Says they are open till 11am but I got there 9:05am on a Friday and they were sold out. I wanted a dozen glazed but all they had was a flat box on top of the counter with a couple dozen random donuts. The staff wasnt really friendly, no apology, no greeting, no thank you. I had never been but was planning on bringing them to a friend who said he liked them. I ended up getting 6 glazed holes. In hindsight I'm glad I didnt get the donuts since the donut holes were dense and not great. I guess they are trying to reduce waste by stopping production so early but I wonder how much they lost with the people in front of and behind me who walked out. Went this morning to let my grandson pick out some donuts and the cinnamon rolls looked good so bought two for my neighbor. The counter woman at first put the cinnamon rolls in a small box and I thought that was perfect but then she took them out and bagged them. I wish I would have said something, being in the small bag they stuck together and the icing came off. Wished I hadn't tipped her either since she ruined the cinnamon rolls. Once again, amazing donuts! I got a whole bunch of pumpkin spice doughnuts in November. But the best part was the HANGRY! Glazed doughnuts used as bread and in between is the breakfast sandwich. It definitely woke me up! I hope it stays permanently on the menu! read more

I wasn't super impressed. Inside is a little messy and they didn't have very many options for donuts just what was in the display case. I got one old fashioned donut and it was okay. A little stale. The staff was nice-ish and they do take Apple Pay. I probably won't come back though. What a delightful donut shop to pop into. There were so many options for fancy and plain donuts! I tried the peanut butter cream cheese and it was delicious with a hot cup of coffee. They even have a cute set up with high chairs and a counter up to enjoy your coffee and donuts! read more

Not only is the baker argumentative and willfully ignorant, he's also rude and condescending to his customers (of a certain demographic of course). He doesn't wear gloves, a hairnet, or a beard net when making your donut or king cake creation, so prepared to have hair in your food (check the business fb page for footage.) If you try to place an order that doesn't align with his political views, prepare to have your messages posted on his personal Facebook (edited to make him seem like he actually knows what he's talking about), where he threatens to tamper with your donuts. Political views shouldn't matter when you're running a business, but not only is the customer service garbage, but one should have proper hygiene and take precautions when preparing your food... Especially during the pandemic. So, when you Chow down on your "let's go Brandon" custom Creation ( with a C instead of a G because ironically he can't spell) and you catch one of the strains of the coronavirus, you know what you got it. 0.5, and the .5 is only because his donuts actually look like donuts... I heard a lot about this donut shop and gave it two tries. The first time was ok but out of mixed dozen at least 4 seemed really stale. I tried again a second time and was greeted by two young women who informed me they had a single tray of random items, that they "could" make me fresh ones but the tray is what they were willing to sell me. I used to work on Jefferson highway, and I pass this place literally dozens of times without really giving it a second thought. I decided to try this morning because Me and my son had something to do in Elmwood and this was kind of on the way home. I think 85% of the donut places around here are basically "fine." None of them really offend me, but for the most part there not really anything special. This place was amazing. We picked up a chocolate covered with Eminem's, some donut holes, an Apple fritter, chocolate peanut butter, and some sort of Berry Chantilly-esque donut, And they were all really great. To top it off, this place is uncharacteristically decorated with images of some sort of demon like creatures, as well as a large poster featuring Pennywise the Dancing Clown . They don't fit the typical aesthetic of your average donut shop, But it's metal as **** and I dig it. read more

Mediocre. I ordered an $8 breakfast sandwich that I could've made at home. Also ordered hashbrowns that I never got. All donuts were sold out. Being that it was a Sunday, it's somewhat understandable. Although you'd think if they know how limited their inventory can get on weekends, they would make more? Come on man , the cost of things are going up but, water, flour, sugar,& (depending or which) butter or oil gets used isn't that much pricey. A single glazed donut should NOT be $1.43 with tax. A single glazed donut shouldn't be more than a dollar with tax. Get y'all's shit together, you sale burgers and don't even have fries. I'm getting sick of y'all's shit & inconsistency. Tried the donuts and absolutely loved them. In the past I've worked at a very well known donut shop in the Jefferson area and I think if you live in the area you should try out Little J's as well. I loved the fun variety of donuts and the vibe going on in the store. I would definitely recommend stopping by and trying them out. I'm all for trying out new places and supporting local small business. read more
