I offer some tips before hiring tmaat. 1. Either load it yourself, or hire a veteran mover to supervise every inch of the loading. 2. Wrap all your wooden furniture. Don't let them do it. Also, make sure every item is properly secured. 3. Do not sign anything, at least until the load has arrived. 4. Tell the company before hiring you will refuse to sign any documents until the load is delivered. Then make sure everything has either arrived properly or that you have written confirmation you will be reimbursed a certain amount for any specific damage. If they don't agree, get someone else. 5. This company moved me on April 1st a nonprofit paid for my move because I am a vulnerable adult four guys showed up that were really boys they tracked mud all through my house they broke my couch my bed my microwave and several vintage pieces that are irreplaceable the owner wanted to bring me a used couch at his convenience and pick two other things to reimburse me for this is the worst company ever do not hire them the owner doesn't care about you or anybody else he is arrogant and you will have to jump through hoops to even try to talk to him about getting your things reimbursed stay away far away I was never given an option to get insurance and I was never given a landing Bill and this guy wants to tell me that he's not liable. BE VERY CAREFUL ON HOW THESE PEOPLE WILL TRY TO CHARGE YOU MORE!!! If the above were to happen again, I would have ask them to leave my freaking property!!! Also I learned from experience to book a move at least a few days before I REALLY have to move (drive the Uhual truck or arrange for the UPack/UBox to get picked up after loading or whatever I'm using). This way I have the option of telling these CLOWNS to get the F*@K out of my property!!!! And I will find someone else!!! I used them last year for my move in Fargo. I needed to move again recently and NO WAY I WILL USED TWO MEN AND A TRUCK AGAIN!! They were milking it and stood around doing nothing!!! The "foreman/charge" person is constantly on the phone "supposedly" with the boss trying to figure out "how much EXTRA to charge me IF GOING OVER THE BOOKED TIME!!! Then there is his iPad looking thing that was not working properly!!! I asked him to put it down and just move my stuff ALREADY!!! But he kept insisting trying to get it working. He spent a total of over an hour trying (on the phone with the boss and tech support!!!) on MY DIME!!! WTF!! No wonder I see they have a 2.5 STAR RATING!!! Horrible experience. They have been dodgy to deal with. They shattered our kamodoe joe and didn't offer a fair replacement value, saying "a household item is a household item" so it doesn't matter what they damage. We've had to call them many, many, many times and the owner doesn't return calls. One of the guys tracked mud all over our new house. They said they'd clean it -- still haven't heard back after calling multiple times. They left the kamado joe grill shatter d on our lawn and didn't clean it up. read more

This was my second time using TMAAT. The first was positive so I thought it was a safe bet. I was very wrong! First they had the details of my space and items wrong so the move took twice as long as expected. It was snowing the day of my move. They tracked in salt and snow all over my brand new wood floors. It wasn't until halfway done that the movers put down material in an attempt to prevent further damage; it didn't since they walked around it and it constantly moved as it wasn't secured. I laid down protection on the carpeted stairs myself since I was never offered any kind of protective covering by the company beforehand or by the lead on site. It was destroyed quickly by their boots. Part of the service is to have furniture and boxes arranged to the client's request. None of my boxes or heavy furniture on my second floor were in the right rooms or places when they left. I was never asked. The boxes were clearly marked. They left piles in my kitchen that didn't belong there. They did get some living room furniture in the right place, but while I was asking them to adjust it and my very large TV and entertainment stand, the lead snapped at me. I gave up. My floors were a disgusting mess, both under my furniture (that I can't move myself) and otherwise. My personal multiple mopping attempts didn't do any good. When I left a review on their website, the owner/manager called me right away which I appreciated. He apologized and offered to have my floors professionally cleaned, to have movers come out to properly arrange my furniture, and to refund me $100 for the move itself. I agreed. However, it never happened. I followed up and another option for a cleaning company was offered. There was a delay due to health reasons on my behalf. I reached out again and was left hanging. February 2025 was my move. It's mid-May 2025 and I'm still living with destroyed floors from their lack of consideration. My furniture is still not adjusted. Since then I've also noticed some damages in various furniture items as well. This company isn't trustworthy. Save yourself the headache and use someone else. read more

I should've told the two individuals that moved me to "go home" after they told me they hate their job (Before the move even began) It's been well over a month that they lost parts to an $800 bed. They complained the entire time due to it raining. They dropped a $400 dollar chair in mud and took some off the grand total for that. Then they left all my bed pieces in a corner and MORE THAN HALF were missing. I wish I had better things to say about this Co. Friends of mine used them for a move across town. When the two men came to move the contents onto the home, they never placed anything down on the new carpet or hard floors as to keep from getting stained from the dirt & grim that the two of then tracked in... Not a very professional at all. Seemed to the the home owners t like the Co just found & used two guys from a Manpower Labor employment center for the day to get the job done.. Also be aware of who moves you & really low prices that may get jacked up when a Co, underestimates what the total cost will be & get references for sure , at least 5 . And for goodness sakes, make them pay to have your floors cleaned or replaced should they damage them!! They should have insurance for this stuff happening... Make sure they do have it before signing any deal... I recommend that the Co. invest in a product to protect any floors they will be walking across on the move in, there is some the do protect that you just throw away after your done... read more

I got a call about 11:30 saying they were "finishing up" another job and would be over in about 30 minutes. That 30 minutes was 3 hours. 3 hours of waiting for them. When they finally arrived they were done in approximately 1 hour. Know please explain to me how moving 6 items and 2 hours worth of work cost me almost $800.00? That is completely insane. Two Men and a Truck This is a locally owned franchise. These guys are great! I used them (with only a few days notice), to haul a heavy piece of furniture from Costco to my house. They met me there on schedule, as I purchased it (once you buy it there you need to take it). Larger items like this can be ordered from Costco on the net, paying shipping charges, and have it delivered to your door or garage. Getting it unpacked, moving it in the house where you want it, and putting it together is up to you. Costco will do this when you order a major appliance, but not something you buy in their store. Two Men and a Truck actually was two guys that did all this for me. They were careful and courteous. They even moved a smaller cabinet so the new one could take it's place. They used throws to protect the floors, and took away all the packing materials. The quote was free, professionally arranged, and reasonably priced. They estimate low to get the job and then charge 50-60% more after the job is doing. Our move was an hour long, charged us for two hours and said the items were harder that usual. The litter all went in one door on a main level and dropped off at another location in one door at another location. Don't use! read more

Our experience with Two Men and a Truck started out as one would expect! They booked our move across ND and were initially pleasant to work with. When they started loaded items I wasn't too excited how one employee handled our belongings. We got to our destination the next day and they were unwrapping our items prior to unloading the truck and then putting them on the dolly (while unwrapped). One guy said to another "we really should be leaving them wrapped while we move them." Most of our furniture is 2 years old and is now all marked up. Our dining table, all chairs, king bedroom set, 2 dressers from another bedroom set...I could go on and on. The damage isn't light, barely visible scratches but rather chunks of wood missing. I am the person who goes out of my way to write good reviews for businesses. However, this review is quite the opposite. Our overall experience was very poorly handled. The movers were kind during the move but I would expect kindness AND a company to be careful with our belongings that cost us thousands of dollars. We take good care of our stuff so they last a long time. I have always moved myself for fear of this happening; however this time it had to be done fast, not to mention we had a new baby. We spent a TON of money to hire this company only to be very disappointed in their compensation for damaged items. If you don't care about your personal items then I would say to hire them as they are prompt. That is the only reason they get one star. read more
