It taste like it came from a family member's house. It was filled with ingredients and had a lot of flavor. The pork steak meal I had came with a drink and was under $18. They give a lot of food so you can eat off the same plate for lunch and dinner or split a plate with someone. For me the greens were a little salty, and my mom felt like her bbq smoked chicken breast was a little dry. However we enjoyed everything else. My pork steak was very tender and the green beans had a good flavor. We've had fried chicken from them in the past and it was okay. They dropped it fresh (which was nice) just felt like it needed a little more seasoning. The fried fish is pretty good from there too. I'd say give it a try if you are in the parish. It's located right by Pj's coffee and Gerald's donuts.

We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side.
