Everything about my experience was thoroughly positive. From the time I sat down and Gigi (desk attendant) greeted me with my nickname, I felt at peace. Upon walking in, the environment was clean and spacious. Even the other clients were nice and friendly to everyone around. I was impressed when even the UPS guy coming into drop off a package and before he left, Gigi caught him at the door to check up on his new to be born baby and he came back in to ask her about her Mother's Day experience. I actively dealt with 3 specialist there because I was getting a digital rendering and cleaning done. Each of them was extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. The type of care they gave me made me feel like I was being taken care of more than I would think to ever expect. The pain during cleaning was at a minimum (maybe 5%) and I predict it was because I have crowding. I had the privilege of working with Dr. Tyler himself. He performed a cancer screening and did a gum test in between my rendering and cleaning. The time he sat to introduce himself and to learn about me felt like it wasn't about a paycheck. We found a few similarities between him and I that made the world that much more of a smaller place. He's definitely a good guy to know! The other thing that impressed me was the attention to detail. They had tv's everywhere. When you're in the chair there's a tv right ahead of you. When they recline you back, there's a tv on the ceiling. All of the staff did so well at their jobs; whenever they were done they all would ask if I had any questions.... I didn't have 1 the entire time I was there. Overall my office experience was 10/10! Go for yourself and find out why Tyler dental is better than your dentist, lol

    Beautiful outside and inside!

Several months later, I received an additional bill for the added Xrays. I called the office to explain that I was told I would not be billed and they confirmed before my visit with the insurance company that both xrays were covered. Employee advised that the insurance company must have wrongly told their employee who checked my coverage prior to my visit. I contacted my Insurance company who checked their records/call logs-recordings and provided me a letter stating no one from the dentist office called prior to my visit to verify coverage. To top it off, I just found out Gentle Family Dentistry sent the bill to collections. I USE TO Think so highly of this business.

But -- and I can't believe I'm saying this -- I actually love going to the dentist now! From the second I walk in the door, to the second I leave, it is such an enjoyable experience. The waiting room is homey and cozy. The staff who greet you are welcoming and personable. Every dental hygienist is so nice, so comforting, and does an incredible job (though, I have to say that my husband and I especially love Luda!). The dentist is quick yet thorough. I am literally in and out in 30 minutes or less - and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes upon arrival. I've had one cavity filled (whoops) and it was so quick that I was like, are you sure that's it? The dentist laughed and said, yep! I feel like I've been duped all these years, thinking the dentist was awful. In reality, I've just been going to the wrong place. Thank you for changing my mind about the dentist!!

The initial appointment and the actual…read moreday to get my wisdom tooth pulled, Dr. Michael Choi shows a great deal of irritation in his face and body language. He's very short and irritable with his responses. Sometimes, he just nods his head yes or no due to him being so annoyed. Also, this was my very first time having any surgery in my entire life! I had NO clue how this would go. Dr. Michael Choi was not vocal at all during the procedure to make me feel comfortable. For an example, I did not know when I would get stuck with a needle to be numb, which needle would hurt more than the other, when a tooth has been removed and when we were moving on to the next. The only thing he was vocal about was when he needed me to "turn my head to the left." The amount of tension in the room from his irritable face expressions and body language made me and in my opinion, his assistants very uncomfortable and feel like a burden during a extremely scary and stressful time for me as a first time surgery patient. The second Doctor Michael Choi stepped back, I did not know we were finished. I asked him "are we done?" He did not vocally tell me yes like he never vocally responds, all he did was nod his head. He asked if I had any questions then quickly exited the room. I would never recommend anyone especially if it's their first time to Doctor Michael Choi. It was an extremely difficult and heart aching experience with him as my doctor on top of already being extremely nervous ALL MONTH and never having any kind of surgery AT ALL in my entire life. I pray whatever he has going on in his personal life does not continue to fall over in his place of profession. That will only cause somebody else going further uncomfortable and like a burden the same that it made me. Thanks
