My daughter was attending pre-school before we moved so it was not a new thing for her entirely but she was still very shy with all the new faces and places when she began attending Kiddie Academy. The Kiddie academy staff was very patient with my daughter when she had her tough moments, and her teachers always took the time to make sure she felt comfortable and loved. My daughter's primary teacher was Miss Coy. She is an excellent teacher! She is very kind, patient and energetic. She also had class pets and allowed my daughter to do show & tell with her pet tortoise to share with all her classmates. My daughter raved about her favorite teachers Miss Coy, Miss Courtney, and Miss Meagan on a regular basis and was always happy to see them upon returning to school. Kiddie Academy offers a way for parents to watch video of their kids during class which was really awesome because it helped me feel better to know what she was doing throughout the day and how she was feeling. This facility also does events throughout the year not just for the students but also for the community which was a great way for me to meet other parents for play dates. I would like to thank all Kiddie Academy staff for their outstanding care and safety measures provided to my daughter. Her heart and mind have significantly grown while attending this facility.

He…read morewas placed in a corner by a teacher for approximately three minutes, and when he came out, he was bleeding. This is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about student safety and supervision. What is even more troubling is the school's lack of response. No meaningful action was taken, and the teacher involved remains in their position without accountability. As a family, we expected a thorough investigation, transparency, and reassurance that steps would be taken to prevent this from happening again. The safety and well-being of children should always be the top priority. Unfortunately, based on this experience, that does not appear to be the case here. I strongly urge the school to take incidents like this seriously and implement proper measures to protect students. I spoke with Stacey and she clearly didn't care and the owners were supposed to call me and I'm still waiting. The worst part is that his mother worked there and they didn't report it to her as well, she found out when she picked him up and he had large knots on his head and was bleeding .. Needless to say she was fired because she was a concerned mother... Please don't bring your kids to a place where kids are not put first. Stacy and Cermany need to be fired

PLEASE READ AND RECONSIDER YOUR DECISION:…read more I feel very guilty to send my children there. Since the camp is not allowing kids having any electronics there, I had no way to know what was going on. Upon picking him up, he rushed me to take him home with teary eyes. This is uncommon to see him, esp now a middle school boy to show such emotion. I asked counselor how he was doing this week, he said, "it's better, but was rough at the beginning." I curiously asked, "what do you mean 'rough'?" He simply answered, "Words" and did not elaborate further. When we were ready to drive away from the parking lot, my son said "They are RACIST!" I was surprised what came out of his mouth. I carefully clarified what was going on.. He said many of his cabinmate said he was a "Ching Chong" and was a "WONTON BOY"!! The counselors witnessed everything but did not report to upper and took bullying situation seriously. Counselors hid, brushed off, and did not relay the incidents to parents (as they are young college students too). My son was just reading his book upon arrival as he is a "slow to warm" personality and did not bother anyone, but was being treated with UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIORS by his cabin mates and MENTORS. I was expecting this Christian camp would be a transforming experience, but it traumatized him at very difficult middle school age. Last day of the camp, kids leave with a booklet called "21-day challenge". By having such devotion, you get a "prize" once you complete them. I encouraged him to do it, he simply put it aside with a very sad sad face... As his mother, my heart aches. May God heals him fast and understand people (whether children or adults) that being mean or brushed off his hurts do not change God's and our love to him... As I mentioned the incident to Pastor Al before we left, he said, "I myself said something when I was younger that was not right either. We cannot stop all the situation to happen because that is how the world is now, quite sad." Will you take all these as parent? If you are colored ones like us, God still love you no matter what. We are not thin skin like wonton because He brings us trials and we overcame them, at this Carolina Creek. Also, I just found out from my daughter that kids are not allowed to wear ANY shoes inside cabins including shower/bathroom area. All shoes have to be left outside cabin. Our particular cabin - no bathroom allowed to use at night because this disturbs others. You know what, she unintentionally brought a poisonous toad back home when we washed her water shoes. I cannot believe it...

The Directors, teachers and staff are dedicated, super engaged, friendly, and focused on my child. The environment is safe and the energy is amazing there. The best words I can use to describe KIA are unorganized and dishonest. They are not transparent…read moreabout their pricing at all. Pricing isn't listed on their website or on any of their registration forms, unlike any other childcare program I've encountered. Why? Because they are dishonest. I inquired about Summer Camp pricing and was told $330/week. I decided against registering my child. They called me 3 weeks later and told me the price was $220/week and urged me to register my child for the KinderPrep class, which I did. Camp starts and my child is placed in the wrong age group for 3 weeks (which she did NOT enjoy) AND I've been charged $284/week instead of the price I signed up for. Communicated with the owners and I got apologies about the "miscommunication" but no rectification beyond "we'll wave the withdrawal fee". They simple don't care about anything but the money. No integrity or business etiquette whatsoever. Would NOT recommend. However, most of their teachers/counselors are sweet so I'll give 1/5 stars instead of 0.

We love we can bring our own food or order through their catering services. The website is user friendly & easy to book. Packages range from 10-40 kids. Pricing and # of tables provided for you to figure out to book, I like the 30 mins option and times are flexible for early to evening parties. We brought our crockpot and there's a place to plug it in. The space is just accommodating and the staff to guide the party were amazing and friendly. Assisting to setup & breakdown as well. We are so glad are guests enjoyed the party and was shocked to discover the venue. Even though it's a share space, it just didn't feel like it. I like the space they have for the parties and doesn't clash with each other. Highly recommend I had celebrated a 4 & 9 year old. And the adults themselves got to enjoy the obsracles.

After showing proof of the website error stating website is down, management continued to ignore their fault and charged the additional rate for being "late." The front desk staff need customer service training. No hellos... no I'm sorry I couldn't assist you, is there anything else I can help you with"... just blank stares. Note I was friendly and just trying to understand the additional charges when the website was not working. Not that I didn't pay. Also, this is all operational issues, nothing on the coaching staff.

In honor of my 60th BD on the 23rd...we, "just sit right back and you'll hear a tale...a tale" of 3 gals on the bayou!!! (gilligan's island song reference) The three of us had the best time...Sunday FUNday! It was predicted to be a 40-80% chance of rain ...BUTT, not today Satan...the weather was perfect...hardly any clouds, 75 out and a decent wind...Capt Clement was patient, friendly and informative. I was the captain for about an hour...then I asked my friend to take over...she hesitantly did! We were on a 30 foot sailboat called, "the lift off!" It had plenty of space to sit. While on the water we met several other sailors/captains that Clement knew and we got to talk to from afloat. This outing cost $50 each and we were sailing in Offatt's bayou for 2 hours (maximum is 3 hours but, we all had to pee, so we lost an hour...old bitty's!!! LOL!) All in all, it was a FANTASTIC experience ...very zen. Get this...one friend aboard hadn't been on (any) kind of boat in 38 years (she had been involved in a near fatal boat crash at 14) and today, was the day she conquered that fear of water-crafts. We all learned a lot from Captain Jardin and about ourselves.
