I normally take my dog here to get her groomed and the service is always good. I even tip. But yesterday I dropped my dog off to get groomed and I didn't have a good experience I called to find out what time my dog would be ready and the lady that answered the phone stated that she would be ready at 4pm just for me to call right back and the groomer said that my dog would be ready in 10 minutes. When I arrived to pick my dog up the groomer was outside in the parking lot so a man had to give me my dog he also stated to me that the groomer said I could no longer bring my dog here because I had a attitude. In which I did not. Now I was upset but I didn't have an attitude. The groomer Amanda is the one who made the statement about me not being able to bring my dog back after I already paid and tipped her. So yes I wanted my tip back because if I'm paying for a service I expect great customer. Also when I dropped my dog off she showed me the chart of the different cuts and I picked the one I wanted I also stated that I wanted my dogs ears clipped the same length as her face she didn't do that either. I spend so much money here and I always bring my dog here for her grooming needs. But after yesterday will not be returning. read more

Pet Supplies is our go to for everything for our pets. The staff has always been very friendly and welcoming-our go to store... however, today we had a horrible visit with an extremely unfriendly lady named Sam, working at the register. She was very rude and then proceeded to talk crap to her co-worker at the other register as we were walking out of the door. I'm almost done with this place, always try to shop/support local but they frequently don't have the flavors of cat food that my boys like. I also learned recently that the coupons they have in the mailed flyer are only valid for instore purchases. I normally order online trying to check out with the 10% coupon which did not work. Called store & they advised those coupons are only valid for instore purchases. It's a nominal amount of savings but why would you do that to local customers? There was an issue checking out, cashier could not get into the system, her password did not work and had to call an associate 3 times before I could complete my transaction. read more

New to area, dropped by to walk around with our pup to see if she liked the store, so i could get her groomed here. Recommended by a neighbor. Our first visit was a hit! Our dog loved the friendly staff & free treats. She was curious of the store & went down each aisle to check it all out & gave it her approval. I made a grooming appt. $30 for a golden bath, nails, ears. $7.50 more for grinding her nails & special shampoo (we just needed the grinding so shampoo was a bonus). Another nearby groomer wanted $40 plus $12.50. The groomers were great! Our girl loved her groom & was excited to get out of the car to go back in the store. They did a great job & we can't believe how soft her hair is! They also have a self-serve dog wash next to groomer & can take walk-in for nails. I think if u just do nails its about $12.50 for grinding. The self-groom is $10 per wash or 5/$25. Thats a great deal & they provide everything & u don't have to clean your bath if u bathe your dog at home. The clerks are helpful & knowledgeable. Was looking for a new kibble & they also have a 28day return as long as u have at least half bag left. Will be back, even if just a social visit as my dog seems to really like this store & staff! read more

I love the dog wash stations, pet supplies plus provides ample towels for drying as well as various shampoos for your use! I absolutely love the personalized notes on your order when you place an online order for pick up. I actually have a nice collection of the postcards placed in with purchase.... I went there for help finding foods that my kitty, with Cancer, might actually eat so she can keep up her strength. The staff was absolutely amazing to me, listened to my worries, through my tears, patiently trying to offer suggestions and guidance to help me, help my cat. Wouldn't go anywhere else anymore and for a stand alone business, their prices were very reasonable and comparable to any other supply store. at first glance, it is a nice place. Then the ugly comes out in the grooming section. I'd stay away from that if I were you. I've been raising dogs for years and never ran into the discord that goes on in that grooming salon. The incompetence is unbelievable and the way they talk to customers is beyond unacceptable. Even the owner is a loudmouth and sticks up for ignorance of his employees. This is not to be taken as a retaliation, but as the minimal truth of what goes on in that crazy house! If you haven't witnessed it yet, you will. Take your business elsewhere to people that deserve it! if I hadn't been threatened by several employees, including the owner, I would post the pictures of the last grooming done on my dog. Atrocious to say the least. my dogs ear was cut and she was cut near her mouth and nobody even said anything it was after I got her home and she was sitting there on my lap that I noticed it. Everybody can perceive things the way they want to, but I live in the land of reality and my dogs are part of my family. Obviously other people don't think that way because anybody they gave this business five stars has lost their mind and they're not paying attention. read more

Amazing staff and great selection. The grooming department is by far the best in the area. They truly care about the animal and treat them as if they were their own. I visit Pet Supplies Plus about once a month to purchase my dog Mia's food. (I usually can't leave without buying her some treats, too.) The employees at this location always go out of their way to say hello and offer Mia a cookie when we come to the store. Everyone we've encountered has been very friendly and pleasant. We just had the best grooming experience with Joelle H! To start booking an appointment online was really easy (I'm sure you can call too - but I liked this option). They keep dogs in personal kennels when they're not being worked on, not in a group. It's clean, the groomers are friendly, it's behind glass so you can see everything, they ask for proof of rabies vaccination (which hopefully no one gets bitten, but really smart that it's required), they were on time and our little girl looks so great and happy. I'm on the fence, but also not sure how new this store is. I used to go to the one in Pineville but have since moved making this shop more convenient First thing in notice is that this store smells of urine. Not sure what the fix is better air flow, spray, cleanup on aisle 6, but it needs to happen. Second thing is the cashiers are very slow which combined with the urine is like being stuck in a bad smelling, gas station bathroom. They had a circular up front with $10 off of $30 which was nice. Also, a Yelp check in deal for $7 off of $30, also nice. They also had the self wash dog stations which seemed popular and full. read more

Nice having this place so close we used to go to petco but pet supplies is our new go to. They have self washing dog baths and a dog wash loyalty card. The groomers are so great with our pups one is extremely nervous and they coddle him like I would and the other is a diva always yelping when he gets his nips done but they just love on him and tell him he's a good boy. The employees are great and the prices are the same as online. read more

This place is amazing! Mo Brooks is the best groomer in this area! My dog never wants to leave. She loves taking care your fur babies. My poor pooch gets so carsick and hate getting in the car, but once he arrives here he is just bursting with energy. Mo, does a fabulous job with shaving and keeping my pups coat nice and shiny. I am reviewing the grooming. Our dog was clean and still healthy so I gave them two stars. Her cut was awful. Around her forehead and eyes were all mismatched, uneven hair pieces and around her paws were terribly, noticeably uneven. We were also overcharged, especially for the horrible hair cut. We had to purchase grooming supplies and fix it ourselves. We are searching for a new dog groomer. read more

I like receiving coupons related to what I purchase. The staff has always been very helpful when I've shopped in the store. Also, last year with covid I started ordering on-line and doing curbside pick-up and that has worked wonderfully. Once during curbside pick-up I was given the wrong product by accident and I didn't notice until the next day (as it was going to be a gift). When I called the manager was most helpful and got the order straightened out and the correct product. Most recently the thing that's been really nice is the hand written thank you note that even included a cute pet joke and drawing that was attached to my pick-up order. I love pet supplies plus! They are very reasonably priced for a smaller pet store. They have such a great selection in cat food/cat supplies which is great for me since I have two cats. I also have two hermit crabs that I bought from there as well as all of their tank accessories. The employees here are always so happy to help, and seem to be knowledgeable about the animals that they sell. It's refreshing to see a pet store that values well-being of the animals over profit.
