Sliced Brisket Sandwich (closed) with a side of Mac n cheese
    Jimmy N.

It's a small local spot with delicious food. The food here was outstanding, and I highly recommend their homemade tots and Mac n cheese. However, I was slightly disappointed they gave me sliced toast as opposed to the brioche bun. I usually assume that it comes with the brioche but I'll ask for it next time. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely go again.

I don't usually crave BBQ but it was on my mind recently, so I decided to check out Two Scotts again since I hadn't had it since 2015! Their online ordering system was super easy to use and I was able to select a time for pickup. There was a short line when I arrived, but I told the person at the cash register that I was there for an online order pickup. I did end up waiting a bit past my pickup time, but it was the beginning of the lunch rush so totally understandable. There is no indoor seating or dining room, but they do have a few picnic tables set up in the back off of the parking lot. They were all full when I was there, so you may need to get your order to go or have a car picnic! Whenever I try a BBQ place I always get the brisket as my baseline order, then add anything else that sounds good. In this case, it was sausage and wings. Plus a side of pimento mac and cheese, because I love mac and cheese! I love that they have several different sauces to choose from - I LOVE sauce! I got one of each: house BBQ, hot BBQ, South Carolina mustard, dog sauce, and verde. They give suggestions for pairing each sauce + meat, which was handy. I ended up loving the dog sauce, which is mayonnaise based, so not for everyone, and also the South Carolina mustard sauce as I'm a big fan of the mustard based sauces. Now on to the food - everything was great, but my favorite was the brisket. It was perfectly smoked and juicy, and not dry at all. It didn't even need any sauce, and to me, that's the mark of a tasty brisket. I also loved the sausage! The wings were big and meaty and also tasty, but I would have preferred them dry instead of tossed with sauce. I'm not sure if that was a misunderstanding on my end due to the online ordering, but I would still order them again in the future. Everyone working there was super friendly despite it being really busy. I can definitely see Two Scotts becoming my go-to spot for BBQ! They also have some interesting specialty sandwiches that sounded great.

Fantastic bbq. Great sauces. All our sides were delicious. The tater tots are extremely good and the kids loved the Mac n cheese.

YUMMM! I was craving bbq and man did this hit the spot! I ordered pulled pork sandwiches with a side of pimento Mac n cheese! They were so good! The meat is super flavorful! It is so worth getting, even as take out! They have a nice set up for ordering food safety. Only downfall is there hours, they close super early which is tough if you work.

Stopped here based on some other reviews and it was close to where we were headed. I am so glad we did and we will be back!! The burnt ends were let's just say the best I've ever had!! Sometimes I find them too burnt and dry but nope these were moist and smoky and delicious! Speaking of Smokey- the mushrooms... I just didn't know that mushrooms could be smoked. I mean sure anything can be smoked, but wow!! From when the fork went up to my mouth to the last gulp you would inhale that Smokey taste. The mushrooms just held the smokiness so much it was incredible!! The pulled pork was very flavorful, some of the best in MI (according to my husband). Not dry at all, again very smokey! Try the sauces too! I was caught off guard but ordered one I think with a horseradish!

I ordered pulled chicken smoked baked beans and an extra potato salad the pulled chicken was not pulled it was chunky big chunks of chicken nowhere near pulled this smoke baked beans were okay at best and the potato salad the potatoes were almost raw not cooked all the way. I will not be going back that was my first and last time somebody need to teach them what pulled chicken is supposed to look like and how to cook potatoes until they're done

Our office had a large catering order for lunch and it was fantastic. The only hiccup was that they forgot our potato salad but they called us and delivered it all the way to our office even though we picked the rest up earlier. The sauce options were great for everyone to have their pick. The dog sauce was actually very tasty with all the meat and corn bread. Overall, our office will use this a lot more and I definitely recommend trying it out. I'm looking forward to stopping by and having a meal on their patio as well.

Burnt ends, brisket and sausage made up our Combo #3. I've eaten BBQ all over this country and Two Scots holds their own with any of them.

Very good burnt ends - great bark. Brisket sandwich also top notch. One of the best I've had, stands w/o sauce.

The atmosphere was so relaxing and made the whole experience even better. My server was the sweetest and recommended the Limoncello Spritz, which ended up being light, crisp, and super refreshing. For my entrée, I ordered the Mafaldine. The pasta was fresh, the steak was cooked perfectly, and everything was seasoned so well. It was a very satisfying meal. Between the beautiful outdoor seating, incredible service, and amazing food, Gin Gin's is easily one of the restaurants I'll be visiting again whenever I'm in Grand Rapids.

Food is fresh, service is excellent and the ambiance is cool too. My waitress was on it with her recs! She helped me find a gin drink to my linking and talked up the scallops. I got them and loved it! Dishes were a bit garlicky, but I like garlic! The bed tartar was wonderful and I enjoyed how they "chunked" the meat instead of making it a mush. My friend got a steak on top of the gnocchi and really enjoyed it! Overall I think this restaurant is worth the hype and canto wait to dine here again! It's important to know that if you want to dine here, plan to reserve a table ahead or plan to wait for a table. They hold 50% of table s for walk ins. Parking DT is always a challenge and once they build the soccer stadium, I imagine it will be craziness. It just takes a bit of planning.

I was surprised at how long it took for the 2 hosts to greet us - as we were standing directly in front of them. They were talking to one another, and it was probably work related, but to just stand there staring at them for a couple minutes while they ignored us was awkward. When they finally talked to us they weren't very friendly. Anyway, we made our way to the bar and it was full except for 3 seats. I think the bartender waiting on us was new. He seemed like he was pretty overwhelmed/in the weeds. He greeted us quickly and brought us waters when he did, which I appreciated. I ordered a Blackeberry Bourbon Sour and my Mr had Paloma Nuestra. We both enjoyed our drinks they were refreshing and well crafted. For dinner I had a really hard time deciding! I wanted to try so many things! Our bartender said his favorite thing in the menu is the chicken and rice bowl. That was something I was considering and decided to go with that. Excellent recommendation! The chicken was flavorful and so tender. The hot peppers were a nice touch. There was a lot of food too! I couldn't finish it all. Mr had the hanger steak that was served with mushroom and asparagus risotto. He said the risotto was the best he's ever had, and I agree. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and so was the steak. The space is really nice, felt intimate without being overcrowded. We are looking forward to coming back!

You can eat, drink, and play golf - you can do it all or you can do just one. However, if you plan on playing golf / using a simulator bay, you should call or go online and make a reservation. It gets busy there. I love that they have seasonal cocktails. They had some special ones for st Patrick's day. They also have happy hour M-F from 2-6pm. I booked a bay, it charges per 30 min. The hour was $65. I had one cocktail. I got a briefing on the system and I was on my way to playing a very difficult golf course in South Korea. They have club upgrades but I stuck with the standard bag. I had a great time. Next time I will choose an easier golf course! Also, I believe the server calculates their tip not only on what you buy but also your bay time. So I'll review my check a little closer next time. The sell golf gloves if you need one/forgot yours. The team is organized, quick and very nice! Note they do sell out fast but as to be expected they have amazing food! The portion sizes are HUGE! We split the fries between a family of four (two small children, two adults) and it was perfect! There fried pickles are no joke! They are spears and you get a bunch! They also have the best sweet potatoe fries! Very crispy and seasoned well. And the main event was the smash burgers! They were still pretty thick but packed so much flavor! The patty had a nice crispy edge and those caramelized onions were amazing with the American cheese! We also had a crispy chicken sandwich what made it was the avocado spread because overall the patty was a little bland. Maybe a spicy option would be an idea! We also tried the onion rings and those were great too! Things to note for consumers: they offer ketchup packets maybe like 2 or 3 per order (we had a lot of fried food so it didn't seem enough for all we got plus we had 4 people sharing these). Because we had a ton I would have loved a ketchup pump or at least a ton more packets. As far as dipping sauces, they have an array of flavors but they charge for each one. That adds up quickly. Maybe the first one free with your sides? Sides are called "beach bites" and they are $8 each. Well priced and hefty on portions! We saw people getting the chicken bites and let me tell you those plates were literally stacked! And they looked super crispy! Burgers and sandwiches range from $10-16 depending on what you get. Lots of great options! The line was LONG!!! But they give you a beeper with a number on it once you place and pay for your order. That helps keep people from piling up in front of the window. What a great idea! The vibe of this food truck is definitely that fun beachy feel. I would recommend this food truck over and over again!

After contacting the restaurant, I was told the missing items would be remade and ready in about 20 minutes. It ultimately took closer to 45 minutes, and I had to drive to the restaurant myself to pick up food that should have arrived correctly the first time. That said, what changed my opinion was how the team handled the situation afterward. The General Manager personally came out, apologized sincerely, gave me her card, and told me to contact her directly so she could make things right. She took ownership of the mistake rather than making excuses, which I genuinely appreciated. Nobody likes dealing with a missing order, and there is definitely room for improvement in their Uber Eats process. However, mistakes happen in every business. What matters is how a company responds when things go wrong, and Stella's showed they care about their customers and reputation.
