Location is strange - But, I found it. Store is well stocked and clean. No foul odor when you enter the premise, which is unusual for these types of stores. Skip to today for my appointment...I arrived and no one was in the grooming station so I pressed the button that said "press here for assistance" and waited and nothing. Pressed it again a few minutes later and waited and nothing. Then, a cashier from the front of the store comes in and asked if I had an appointment and I said that I did and was told that I could drop my dog off early. He then went to go find someone who worked in the grooming department and they came in saying that they didn't open until 9 and that she had to get the computers "turned on and ready to go". I said I'd not be waiting because I was already over it and her attitude was less than welcoming. My wife decided to go back in and take him and the groomer told her this time that "because my dog was in the system as a Boxer mix" that he'd have to be picked up immediately following his appointment 45 minutes after we dropped him off. Again, we had tickets to an event for my sons birthday which is why we asked to drop our dog off early in the first place. Anyway, she told us that because he was a "Boxer mix" that they had breathing issues and they weren't allowed to be crated in the back. 1) That is the furthest thing from the truth as I've seen Boxer mixed dogs there before. 2) Our dog had been going to that location for the last 3 years. We ended up having to go back home with our dog because they refused to take our dog and provide the service we had scheduled and have had done for THREE YEARS. Don't waste your time with this location. They are always rude and never accommodating.

I tried contacting multiple groomers and even mobile ones, but they of course would not just come for a nail trim. I contacted Dog Bites to see about their grooming and I have been able to contact them each and every time, to bring Rocky in when no other dog is around or if there is one, someone will hold the other dog in another area of the store while Rocky is the only one in the grooming area. Love that it will never be like a zoo in there since they don't have the space, nor do they cage animals once they are done. They are great with trimming his nails and we have never had to wait long! I highly recommend Dog Bites. They are fantastic and are very friendly! Glad we have found them and can positively say they are now our groomer forever!

From my experience with dogs, the technician needs more training on reading and interacting with dogs. Or this clinic is more interested in selling unnecessary products than providing patient-centered care. My dog loves going to the vet and is usually very loved by staff. He wasn't barking, growling, or snapping, he just kept trying to tuck himself next to me. He made it very clear he was uncomfortable with their approach, and instead of adjusting the approach, the response was to suggest calming medication. Maybe I just had bad luck with the tech; I heard great things about this place. But I'll trust my boy's intuition and not put him through that again.

When we went to adopt a rescue dog my husband's only request was "no pugs or poodles". I had no problem with that...until I fell in love with the sweetest brown-eyed, cream and apricot pure bred poodle ever. And being a generous husband he allowed us to bring the dog home. I asked many groomers if they could give him a hair cut to make him look less like a poodle and I was met with blank stares and confused faces...and bad hair cuts. I finally brought him to Sherry, explained the situation, and she actually listened! She asked what kind of dog my husband preferred and when I told her he didn't mind west highland terriers she nodded and told me to come back in a few hours. When I came back to pick up our dog, there was this beautiful, long-legged, white sweetheart who looked like the most perfect blend of poodle and westie. Sherry has been our groomer ever since. She has also boarded for us occasionally and I swear our dog seems sad when we come to pick him up. TLDR; Sherry puts her heart and soul into the care of the dogs entrusted to her and we've never once been disappointed.
