The service I received from two men and a truck was exceptional from start to finish. To begin I spoke with Elisabeth at their headquarters/booking office. She is what prompted me to go with their company. She was so professional and so friendly. I called at least 5 times, and she was extremely helpful each time. After the move I needed a few bits of information and she worked hard to get them to me. She got me all the paperwork I needed and diligently. Then I spoke with the manger Nicole she was also very professional and went above and beyond to keep me in the loop about my movers and make sure everything was proceeding accordingly. I also worked with Nick at the back office for paperwork and he provided excellent service. As for the actual move. My move was a very tough one and Anthony and Nolan assisted me with extra care concern and with a smile on their faces. It was a complicated move that required a lot of strength, dedication and intelligence. It required 1, brute strength because I have a lot of heavy items. 2, there was a lot of stuff and it all needed to be moved that day, requiring the guys to work extra hard to achieve this. Lastly, intelligence. Pivoting the items down a 4 floor walk-up is not easy. You have to be well versed in the process of moving to get things in and out efficiently. Also, the truck was packed by Nolan in a way that I did not think humanely possible. Every inch of space was utilized properly, not sure if he plays Tetris but we would be a master! He also packed my storage unit, PERFECTLY! This is a huge part of the service, because without a proper packing of the truck all the items would not have fit. I often asked the guys if they needed a break or anything snacks food. They really worked hard to work straight through the move, I don't think they took 5 minutes to themselves. So, my Mother-in-law need to close out her apartment in queens. One that she lived in for over 50 years. My wife's childhood home. As you can imagine it was very difficult for my wife and she was worried about everything. Saying goodbye to things, what to keep what to pack what to put in storage, you get the idea. Well the team that showed up for our move was exactly what we needed. Just the right amount of knowledge, professionalism, personality and most of all, a happy outlook on life and a realness that made my wife not only feel at ease but made her laugh and smile. They were not only on time, but early. They checked in and they started work right away. The only time they paused was when they gave us some funny words of wisdom that had us enjoying the day. They were careful with all the items, big and small. They made sure things were packed well and transported to the truck with care. The only time I saw a cell phone was when the Team leader took a call from the office, which I must say, is such a rarity it almost made me ask them if they even HAD phones. Before we left Queens, we got a call from Dan checking in on the status of the move, which was a pleasant surprise. Once we were packed up, we had to head up Rockland county and again, they were right behind me, since they had to take the truck route. The unloading of the truck took under an hour and again with the banter and attention to detail to help us pack the storage room was perfect. The price was exactly the way I was told it would be, LESS than the quote since this crew was so efficient we finished early! I used Two Men and a Truck to move an elderly friend's belongings to two different locations. They arrived on time, wore masks and gloves, got right to work, followed instructions carefully, and safely moved everything which included some valuable items. Because it was a fairly local move within the 5 boroughs of New York City, it was assumed that it would take a certain minimum number of hours, maybe 3 or 4 (I can't remember because this happened a few months ago). There would be an additional cost for every hour the job went over time. When the two young men arrived at the second location, I had them put the items in the lobby of the building rather than carry them upstairs since I didn't want to take the chance of going over time. We then completed the paperwork. They were very kind and courteous so I let them use the bathroom in the building. Since they were going upstairs anyway they offered to carry all the items upstairs. They were already off the clock, and the job had gone right up to the minimum time (again 3 or 4 hours). But they did it anyway. I was very satisfied and tipped them well of course. I had gotten 3 other bids ahead of time, and they were all within the same ballkpark. It's expensive to use movers. It cost $700 to move the contents of one room to locations 20 miles apart. tuff that's it. When I booked this move I told the agent over the phone that i wanted everything to be covered to the fullest. He said no problem. you would think that the contract they sent me days before had everything included in there NOPE!!. When I filed the damage claim the racist manager told me that they were going to write me a check for $47.50. When I told him that that was unacceptable and that his movers damaged all of my stuff, he said "I'm sorry that's the best that we can do". The racist manager told me that if they gave me special treatment that they would have to do the same thing for everybody else. So in summary don't believe or trust anything that the agents say over the phone and make sure it's all in writing And don't bother speaking to the racist manager because I told him because your sales person messed up and didn't give me the insurance that I asked for and for your movers to damage everything and were completely careless in wrapping and strapping down my stuff causing it to get damaged in route to my new house now i have to suffer with the lost of everything. Please choose a different company because at the end of the day they don't care about you and are careless with your stuff and will damage everything read more

I scheduled to have" Two Men And Truck" come and move some furniture. They were extremely professional from start to finish. The scheduling was easy, They called prior to arrive time , just to let me know that they were 10 minutes away and showed up on time ! They wrapped my items in professional moving blankets, then in plastic wrap. One piece was particularly large and the space was very awkward ... yet, The 2 men: Cedriss Paillant and Jermaine Leslie were so professional, polite, respectful of my property AND able to very skillfully , maneuver it downtime stairs.without one scratch anywhere!!! It was a real challenge- I was truly amazed at how c they took there time to carefully strategize the move, IMPRESSIVE!!!!!! My movers were Nolan, Malik, and Simmone. They were highly skilled and we had some massive furniture and narrow stairs. They navigated all with barely a scratch. They were also extremely friendly. The only downside is one of the movers misplaced his own coat that I am still trying to find for him. I would definitely recommend this trio for anyone making a move. read more
