Got called by Global Storage on Bridge today. Multiple units broken into. A man there says his…read moreentire storage unit was drained and another woman said this is the second time hers has been broken in to. And there was a third guy who also said his storage unit has been broken into twice already. When I tried to speak to the manager, Josue, he shrugged his shoulders and said "I dont know what to tell you". Despite being one of the more expensive storages in the area they are extremely rude, unprofessional, and could not care less about your stuff. After so many break ins they don't even care to try to figure out why it is happening so easily or often or what they can do to prevent it. Don't waste your money!!!

Called back 2 days later, explained that I no longer needed the unit, offered to pay a proration for the 2 days I had taken up that they could have rented to someone else. And he was extremely rude and stated that under no circumstances would I get my money back. He just kept referring to "page 2 of the contract" I am a business man as well and I understand how business works, but this is about human decency, and moral standards. This business model has neither. I am not only reviewing this as a person who was wronged by this business, but as someone who lives in this community and does not want to see others screwed over. I have filed a complaint with the the Better Business Bureau. If you have been wronged by this business I suggest you do the same.

RightSpace was a tired waste of time. Here's basically how everything fell apart. Mid-summer, West Mesa Self Storage was purchased by RightSpace, I learned, via email. There was no "Thanks for being an awesome customer who's been paying on time since 2015" note, you know, just the normal corporate "Your payment information has successfully been transferred" bullsh*t, whatever. And then I noticed three changes: + An additional $10/month insurance charge + They switched out the light timers, not a big deal, but kinda penny-pinchy + They removed the only trash can, this little aluminum thing from the 80's, next to my unit C'mon, yo. It's no secret that they offer premium fuel at a very competitive prices which rents to often be far less than the competition. The only thing lacking is a small convenience store attached. From personal experience I can safely say the gas they offer lasts much longer than the gas from Phillips 66 and Circle K brands etc. Making it much easier on your wallet. My go to is usually the Murphy's Express fuel because their gas lasts almost as long as Costcos. Honestly if I lived closer to Costco I'd make them my exclusive gas provider but sadly I don't. However I will return the next time I'm in the area or shopping. Until then I'll be hitting up the Murphy's.

As I was moving across state, I communicated in advance that I couldn't be there until after their official closing time and that I was starting work the next morning.
