There is a nice outdoor area where they could walk around when they wanted to, but mostly they enjoyed the love and attention they got from Terri and her family. I don't think he wanted to come home when we got there to pick him up. Can't speak highly enough as these dogs are our family And we want nothing but the best for them and we feel like we got the absolute best in care for Cooper . We got text messages throughout the weekend with photos and frequent updates letting us know how Cooper was doing. This is a fantastic small business, and I would recommend them to anyone. To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am submitting this formal complaint regarding my experience with Dogtopia's handling of my adopted dog during multiple visits and boarding stays. Across these interactions, I observed repeated communication inconsistencies, a lack of transparency regarding incidents, and increasingly unprofessional conduct toward my pet. Records show staff provided conflicting explanations about my dog's behavior and condition. At times, I was told my dog was "great overnight," while at other times staff described him as "grumpy," "snappy," "overstimulated," or involved in behavioral incidents. There were also discrepancies regarding the cause of my dog's limp and paw injury. These inconsistencies created confusion and concern regarding the accuracy of incident reporting, staff supervision, and the overall handling of my pet. Communications frequently came across as defensive and dismissive of my concerns rather than providing clear, professional, and collaborative updates. I am concerned my dog was unfairly labeled as aggressive while staff simultaneously acknowledged he was placed in overstimulating and crowded environments without access to calmer accommodations. This raises concerns that environmental management and supervision may have contributed to the reported incidents. Additionally, some staff communications became excessive and distressing, feeling accusatory and intimidating rather than compassionate or solution-oriented. As the owner of an adopted pet, I expected consistent, professional care and respectful communication. I respectfully request the following actions: Conduct a formal review of how my pet was managed while in Dogtopia's care. Review staff communication practices and incident reporting procedures for consistency and accuracy. Provide clarification regarding the conflicting explanations concerning my dog's injury and behavior. Ensure fair and professional treatment for all customers and adopted pets, free from bias, intimidation, or unnecessary escalation. Take appropriate corrective actions to improve transparency, accountability, and customer relations moving forward. This complaint is supported by documented text communications from Dogtopia staff describing the incidents, behavioral assessments, injury explanations, and subsequent interactions. I appreciate your time and attention to this matter and request that this complaint be formally documented and reviewed. Sincerely, [Redacted] Supporting Notes From Communications * Staff initially stated there were "no issues," then later reported aggression and overstimulation concerns. * Conflicting explanations were provided regarding the source of my dog's limp and paw injury. * Staff acknowledged the playroom was unusually busy and that calmer rooms were unavailable on certain days. * Repeated behavioral accusations were made while also acknowledging environmental overstimulation and lack of separation options.

It's common when you go to a vet that you have to spend more than you were anticipating, but Grace Park coyly takes this to the next level. We saw the good reviews here, which is why we chose it, and both times we went, we had issues with: 1) being quoted much less than the actual visits were, 2) extremely rude front desk and management, 3) not kid friendly - was treated disrespectfully for having my baby with me, and even had a pest control rep spraying pesticide right in front of my baby inside, and 4) excessive wait times (40 mins once until we saw vet, almost 30 mins the next time, and another almost 30 mins the last time): Here's a little more about our three experiences: - I brought our dog and while the vet was very kind, I felt pressured to add in vaccines and treatments that I have never had at previous vets, and waited almost 40 mins to even see the vet. I let them know I was breastfeeding her mom who needed to get home to my baby and they showed no empathy despite running late. The vet was the only one who acknowledged running behind. - When we got home from our first visit, I found a lump on our dog tail. I didn't feel that the overall exam was very thorough. When our cat was sedated, they didn't trim her nails or brush her like previous vets always did voluntarily. - Our next visit, we were told it could just be a vet tech appointment, based on it being vaccines, but when we arrived, they charged us $129 each for each of our pets. During the exams, they said our cat needed a tooth removed. They quoted us over $1000 for the removal, and when I called them before scheduling the tooth removal to walk through the bill, there were quite a few things on the tooth removal quote that seemed extraneous, so I had them take them all out. My husband dropped off the cat for the procedure, and they told him the vet needed to speak to him, so he waited almost 30 minutes despite this supposedly being a quick drop off, and when the vet finally came out, they said that they would need to give our cat fluids (never had a vet do this, she hadn't drank in just 8 hours) and also potentially do some radiographs, which might be added back into the quote. We were never told that the IVs would cost $150 extra and we asked to be called about the radiographs. We were never called and when I showed up to pick up our cat, the bill was almost $300 more than the $500-$600 we were anticipating. Alex, part of the administration there, came out, and after reviewing the situation and listening to me, he apologized and took the two fees off the bill. He also said the manager Diane would follow up to see if there's anything else she could do, but he had done everything he could do under his authority. This whole process again took almost 30 minutes. Diane called me a few days later and was extremely rude. I had my kid in the car with me and I could hear her huffing every time my kid interrupted. She was extremely cold and just blatantly said we owed another $128. She told us we needed to pay for the IVs and radiograph. Never before have I've been given a discount on a bill that was incorrect in the first place only to be called back and told actually you need to pay this amount. When I told her what had happened with Alex, she told me that simply did not happen and threatened to send me to collections! She said she had camera and video footage she would be reviewing. What an absolute waste of time for both of us - granted this is over $100! I would strongly not recommend going here if you want to ensure you get a fair bill, not called back and told you owe more money and otherwise will be sent to collections, and if you don't have time to excessively wait to be seen. Also, if you have kids, I cannot reiterate enough how incredibly rude my experiences have been.

We have used this pet sitting service 3x in the last 3 months and couldn't be happier…read more We struggled trying to find someone on short notice (the BF isn't a planner), but we were thankful to find this company. The initial interview with Nadia was informative ( our cats did not behave, but that didn't deter the service). She explained all of the services that would be provided and provided us with the magnet card for the fridge. This was to be used for scanning in and out of the house. You need to log into your account to see the time stamp in and out and the standard information of the pet care. The website is easy to navigate! Our sitter, Hannah, is awesome and she sends daily updates along with the picture of our allusive babies (they are hiders, but this last visit they finally came out to say HI!). I think Hannah was super stoked to get the rare sighting of our Tuxedo Man, as he's not fond of strangers. You could tell by email she was elated! She has crawled under beds to try to capture these two and we thank her for that! She lays out their toys so she knows if they are coming out while she's away and that's comforting to know. She also hides treats around the house to make sure they are coming out as well. On our first trip away, it was just a long weekend, but it's hard to leave your fur babies, we arrived to a clean litter box, food and water full, and the floor free from litter (cat owners know this is no easy feat). When we were gone on another vacation, the snow--apocalypse happened in Raleigh. Four Paws contacted us immediately regarding the weather. They kept us up to date about the status of the roads. Since we just have cats, we didn't want anyone to risk too much by driving, since these babies don't have to be let out and other animals may have needed that attention more., so we told them that if it was too dangerous to not risk it and just try again the next day. They continued to update us and did make it to the house safe and sound. We even told her to not stay the full time just to make sure she was safe. Hannah's emails are funny and written just as how I picture she talks. We enjoy these little tid bits as we are enjoying vacations away from the babies. I really like the services that we have received and they will be booked soon for another vacation we have planned next month!

Unreliable & Disorganized…read more We're new to the area and I needed to find a new pet sitter to cover a planned weekend trip next month. I originally reached out to Four Paws based on good reviews I saw here, but unfortunately had a very frustrating experience instead. Firstly, before being willing to discuss anything they demanded that I make an account on their website and then fill out an extremely lengthy profile. Then, a day or so later, they emailed to ask for specifics for our trip and said they'd be arranging a visit with our sitter, which I answered that same day. Then, after a lull in communication, I got another email asking for the same information I'd provided previously. I provided it again and, again, nothing happened. Finally, having wasted over a week with their cumbersome process and these communication difficulties, I emailed again to ask what was going on... only to get an email back saying their only pet sitter in this area was on maternity leave for the next month and that they couldn't help me - something that they should have know days and days earlier. Now I will have to scramble to find some other arrangements, causing a lot of needless stress and anxiety and possibly putting our plans in jeopardy. They did offer some suggestions of other pet sitters in the area to use, but to those reading this - save yourself a lot of hassle and headache and just pick someone else. UPDATE: The business has responded below by posting private emails including my email address out of context, but only the last set of emails, ignoring the fact that they seem to have lost the first set, and then accused me of lying. I deeply regret giving them any personal information in the first place and would strongly encourage others not to do so.
