The staff outside busy moving all the bikes to the front greeted us and welcomed us into the store. The ladies inside gave us suggestions and helped me pick out the best gifts. This type of friendly helpful customer service is worth mentioning, and very rare so minutes before closing. And for the cherry on top they wrapped my purchases so nicely and ready to deliver. The invoice states the tube was a Drag Speciality and I trusted it was. A few days later I was riding in Comanche County and the tube popped - the bike towed to a reputable shop in Stephenville (boneyard cycles) where the shop owner there discovered the tube was pinched and was NOT a Drag Speciality tube but more than likely an Amazon tube. I brought the tube to 5 Star where the owner Tony threw the tube back at me and said it wasn't his tube. I asked Manny his "service manger" if he backed up Tony and he stated "I wasn't back there when they replaced it". I asked to speak to the mechanic who changed it and was told he was on vacation. At the time, Jason assured me this vehicle had a brand new engine, and that a considerable amount of other parts and components where recently replaced, as Jason had owned this vehicle prior. At the time, this truck had just over 240000 miles and Jason assured me that if I brought the truck to him he would honor a "warranty" that would cover parts... No labor. At the time, i was being pressured from my organization to purchase a vehicle, so I had little choice but to agree. Furthermore, I made the mistake of not paying attention to the quality of tire and what kind of rims/tires the truck needed... 22s as it were are difficult because no one has them on hand... The truck ran fine for a couple of months until those tires had to be replaced... Only 3000 miles after I bought the truck. Increasingly, more and more, issues began to arise with this vehicle... Coolant lines needing to be replaced, oil pressure senders and sensors going bad... My dashboard backlight going out (they are not individual lamps, but a whole piece that needs to be replaced) and to top it off- the knock sensor in the "brand new" engine Jason claimed all began showing signs of wear and needed changing... Fast forward to today- 255,000 miles on the frame - I've sunk close to $2500 already, owing $2800 still and still needing close to 1k work... Igo to ask Jason to to honor his promise for a warranty on the knock sensor and the dash light as I feel they pertain to the year warranty... What do I get as a response? Defensive rhetoric and accusations of not taking care of the vehicle... This guy will go back on his word and professional promises to his customers. I wish I could continue but at this point I will not be doing any further business with this establishment.

The shop manager, David, showed extremely unprofessional behavior and disrespect to me as a customer and as a woman. When told me repairs on my car would be $1900 (more than half the worth of the car), I told him that I would need a couple of days to decide whether I wanted to repair the car or sell it. Upset, he interrupted me, raised his voice, talked over me, insulted my intelligence, and tried to bully me into authorizing the repairs, saying "You WILL call me back this afternoon and you WILL tell me to repair your car." Considering his treatment of me, when I went to retrieve my car, he overcharged me, forcing me to pay $60 more than he quoted me for the diagnosis. He also demanded that I pay in cash and then, made me wait 20 minutes for change. Never once did I receive a sincere, voluntary apology. For anyone considering repairs, don't waste your time here.
