first of all want to say that the front desk staff is extremely welcoming and very polite. I went to Dr. Arora to help with my severe TMJD. I was in terrible pain when I came to her. I had mentioned to her I was waiting for my sleep test results. She charged me $975 for a TMJ splint. While is was being made I called back the office to advise I have severe sleep apnea. She told me to wear the splint and called in muscle relaxers as well. I wore it for 1 month and was in so much pain I had to go to the ER. I called the office and she said I could then get her $3K Panthera oral appliance to wear since my sleep apnea was making the TMJ worse. Keep in mind she doesn't accept insurance for the sleep appliance. I decided to go to another specialist because spending an additional 3K was ridiculous. I went with the other specialist and they advised me that I was in stage 5 of severe TMJ and that I also had a tear on each disc in my jaw. I was told the appliance she made as well as the mandibular device would make everything ten times worse. The panoramic she took didn't show any of this. I called back to get a refund and she wouldn't return my calls or even return my text messages. Very unprofessional and its all about the money with her!! I had another dental office who I had seen prior to her and they refunded me my $$ when their particular splint didn't work as well. read more

I've had issues with this places for 2 years now, but since it's a pain to change the dr on my insurance and the care was OK, I sucked it up for me and my daughter. My husband was overcharged for mediocre care and has been paying out of pocket for his own care elsewhere. They take forever to call you back--one time the receptionist forgot to check me in and I was waiting over an hour for my appointment. They've canceled on me a lot and have very limited availability. They just canceled on my daughter Friday afternoon for her Monday afternoon appointment. When I tried to reschedule, nothing would work until 6 weeks later, meaning my daughter would go without a cleaning for 9 months. Mind you, I scheduled 7 months prior and they gave me not even a full workday of head's up. It seems like they prioritize a revolving door of clientele over building clientele from good service and care. We'll find somewhere else. read more

Two years ago, my nephew was billed for nine cavity fillings in one visit, which did not align with his (age 19) understanding of the treatment he received. We raised the issue with insurance, but never received clear follow-up regarding the review. More recently, I attended my niece's cleaning appointment, which lasted about ten minutes. Given her previous concerns that her cleanings felt ineffective, this was troubling to witness. Between questionable billing and very brief appointments, we do not feel confident in the level of care provided. I won't even talk about the fact i had to wait 45 minutes before they called me in. Its something that can happen at a doctors office or dentist or even a mechanic. Let me talk about the fact that this place is all about making money. I went for a regular clean up. After taking a bunch of x-rays the doctor came and looked at my teeth dissapeared. An office admin came to tell me that they will have to charge 242$ for the clean up. I agreed thats my fault. The clean up began i was in excrutiating pain and then they decided to give me Novacain. The Medicine kicked in after i was done. For 2-3 hours i had no feel in my mouth. They charged 370$ or so for teeth cleanup from my insurance and on top of that 242$ from me. The doctor spend 15 minutes tops and then told me to see her 3 times a year. Just highway robery. I didnt see the reviews but as you can all see they are terrible. I have never paid anything out of my pocket for teeth cleanup. Lesson learned. Stay away from this place. read more

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted a few weeks ago. The only complaint I have is my appointment was scheduled for 8 but I didn't get serviced until around 9:30-45. The surgery went smoothly under anesthesia and I was wheeled out the back where my person of care picked me up. This dentistry made sure pre surgery I had all of the information and breakdown of cost and even got more of my surgery covered. The dental assistant was very nice and made sure I felt comfortable pre surgery. Overall a positive experience. read more

I went here for years only because my insurance covered it and I am happy to be leaving! They don't check insurance before preforming x-rays and other procedures to make sure they're covered. I have to stop and have them check before every step to ensure I am not being overcharged. My brother went here as well and was told he had cavities but had to go to another office for the filling and they couldn't find any! I don't trust them and will not be returning even if it is my only choice. read more

The dentist dropped a drill in my mouth while extracting a tooth, and it sliced my cheek open. He then told me I would have to be put under anatheisia to have it removed. He literally sent me home bleeding, with half of my tooth missing! I was in extreme pain. He told me they would call in an antibiotic, and they never did! They never apologized for the large laceration in my mouth, from dropping the drill. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

They are ALWAYS running late. It doesn't matter what time you made your appointment for, the average wait is one hour. And this applies to other locations too. We have had appointments in other locations and they are always running late. They kept on filing my insurance claim to the wrong company and the wrong address. I just had a surgery (wisdom teeth removed) yesterday. Oh my gosh it was terrible terrible feeling. I think they gave me too much sedation treatment. I had so many times to use sedation in my life but I never felt this way.(I've always feel good) I was feel like I was in trap in weird world and I couldn't get out from there I tried to wake up because I hear them voice trying to wake me up. They put me in wheelchair and had to get out from back door My husband said i looked fucked up I don't want to go back here anymore I can't trust here anymore Ps They take many patients more than they can handle so staff is not enough. Showed up at 11:20 for a 11:30 appointment. At 11:50 I asked if there was a delay or were they behind. I was told they would have me in the chair in a couple of minutes. Put me in the chair with a bib and wanted to take some x-rays. I indicated I already had x-rays taken and just needed a cavity taken care of. They then said the dentist will be with you shortly. At 12:05 I had enough as nobody came back in the room and many individuals were walking around. I removed the bib and told them that I would find somewhere else to go as this type of treatment is unacceptable. Had an appointment for a cleaning with the dental hygienist. Arrived for my appointment on time and was told that the dentist would be cleaning my teeth today. OK. Dentist wasn't in the building and was told he was on his way. The office tried to reach out to the dentist but he never answered. Waited more than 30 minutes. I was told another dentist would be able to do the exam but I would need to reschule the cleaning. The dentist is never on time and always keeps his patients waiting. This is not something that patients should have to put up with. Patient time is just as valuable as anyone else. It is a shame that this dentist has no regard for the patient. This is not the first time that this dentist was a no show and also runs late. He seems to think that his time is more important then the patient. If you have an appointment expect to wait. Expect to have to reschule for certain services which was what your appointment was for because they doctor has no time. The dentist poor time management is at the expense of the patient. read more

I had an extraction and crown with Dr Xu (pronounced shoe) while Griffin assisted. My now teenaged daughter and I have been going to this office for years now and I've been extremely satisfied with the expansion, high tech equipment, professionalism and thoroughness but this visit was above impressive. I had a crown that needed to be replaced from 10+ years ago. Dr Xu explained my options clearly. I was able to split my payment AND the staff did all the legwork with my insurance before my appointment. We were so happy with their service, we decided to bring our 3 kids here too! We were scheduled to be the 1st appt for oral surgery at 7am, we arrived at 7 and it was just us there in the waiting room, we met the surgeon and talked about which teeth he was going to pull and went out front for our prices break down. At about 7:15 another young girl came in for her wisdom teeth appointment, somehow, she was taken before us and I thought well maybe because she will go faster and I have a lot of teeth to come out but no, we again were passed over for another person as well. So our 7am surgery time was more like 9am. When it was my turn, the surgery is done at the back of the office in an open area near people walking by and the back door to the office, the wall had scuff marks on it the light above my head was dusty inside the lens cover, there was no separation between the normal dental office and the area where the oral surgery was done. If it wasn't for the fact those was our only location my insurance would cover, I would have left upon seeing the cleanliness of operating area. The woman who sat with me while we waited for the oral surgeon to again finish someone else, was very nice and comforting. She laughed with me to ease my nerves and joked where I wanted to go while under general anesthesia. Finally, the dentist returned, and I was out before he even said hello to me. Upon waking up I don't remember anything other than a brief moment of being moved from the chair I was in and an extreme feeling of fighting for air. I remember thinking it will be okay a nurse will put oxygen on my nose soon and I will be fine. My vision was tracing like an old computer that got a lot of virus pop-ups spinning across the screen, when I realized I was in out car, and the person talking to me was my husband's voice which was distorted. My husband explained to me that when we got home, he had me hug around his neck so he could carry me around the waist to our door with my feet slightly dragging between his legs to get me to the backdoor of our home because I was unable to standup and walk. I remember I crawled on my hands and knees up the stairs into our back porch. I could not see anything except the fast tracing like images spinning when I opened my eyes. At one point my husband had to leave me sitting on the floor leaning against the door inside so he could return the car from the backyard grass to the garage. He literally had to pull into our grass to get the closest to the door since I couldnt stand and walk at all. In our opinion I was definitely still under anesthesia and in my opinion should not have been allowed to leave the observation of a nurse. I have been put to sleep before, but this was a nightmare! I should not have been allowed to leave the supervision of the doctor or nurse. My eyes were literally rolling back in my head, my head was like a rag doll, having difficultly holding it up. My mouth the next day was sore but not super painful.( I have 6 teeth pulled total) I was given an antibiotic and a steroid prescription. If I wasn't already on pain meds, I would have also been given Norco. In my opinion I truly think I was overdosed with anesthesia because in no way should I have been seeing tracers for hours after I got home. I couldn't speak properly even beyond the normal gauze in your mouth distortion. I wasn't able to convey to my husband how scared I was, I couldn't convey I was having trouble breathing and I repeatedly was trying to say OD ER to my husband so that he would take me to the ER and I could be helped. I was unable to convey those 4 letters to him to get him to understand something was very wrong. I have had Anesthesia many times, I always have been awaked in a recovery room monitored by a nurse. I have always been awakened with an oxygen tube on my nose. My husband was told I would be out of it for a few hours. So, although he was very worried, he didn't realize how scared I was. I have had several surgeries and never had this reaction to general anesthesia. Please be sure you have someone with you that can carry you if needed. read more

I was a new patient to Two Rivers Dental in January 2023. Since their claim processing department didn't process my paperwork within 3 months, my insurance company isn't covering the bill. Apparently, it's the patients responsibility to have the dental practice submit claims quickly, so beware of Two Rivers Dental's slow processing. My cleaning, xrays and 1 dental filling is costing me about $750 out of pocket! read more

This dental office should provide proper staff training! The experience of my last appointment was very poor. The dentist was fine, but the hygienist was very unprofessional. She started bad commenting my existing conditions while was performing the cleaning. Starting with one minor cavity that would not cause any repair soon, then about my bone loss (20+ years ago never progressed ) and lying about it's "active", and then went to built-up that was supposed to be clean, by saying "not using proper brushed"...eventually by inappropriately commenting my hair! Apparently this lady enjoyed herself work by shaming of the customer, once I was questioning, she said "it's my job to tell you what to do..." , which I had never asked for, nor she had asked if I wanted the "lecturing", poor attitude and very unprofessional! I surprised they seemed not understanding that their staff were so lack of professional training, how they could stay in business if pissing off the customer, letting customer unhappy! read more

Ok..... This place is an utter joke. One word DISREPECTFUL. So, earlier in the week I called and made an appointment for a root canal. The receptionist Ashley seemed very nice and helpful. Couple hours go by and I receive a text message telling me to complete my forms. I tried everything to find a link to click... nowhere to be found. I called the office and I brought this to their attention and they told me they would try and resend. Once again... nothing. I was then told that I can just come in and fill out the paper work. The day of my appointment comes and I arrive at 3:05pm due to coming from the city with traffic and what not. I proceeded to complete my paperwork and turn it back in. Moments later my name is called and I head back to the dental station.... I was told I needed x-rays which I got them very quickly from my primary dentist (took about 5 minutes or so) the dentist comes in and tells me we DO NOT have time for you today to do a root canal. I am seriously blown away that 1. I took work off early for this appt. 2. I was never notified about the xrays not being provided. 3. The unprofessionalism with this establishment is beyond words. 4. Complete waste of time. Ok....so now I'm pretty pissed off considering. So I'm told we would have to reschedule because I WAS 5 MIN LATE AND HAD TO FILL OUT PAPERWORK. So I told them you know know what dont even worry about it I'm going to have to go somewhere else. Then the snotty little receptionist Ashley completely disrespected me and tried blaming me and my 5 min. tardiness for the reason why they couldn't do the procedure I was promised....while getting smart with me about having to fill out the forms. This wouldn't have been an issue if there was some due diligence to getting proper documentation from ME the patient knowing your system is down. That woman needs an attitude adjustment that's for sure. Ya ok. Never going back to Two Rivers Dental. Our family have been going to Two Rivers Dental for our dentist need for the past few years. I can't believe that it took them almost 3 months to get a flexi denture made for my bottom front tooth that they had removed. Yesterday, I went to a different dentist office (Aspen) and they found that the Dental Implant that two rivers had done for me will need to be remove as it was failing. Aspen says that they would have not recommended a dental implant for me as my jaw bone doesn't have the structure to properly hold a dental implant, however; Two Rivers keeps insisting for dental implants, which I did in one of my molar that is now failing. Two Rivers (Dr. Xu) again recommended to get another dental implant for my other molar that I asked for a partial denture, I'm glad that I didn't listen this time. Now, I'm with Aspen having a plan to have the failed dental implant remove that two rivers did a couple of years ago. My partial denture is also going to be useless as the dental implant that helps hold the partial will be remove. Lost about $4000 worth of dental work from Two Rivers, this place is scam. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE! This is the worst medical office I have ever been to. Unprofessional, rude and incompetent staff. Dr. Atassi should be prevented from practicing, he is that bad. My son was seen for periodontal grafts. Atassi took tissue from the roof of his mouth and did not put in a guard to protect the roof area while healing over a two week period. Also, we were given wrong instructions for medicine and was told to use an astringent mouthwash immediately after grafts. Excrutiating pain for my son, roof wound wasn't healing and he couldn't eat or speak. So, we went to see another periodontist who informed us that a roof guard for the mouth is standard procedure and imperitive for pain control and healing. Also said the mouthwash should not have been used until 3 days after surgery because it basically killed the tissue that was grafted. So after three weeks of pain and expense, we had to start all over again. Have been trying to get a medical records release from from them so we can have his records sent to a different doctor, but they continue to ignore my repeated requests. read more

Watch out! The dentist talked me into something I didn't want, and it caused problems and pain I didn't have! I went in for 1 crown they said I needed, even though they never showed me x-rays or proof of why I needed it, and I had no pain or symptoms. During the appointment to get fitted for 1 crown, they said they discovered a "small crack" in another tooth and should get another crown at the same time. I was hesitant. I saw no x-rays or proof of why I needed a second one and felt no pain. But they insisted it would get worse and within a few weeks it would break, and I would need an implant which is more expensive. Of course this has never happened to me in my life, but they scared me and coerced me. So I agreed against my better judgment. I found out later they were charging me MORE THAN DOUBLE of the original cost because "my insurance ran out." So now I've committed to them taking two of my perfectly good teeth and replacing them with fake crowns for $900, and I don't even have any problems with the teeth! They give me temporary crowns and say the permanent ones will be in within a couple weeks. I ask what to do to take care of the temporary crowns, and they said you can do everything normally except don't eat anything chewy for a couple hours. I don't eat all day. Then ONE DAY LATER I am brushing and flossing my teeth and the new crown (the second one I didn't want) pops off. Now I am in pain. They drilled down my original perfectly good tooth to nothing, and it feels like the nerves are exposed. It's horrible. They caused this. So I call to get an appointment to get it fixed immediately, and they are closed and have just an answering machine. NO EMERGENCY NUMBER. So I have to suffer all day today and miss work to get the problem they caused fixed. I go in the next day, and they tell me I should not have flossed the regular way. But they didn't tell me that when I asked what to do to protect the temporary crown! They reattach the temporary crown, and that night it comes off AGAIN! Now I have to go back a third time for pain and problems caused by them taking a took I didn't want them to take that was causing me NO issues. I have to miss another 2.5 hours of work today because of their medical mistake. Be cautious of this dental group! The one who worked on me bragged about his BMW. They look in your mouth and see $$$$. read more

I'm not an actual patient here but I have sat in their waiting room too many times to see that their reception staff are VERY unprofessional. On multiple occasions I've heard them discuss private patient information amongst each other and talking bad of their patients. One of the receptionists with red hair was actually yelling and raising her voice loudly at a patient who called about a dispute. I thought working in customer service meant that you have to be able to handle unhappy patients? Based off of their receptionists alone, I would not recommend anyone come here. It's the dental assistant - she didn't wash her hands and she touched everything with her gloves -from the X-ray machine, the bars and all --- then she went in my mouth with her gloves on. I was referred to Dr. Xu for a root canal, he was extremely arrogant, when I asked questions, he responded by saying "I have been doing this for X amount of years, I think I know what I'm doing" I STILL have pain in that area. Dr. ATTASSI is the ABSOLUTE WORST. He performed work on me that I SPECIFICALLY asked him NOT TO. After performing said work, I was stuck with the aftermath, the office manager Nancy said she would not charge me for the "new equipment" I was going to need because of what he did....SHE CHARGED ME. They were not prepared for my appointment, I was stuck there TWICE as long as I should have been, because they didn't take the necessary impressions at the first appointment, or have the right equipment for me. After being jerked around for 2 months I finally asked for my money back (I was stupid as hell and paid in full before all work was completed) Nancy not only charged me for work she said she wasn't going to (BECAUSE DR. ATTASSI PERFORMED IT AFTER I ASKED HIM NOT TO) She ALSO charged my insurance company! I would not recommend this place to ANYONE! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE, AND HEADACHE!! read more

If 0 stars was possible, I would rate it that. I called and asked how much a cleaning would be, they told me $49 special: cleaning, exam and X-ray. Bait and switch warning! Surprise, even though I told them my last cleaning was in 2015 and the doctor saying everything looks good (no cavities, no gum disease) they couldn't do a regular cleaning and had to schedule me for a deeper cleaning. They then charged $39 and tried to schedule a $69 appointment for cleaning. The worst part was the violation of privacy. The hygienist read my medical history out loud, very loud, in the presence of everyone being treated and staff. Literally. I can't think of a worse dental experience except if they actually used sharp instruments. The office equipment is shabby and wobbles so she had to redo my X-ray repeatedly. Basically, the office staff is extremely unprofessional and I wouldn't let them clean dog poo off my lawn if they changed professions. read more
