Overall the staff is very nice and Dr. Gibson seems very knowledge and you can tell this staff likes working for her. However, they constantly try to sell me Invisalign which requires more time for pictures and the sales pitch. I just want my annual cleaning and moving on. Which is also fine, I understand they're a business. But I wont be back after today. There are multiple pictures with trump in the waiting area. The entire experience to me was a MONEY GRAB. You can never go and get your necessary work done without being asked or required to "upgrade" or spend more money out of pocket. Her staff I can tell is pushed to sell at all times. I almost feel like I'm in a car dealership...didn't like the pressure. I snatched my entire family of 4 from this office unfortunately for that reason, not because they weren't nice, just too money hungry...the picture of TRUMP in the waiting room sealed the deal for me. One of my most regrettable choices - believing Dr. Gibson when she told me I was an ideal candidate for Invisalign and then allowing her to treat me. I do not recommend this Dr. at all. Dr. Gibson sold me an Invisalign treatment package and while receiving "treatment" from this Doctor, I repeatedly told her many, many times that I was in severe pain and that I never had pain before starting up with Invisalign. The Dr. told me over and over again that my pain was in no way caused by Invisalign... even though my symptoms started just after treatment. I trusted her and believed her at first... but OVER A YEAR LATER and many moments of excruciating pain... she finally realized that "OH! You have TMJ/TMD." This diagnosis, in fact, was so easy for her to recognize, that all she had to do was have me open my mouth wide to see that my jaw clicked in and out of place. According to Align Technologies: "Align Technology, the manufacturer that created Invisalign recommends that orthodontists do not treat any patient who has symptoms of TMJ with Invisalign. I went to Grove Dental for several years until the dentist I had retired and a new doctor took over-Dr Sanaa Bhimji. I got x-rays done and a cleaning. The technician thought tooth 31 looked off and had the Dr check it out. She came in the room and was saying how my tether were getting rotted and I desperately needed a crown on tooth 31. In my mind, I'm like-how can that be? I was here 6 months ago and nobody said anything about how tooth 31 is really bad. So they wanted me to schedule an appointment right then and there. I knew something seemed off and wanted a second opinion so I said I'll call them when I'm ready for the crown (not). Oh and the. We dentist wouldn't take blue cross blue shield-I'm like-wtf?! So I called my dental insurance and explained my problem and they gave me a full listing of dentists in the area. I found Dr Gibsons name and read all the positive reviews and decided to have her review tooth 31. I made my appointment for November 7. I got there right away and the staff was very nice. The office was spacious and felt very homey. I immediately got called to the back and met with Debbie who asked me questions about my visit. I was telling her about my experience with Grove Dental and how this new Doctor wanted me to get a crown put on tooth 31. She took her own x-rays and said something was going on with that tooth but wanted to double check with Dr Gibson. The Doctor came in and she was very pleasant and personable. She and Debbie explained to me what they saw on the x-rays which I really enjoyed. Dr Gibson said I had cracked my filling and I didn't need a crown. I was so relieved to hear the news! They asked if I wanted to get it fixed right there and I said sure! So they numbed my mouth and Dr Gibson was explaining a lot of things to me with reference to the x-rays and with regards to my mouth. She was so informative and very easy to talk to. I learned a lot during my visit there! After I got my filling taken care of-scheduled my next appointment and was talking to my parents and husband about my experience with Dr Gibson. She, Debbie and the entire staff were so great and I enjoyed my visit there extremely. I am so happy I found Dr Gibson and looking forward to my next teeth cleaning there! read more

I came to this office because I was recommended by a friend after my dentist retired. My retired dentist has been my dentist my entire life. I went in for a cleaning, and left 3 hours later without one. There was no opportunity during that time to refuse what they recommended and receive the cleaning I was there for. They recommended greater than $1700 in out of pocket care, 7 visits, and multiple times they told me that this is the "best care for my dental health, but overall it's my decision to choose it." They recommended a deep cleaning, gingival irrigation, laser treatment, and an antibiotic powder. Most of which wasn't covered under my dental insurance. I decided to get a second opinion. I went to another dentist my boss recommended, who is part of an established dentist group. The deep cleaning and out of pocket cost recommended by Dr.Gibson and her staff was unnecessary. I'm very happy I decided to go with another dentist, and not return for any more additional visits. read more

Simply put, this is by far, the best Dentist I've ever had, my whole life. I know it sounds like a cliche, and I was a little skeptical too when my friend referred me to these guys. I'm a strong believer in - 'Build a relationship first, and business will follow.' - But man, I have never - EVER - been so pleased with my dentist and ALL the hygienists who work there, as I am with these guys. It almost sounds insincere, because who really likes their Dentist, much less love going to see them twice a year? I dreaded all my dentist visits in the past. Because they all seem to find a reason to drill, only so that they can get their money from your dental insurance company. It would always frustrate me because I'd always question the validity of the issues they would "find". It all changed when I came to this office. Their knowledge of the practice and the skill-set they all poses is just mind blowing. I've been going to different dentists for years, and NONE of them gave me the same insight, appreciation and desire for taking care of my teeth, as Dr Gibson - and the amazing staff that works there - has given me. What blew me away, wasn't their state-of-the-art equipment or fancy posters or even their above-and-beyond, welcoming and pleasant bed side manner. But it was their deep knowledge of the practice. Listening to them is like listening to a Documentary. With every visit, you're always learning new and best ways of how to take care of your teeth, in a way that no other dentist office has ever explained previously. You will not leave that place without fully understanding the full scope of your bite relationship, what needs to be taken care of, and WHY it's important! - I love that about them. Another thing I really liked about these guys is, not only will they try and access your dental insurance's for any work that needs to be done, before taking a single penny out of your wallet. I've done ER visit, full cleaning, and about to head into root canal and restorations. Oh, and I'm deathly afraid of the dentist. Everyone has been prompt, kind, and very informative. This review is temporary. I will update, letting Dr. Gibson's work speak for itself. UPDATE: Scared for my root canal, but nothing hurt! My family saw Dr. Gibson for several years. BEWARE FRAUD. She is friendly, office is well managed, lots of amenities. BUT, the dentistry is questionable. Many times something had to be reworked. She is also a bit unclear when explaining what needs doing. I now believe this is because she is making up false needs. She told my husband he needed 2 crowns. So, I am normally not a person to stop and write a review but, Dr. Gibson, her staff and the ambience of her dental practice blew me away! I have visited my share of dentist, and this practice by far was the most amazing. From the moment I stepped foot through the door I felt welcomed, relaxed and it was very clean. I had to have a broken tooth extracted and when I say I was really concered, I mean it! However, Dr. Gibson and her assistant made me feel as comfortable as possible by offering me a pillow and a blanket and giving me a parafinn hand treatment(yess that's what I said) while my numbing meds kicked in. I was also talked through each step which is very comforting to know what's going on. My 5 yr old son enjoyed the awesome kiddie area and my Hubby loved the complimentary coffee and that there were two TV's and he didn't have to watch the kiddie shows!! I left the office very pleased and in little to NO pain! Im actually looking forward to my next visit and pampering :) They also accept kiddos, I will be switching my son to this practice as well and my Hubby. As noted, dental patients include everyone from "celebrities." I have no complaints about her work, but the treatment plan she presents will always be the most expensive and likely top of the line. If you have a celebrity budget, this is a the place for you. I got a 17K estimate (of which insurance would not cover) because I grind my teeth. The recommendation was porcelain to line my teeth. Let's just say that a lot of other more cost efficient solutions were available (as in 90% cheaper and effective) that were not presented to me. I went three times total, but did not come back after the 17k estimate. My recommendation to Dr. Gibson, present multiple treatment options of varying costs to your clients not just the most expensive. Even if someone could pay top dollar it doesn't mean that they want to. read more

This place is the best example of a high end facility that will do anything to take money out of your pocket. complete rip off. I went there for a couple of treatments and every single time felt extremely pressurized to buy services and use up all the procedures that my insurance covered. I wasnt satisfied with the procedure they did on my teeth so i went in for a follow up. Dr gibson took a couple of pictures of my teeth and went out of the room without saying a single word to me. Then i was escorted out of the exam room. Only to be rudely told at the reception area that Dr gibson thinks there is nothing wrong with the treatment that she did. and refused to do anything about it. I felt insulted and ripped off. (it was an expensive procedure that im talking about) I agree that the staff is very friendly But as long as you keep paying them. their office looks like its Dr Gibson's personal residence, literally they have like a thousand pictures of dr gibson on their walls. some are relevant to dentistry, others not so much. Obviously, she is using her hollywood activities to impress clients. I would never trust them again. Please dont go there. read more

Dr. Gibson convinced my husband and me to update many of our composite fillings with very expensive porcelain fillings. She told us long term that they would be the best way to go as they are extremely durable, and they are unlikely to allow bacteria to leak into the filled teeth. Long story short, one year later, we have both had numerous problems with her work, i.e. cracked porcelain fillings and fillings falling out of our teeth. We are now seeing a new dentist who is trying to rectify Dr. Gibson's work. read more
