Some of the fresh toppings. Ask for sauce suggestions
    Diana C.

Tried the mango and strawberry with toppings and that really made this dessert pop! I loved how this store offered free samples, like Jell-O shots of silky tofu and soy milk drink. However there wasn't any sugar to the tofu, so the samples were not true to what was possible. Smart the samples sit on a huge bed of ice. If you are sugar fan, then Mango Tofu with fresh mango chunks, mango flavoured popping bubbles and mango sauce made this dessert delish. The kids really enjoyed this one. Strawberry was the runner up with slices of fresh strawberry, strawberry popping bubbles and strawberry sauce. The dessert is served in a cute pail container with a sticker of the Tycoon, the owner himself. One dessert with two toppings comes out to just over $8 with tax. It's really easy to eat, a boba straw could be an option instead of a spoon. I'm sure this will be popular treat for seniors. The tofu was really smooth, easy to eat and actually a healthier dessert choice. Would come back again since both kids enjoyed these flavours . The free soy milk drink that comes with purchase is also very tasty, just sweet enough and also very smooth. It's been filtered well and had no sediment at the bottom. At this time, they only sell small take out versions and nothing larger for home use.

Very light dessert to satisfy craving and very soothing with each bite. Many flavours to choose from

This is a super tiny kiosk just beside the Hot Star. Tofu was stellar! It was smooth and exactly how I felt tofu desserts would taste like. It had a subtle but not overpowering taste that complemented the toppings. I had strawberry popping pearl, coconut flakes, coconut shavings, and strawberry syrup drizzled on top. YUM. Ambiance is a food court so Uhh.. Dress casual. The staff guy was very nice and gave me an extra topping because they ran out of strawberry. I'd come back! It was delicious :)

Stumbled upon a new soya dessert shop on the 2nd floor of Pacific Mall near the food court. Inside, they sell different flavours of tofu pudding such as pandan, soy milk and smoothies. I was promptly greeted and the store offered samples of their soy milk to try. I got the pandan tofu pudding, it had a nice silky texture and was not too sweet. I am always looking out for healthy and tasty desserts so will definitely be back to try more flavours!

Texture was great, fresh mango and mango sauce was a great touch for flavour although the tofu itself seemed a little bland. Just don't go in expecting traditional tofu pudding because that's not what this is.

    Pandan, original, mango

So good, I brought back 13 to New York. Really love the original and mango. Ginger and pandan were great too.

I was walking in pacific mall. I wanted to see what had changed at pacific mall. I can across this little store offering samples at the front. To my surprise they were offering tofu dessert, unlike the traditional ginger syrup. They offered pandan, mango and original flavour. The texture was nicely done, soft and silky. Service was really quick as well. They sell them individually packaged, $4.99 each.

I don't like overly sweet desserts but this tofu needs more sugar. It's really plain, I couldn't tell that it was pandan flavour.

Yeah!! I finally got to try an authentic Taiwanese restaurant at First Markham Place. "Hoja" means…read moredelicious in Taiwanese and that caught my attention since last year. The decor is full of colourful lanterns and simple furniture. However, the metal chairs are not comfy at all. That could be changed. The service was quick for lunch. I got the business lunch set which the vermicelli noodle soup came quickly. I wish it was hotter in temperature and that it had more coriander. I also had to ask for the black vinegar to go with it which it should have been given. The spicy sauce was already at the table. The pickled cabbage was a nice crunchy side. The winter melon tea was nice, but not enough tapioca since I paid extra for that. The popcorn chicken was amazing. They nailed that one and also, the deep fried tofu. It reminded me of my trips to Taiwan. The boiled veggies were a nice touch to the meal. To end it off, we shared a hot tofu dessert dish. Overall, it was a great experience. There could be some changes to the restaurant, but I know their focus is on two main traditional Taiwanese dishes.

Saw many reviews of this place when it first opened and I finally got to try it this year…read more Small portions but great if you are looking for something light. Got the mixed noodles and mixed chicken and pork rice. Also got the sweet potato fries to start, very sweet. It's similar to the honey butter chips. The noodles had a Smokey flavour, very different than any noodles I've had. Loved the intestines and beef, tender and flavourful. The space was nicely decorated. Order via app and pay at the counter. Food came out quickly, everyone looked cooked already on the hot table.
