This place is such a little gem of a spot!! We came for the weekend to Duncan mills camping club with our friends who are members there. We walked over to this place every day, sometimes 2x a day!! Everything we had is amazing. It's such a cute , cozy, warm vibe in there and the outdoor deck area is big with lots of tables/umbrellas and chairs and great for the kids!!! I got the iced mocha every time and it's one of the best I've had. The perfect coffee to chocolate ratio!!! We got cinnamon rolls one morning and they were absolutely fabulous. Mouth watering!! Came one night for pizza dinner!!! We got two personal sizes (2 toppings each) and it fed our family of four! The pizza was absolutely delicious!!! Everything we tried here during our trip was perfection! Staff were always nice and friendly and it was a quick walk to the camping club! Gold Coast Coffee is a must-go! We stopped by around 7:20 a.m. and there was plenty of parking, plus a beautiful outdoor area that makes it such a nice place to sit and enjoy breakfast. The people are extremely friendly, which made the experience even better. Just really good vibes all around. The coffee was fantastic, and I love that they roast their coffee right there and fresh-bake their pastries on-site. They also use organic flour, which is another huge plus. My husband had the ham and mustard pastry, and I had the turkey and pesto. The dough was perfectly crispy, flaky, and absolutely delicious. My only regret? I had already bought food for our kayaking trip...I should have just grabbed some of their day-old pastries that were nicely wrapped up to take with us instead of bringing processed snacks. I was lucky and got 2 chocolate croissants, and a yummy looking scone with jam on it. Everything we tried was amazing. We will definitely be back for the soft serve and wood-fired pizza next time. Cute and hip coffee spot located in the micro town of Duncans Mills. Don't blink or you'll miss it! Gold Coast Coffee does its own roasting and baking. There were loads of day-old treats and fresh pastries to choose from, along with their tasty drink menu. The inside has plenty of seating, and there is a patio too. The service was a bit iffy. The employees were young and a bit short, hwoever they were also busy, so I am sure that played a part in their reaction to our several questions about the menu. We tried a smoothie, iced tea, Italian soda, and some cookies. Everything was great! This place is a hidden gem like the rest of Duncans Mills. Oddly we were in Sonoma on a Monday so of course go out of our way to stop by one of our favorite spots for coffee and pastries. Gosh whoever came up with spreading cream cheese on top of the cinnamon rolls deserved a raise! The cream cheese balanced out the cinnamon-y flavor, making the buns not too sweet with a hint of saltiness from the cheese. We really wanted some baked goods or some sort of dessert. We saw this on Yelp and decided to make the drive from Forestville. It was in a small town, parked at the front. It was raining as heck outside, but cozy inside. When I came in, the staff was trying to figuring out something and took like maybe a few minutes to assist me. While in a business trip I stopped by this hidden gem in Duncans Mills. Amazing little bakery and coffee shop! Service was stellar. I asked about the specials and I think the owner or manager helped me out. She told me about the espresso shake and I had to try it! Beyond delicious. I also ordered a chocolate croissant. Driving home from our Sunday Funday hike in Jenner, we were passing through the small town/village of Duncans Mills. Apparently it has a population of 85! We'd never been so decided to check out the bakery for a little treat. It's #TreatOClock in the North Bay afterall! We arrived mid afternoon and there were a few pastries left in their case. I got an iced black tea to cool off on a hot day - appreciate the paper straws - and he got a blueberry scone. He loved the scone and said it was flavorful and balanced (not dry as scones can sometime be)! We interacted with the two young girls working the counter, and with the baker, and everyone was warm and welcoming. We took our treats to go but did see that they have a large back patio. My sister & I were on a road trip adventure, and stopped in Duncan's Mills. We decided to walk the town 1st to see what bakeries they had to offer, since we were in the mood for coffee and something sweet. My sister happened to notice some huge Choc Peanut Butter Coconut cookies in the display case, so we each got one $4ea. I tasted her Iced Chai Tea but it was way too spicy for me. My Iced Thai Tea was good but nothing to write home about. Now the cookies on the other hand were incredible. They were huge, fresh and chewy. An idyllic location in quaint Duncan's Mills. located on the side of the Russian river, this coffee roasting company is tiny, but mighty. I adore their coffee and it's a treat when they're actively roasting when you stop by. It is a quick walk across the road to the rest of the small group of shops. They have really great dining out in this little tiny hamlet and I recommend everybody stop by. The parking is simple and straightforward. It's easily accessible right off of highway. 1 before you reach Jenner. Their hot drinks are fantastic. Their monster cookies are sometimes the best I've ever had. Overall, this is a location. This has been my favorite coffee shop for years, and I stop in 2-3 times each week on my way to take my kids to school. The coffee is far better than other local alternatives, and the pastries are good too. Until recently, unfortunately. I visited in the morning of July 15 and the barista (she said her name was Sofia) made one of the worst coffees I've tasted. It was bitter, gross, and far below the usual standard of Gold Coast. It seems like the pizza is on a rotating menu. They bake a couple pies at a time, including vegetarian options. Once those run out, new pies take their place and you can order slices. You can also order a whole pie, which could be more economical. The pizza is good! The wood fire flavor and texture is quite nice and the toppings are delicious as well. The service is very nice! What a find! The pastries were some of the best we've ever had. First, we tried a vegetable galette and a bear claw. After inhaling both, our family stared at each other with a "what else are we getting" look. We then tried a butter horn, and cinnamon roll. All were delicious, don't think we could pick a favorite. I'm a home baker and can tell you these are quality ingredients used at Gold Coast. The doughs used were amazing, almost like a brioche/croissant hybrid-but incredibly moist for pastry. So delicious! The bakery at Gold Coast Coffee and Bakery is excellent. Everything we had was of high quality: the dense frosted cinnamon rolls, their savory tarts with garden vegetables, the berry tart, the enormous bear claw and their gigantic cookies being standouts. Basically all the baked goods we tried were excellent. Coming early in the day is key to scoring bakery items here. The staff in the kitchen were working hard, and produced racks full in the AM, all three days we visited, selling out by afternoon. The cafe itself is spacious and welcoming with cathedral ceiling and beams, fresh flowers, rustic touches and a large garden backyard with seating. The drinks (smoothies & expresso) we ordered were good, but some baristas seemed overwhelmed.
