I tried to use the insurance I purchased and that did not cover anything. I spoke with a assistant manager since the manager was away. I was told to send pictures and an email recapping it and that someone would get back to me. That was months ago and I never heard anything. Had to throw some stuff out and had to get some professionally cleaned. So much for a climate controlled storage unit. I would not recommend this storage unit.

I rented a 7.5 x 5 unit. My monthly payment started out at 75 a month. Next month it is supposed to go up to 183 so I emptied the unit. I had a unit in the basement and I have to make sure nothing is damaged from the water leak outside the facility.

The location is very secure requiring a code to access the building and the elevators. The code will only allow you to get to your floor which makes me feel even more secure. I called national archives and spoke to Brad who gave me an estimate over the phone. I was shocked at how reasonable their prices were. I scheduled a pick up a few days later and they came and took our 14 boxes from the basement without a problem and were so kind and courteous. 3 days later I got the certificate that all our documents had been shredded.
