Update to my original review. Jeramie (JT), the owner, reached out and helped my son fix his haircut. I can say that he truely knows what he is doing and was able to boost my son's confidence again! Although my son didn't want to have a short cut, he was very happy with JT's work. I don't generally leave reviews, but to be honest this place is no better than you average super cuts. The shop itself is nice, the decor, etc. is all well put together. However, when it comes to skill level this place is pretty subpar. Ive been here a total of 4 times in the last year and a half, and I've only ever been here as a back up to my other 2 main barbers. My barber was chip. I had asked for a low fade, a line up, and to not push my natural hairline too far back. You can see the picture and decide for yourself if you want to come to a place like this but man i didnt expect to leave the place looking worse as compared to when i walked in. The top of my head i asked for a half inch off and the barber cut off damn near an inch and a half and its not even consistently cut throughout. Been here twice for haircut + beard trim. Very happy with their work, they are meticulous, care about the details, and take their time to get it right. The place itself is kept clean & the staff are welcoming. There's usually tons if parking right in front. Personally, I don't at all mind paying an extra $10 so I can get my trimming & cut done post 6PM - makes it easy to get there after work. Definitely planning on being a continued customer. read more

Sooooo....thos business advertises WALK INS. Well that is not the case, I called because after taking my son to a barber for 13 yrs I know an appt is better to have. I called on Saturday 5/20/23 and asked for an appt, the person who answered said I could walk in. Well this business also advertises their hours and they supposedly close at 7pm Saturday. I walked in at 320pm Saturday and the gentleman with braid/dreads was not the friendliest. He asked me if I had an appt, I said no I was told I could walk and he said "well I don't know who you talked to but I'm done for the day" he proceeds to ask the 2 guys who are on the left side of the shop and they both said they were done for the day. So moral to this is if you are running a business please advertise your business properly. If someone calls and asks for an appt, TAKE THE APPT instead of telling them to walk in. As a customer I can tell you how frustrating it is to take time out of your day and be told NO. So I hope this business takes this into consideration!! UPDATE:: No, not true. I called between 1130am and 12pm on my lunchbreak. Please do not try to make it seem like I don't know what I am talking about. Because there was a guy sitting there waiting for a cut. It was 320pm when we got there. You think a person isn't gonna look at the clock and check your business hours. I wouldn't go to a shop an hour before closing, I've been taking my son to the barber for a long time now and u know how shops work. This isn't my first time now. I called just now to make an appt for two of my boys. I tried scheduling the appt but found out that kids cuts are $35 so it was a bit too much. I said let's hold off I'll call you back. The guy hung up in my face. not the way to do business. ‍ UPDATE: the owner hit me up and apologized for his employee being rude. While you can spend time with customers and they don't book bc it's expensive, that's the nature of the business. That still doesn't negate treating customers like shit but I appreciate the owners gesture. Went into the barbershop as a walk in, which was cool that they accept walk ins. I have no clue what my barbers name was, tall lanky guy, but I told him what I wanted and for the most part, he gave me a decent line up and followed the added instructions I told him about before he started, so all in all, it was an ok experience... but just not worth the $30.00 for an ok line up, ESPECIALLY considering he cut me on my line up, leaving a scar, I'm thankful I had the good sense not to let him near my skin with a razor, because if he couldn't manage to keep me cut free with clippers, who knows how bad a razor job he might have done. Listen if you're going to call your barber shop Highly Recommended Barbers make sure everyone there is actually skilled, cutting someone is a rookie mistake and shouldn't be allowed to happen in any barbershop. Side note: it would be very helpful to the customer, if barbers could start accepting debit cards as not everyone carries cash on them. read more

Probably remember me the one wit the L.A Hat who sat down and got asked if i got a walk in or Appoiment. The dude that had them blonde dreads took me in I appreciate taking me in as a walk in i was just testing the waters, so Everyone in that shop are skilled. Except that black dude with the long dreads that are dyed blonde i didn't catch that foos name. But I should've cuz he cut me about 4 times on my hairline. I ain't realize that until i got home and took a shower I supposed the irradiation was from alcohol. But that wasn't till i took ma shower after the cut and realized that foo cut me. I would've said some but i found that out at home. Im a welder who works 10 hour shifts 6 days a week, berly squeezes time with ma boxing gym in Livermore I ain't got time to go back and let him know wsp. When it comes to cuts bruh y'all gotta be careful. I stay down in East Oak but if i end up around y'all ill stop by and talk to him personally no argument, nor no fights. Just a simple conversation.
