pick up any of my calls. This morning I woke up to see they charged a different card than the one I provided you on the day of the move. This is the worst company I've had the displeasure of hiring. They call themselves a "real" moving company but don't fall for it. Their movers are unprofessional: after arriving late, they joked about how ikea bed and to break. And then when they moved my bed a part of it fell out of the frame, one of the movers broke a glass planel in my table before we even left the first apartment. They continued to joke about breaking my things. They said they would provide me with a TV box to transport my tv. This was a lie. The next day I realized the leg on one of my chairs was broken. I cut myself on a broken vase that I carefully bubble wrapped but the way Avery handled my thinks it's unsurprising that it was broken. If you are looking to move you're better of hiring ANYONE ELSE.
