Had a little trouble with my Harley and this shop was the closest to where I was and I spoke with the service tech came out gave a listen and sprayed the carburetor and told me their rate and what needed to be done and I was on my way. On my 5th harley and always debated about trying the Indian and this kid just clinched it for me and I will buy from their shop in Denton. read more

Will never take bike back, they go through managers like I have never seen. Service department is understaffed and take WAY to long for anything. The guy that works there trys but can keep up and work quality suffers. Between 2 bikes they have had the 2 close to 3 month. After the first one had been there 2 months they agreed to pay it off. Worked a deal and now the new bike has been there going on 3 weeks and well as you can guess still not done. I will drive the 1.5 hrs to another dealer before this place ever sees or touches my bikes again. I regret buying an indian! read more

Oh what's there to say about an Indian motorcycle that hasn't been said? I love them. I've never so much as sat in the saddle of one and I love them. I found this place on accident driving from Wichita Falls to Denton and I had to stop, absolutely had to. My wife, who rides on my Shadow with me frequently, even wanted to stop. So we did, and we swooned over the Chiefs and the Chieftains. They were beautiful and powerful. The down side was they didn't show price tags, which I guess should be expected. They're gorgeous, over priced motorcycles anyway. The staff was friendly, asked if we needed anything when we walked in but besides that was aloof. The store was empty except for us which was nice to mosey around and have the whole place to ourselves; however, it would have earned them the 5th star had someone been walking with us to explain the details of the bikes, prices, and history of the business. I mean, the company was founded in 1901, there's plenty to take pride in and talk about. Another nice point was how clean the dealership was. It was apparent it was brand new, but still impressive. I enjoyed my visit and if I ever get to the point of having a large enough income to purchase an Indian I know where I'll go. read more

HAWK If you call, or if you visit their store, talk to Hawk. Small(ish) Indian dealership north of Denton proper with a GREAT selection of used motorcycles. Very knowledgeable staff and eager to help. They never tried to push me into one of their new Indians with a lower interest rate, rather Hawk worked with different lenders to get me the best interest rate, better than what I found on my own. Their lead Harley mechanic is knowledgeable and able to "dumb" it down for those of us not so familiar with the HD 103. Couldn't have had a better experience. read more

So recently moved to Texas. Brought in 2 bikes for Indian initiated service campaign. Since my Chief Classic was due for an oil change I asked them to do one in addition to campaigns for both bikes. My fault but I never asked for a price and these people were not forthcoming nor did they provide for a signed authorization to do the work...no R.O. Until you show up for the bill. $174.60 for an oil and filter change. These people don't ever want to see service business. Imagine taking your car in for an oil change at that price. They told me I should have bought it from them and purchased their $1,000 service package. Are you kidding me, I bought both bikes in another state, when I lived in that other state. Listen folks the filter is hanging off the front of the engine, drain the oil and put a new filter on...and never visit these people. Expensive lesson....they really don't want my business....well guess what that revenue, and any future bike purchases are gone. Enjoy the $174.60, y'all earned it! read more

Well today was the day I was going to look into and maybe buy a Indian Scout. I did all my research and was off to ride and check em out at Big TEX Indian motorcycles ... well I will keep this short and sweet. I am out front and looking at the bikes .. one lady is helping a customer and I get it they are a small outfit. So I decide to head inside maybe have better luck. Well there is another lady in a red shirt who literally didn't even want to make eye contact with me. I politely ask " could I throw a leg over a scout " she says " yeah " in the most dismissive way I think I have ever been told yeah ... so I do ... and as I am sitting on the scout ... I think if I write this check for this motorcycle. This will be the customer service you will deal with the entirety of the ownership .. so I walk out the door. The lady who "ran" to her office I said thanks for the amazing out of this world customer service and bolted to American Eagle HD in Corinth ... First let me say, I love my 2021 Bobber. Awesome bike! I wish I would have gone through a different dealership though. Here is a short list of issues the dealer just doesn't even care about. 1) Check engine light was on when buying the bike. I was told they were going to fix that along with put accessories on that I purchased before I leave the dealership. That DID NOT happen. I had to ride an hour home with the check engine light on. They were more concerned with closing then getting it done correctly. I wound up with scratches from the accessories they installed as well. When I finally was able to get the manager on the phone to discuss the check engine light, he only said, "that is not how we normally do business." Well, here's news to you, it is how you do business, because you did that with me! 2) There were misunderstandings assumed and provided with regards to the service contract and wheel package I purchased. My intent was to buy the service plan, NOT the tire and wheel package. When I left, I wound up having bought the opposite without realizing it due to the speed of trying to close down for the night of the dealership. I still assume 50% of this due to not having forced them to slow down with the purchase. 3) I was told by the dealership that their service plan was good at ANY dealership. That is not true as when I showed up to another dealership to get my 500 mile service done, they informed me that Big Tex is notorious for misleading customers on that. Their service contract is not good at all dealerships at all. Only the Indian one is. This is important since there are not many dealerships around. It is an hour from my house to Big Tex. I was not intending on going back to them to do service. More interestingly, the Indian service contract was cheaper at the other dealership than the dealership service contract at Big Tex. No one at the dealership has reached out to me to see what my concerns are with anything or if there is anything that could be done. They offered to refund my tire and wheel package (at a pro-rated amount) since I had put 500 miles on the bike. Instead of realizing they messed up with sending me home on a check engine light and pushing me through with the sale as fast as possible so their employees could just go home. That is a joke. 4) It's been over a month since I bought my bike. Not one person from the dealership has ever reached out to me on my experience with buying the bike. I have visited two other dealerships in the area (one for the check engine light, and the other for the 500 mile service). Both of those dealerships have each reached out to me to see how my experience was with them. This goes a long, long way in getting repeat customers. There are other things I could go on about with regards to some of the smaller things I have noticed with this dealership, but feel that the 4 listed cover the bigger ones. I love the bike and don't regret a single minute of being the owner of it. This review is 100% based on the interaction and lack of customer service from the dealership. I will say, I will be buying another Indian motorcycle and my wife and several friends are now interested in buying as well. However, do yourself a favor and read the reviews on Big Tex (especially over the last year). This dealership does not care one bit about you as a customer and is only looking to make a sale. read more

I was super impressed with the folks at Big Tex Indian. From the beginning of my search until I landed on my bike they were super helpful. I am a new rider and they were sensitive to that and tried to inform me of all a new rider needs to know when buying a used bike. I bought a 2012 Harley Sportster and I couldn't be happier. I let the battery die on the drive home on the trailer. They sent Erik to my house, an hour and a half away, after work one day to help me get my bike batter changed out. Erik was great while he was there. He was very patient. Matt was the one I dealt with and throughout the entire process he was wonderful to work with. Paul helped me out when I got to the dealership because Matt was busy with another customer. Paul was wonderful in answering all my questions.
