This place has rats!!!! I had two storages here and my things got destroyed! When I told the rep they were very apologetic and told me I was covered with my insurance so I came in the next day to get things squared away, and it was a different tune. As I was speaking to the manger he stated the insurance doesn't cover things like rats and there was basically nothing he could do! This place is rat infested!!! read more

When we were getting ready to move and while we were moving, it seems we were in the store virtually everyday. They had a great selection of different size boxes and were custom made for each application ie boxes for plates and cups from the kichen or dining room boxes for pictures or mirrors etc. Also had a good selection of packing material like bubble wrap to give extra protection. Did not have to rent a U-haul truck or trailer because we had a moving company do the actual move. Needed a specific kind of box about a week ago and since I was in the area, decided to stop in. Yes they had what I needed. Very helpful folks and the charge a fair and reasonable price for their wares. Highly recommend them to anyone moving or just trying to get things organized/ read more

Had to rent a van to pick up some supplies for my business for a few hours. Did it all online, and when I went to pick it up, the app was asking me for a bunch of ridiculous things that I was neither prepared, or even willing to give (since when do I need a reference to rent a vehicle?) But thankfully the older gentleman inside was gracious enough to just check me in and get me on my way so I could make my pickup on time. He also let me know about how the mileage worked, in case i needed more than expcted, which was very nice to know for future reference. read more

But twice now, he has cut down a box to fit the item I needed to mail. Both times, his cut-down boxes lowered the mailing cost below my budget. For starters, my trip was 415 miles. They claim it was 580 which is completely inaccurate... Then, I filled the truck before I returned it & they said I was $30 short when I actually filled it all the way. Shitty dirty truck & workers that don't give a damn or want to help you in anyway. I've worked with this U-Haul and self storage center twice now and find their service to be exceptional. Recently, I had to move a very heavy piece of furniture from a small unit to a bigger one. So what did they do? Randy (great employee!) got a forklift! Saved me so much time, frustration and potential damage. A forklift! Still Impressed and they did it at no charge. Karen is extremely easy to work with and with the tools they offered we got what was needed done in a fraction of the time. Highly recommended! read more

WARNING: DO NOT USE! For anyone relocating, do NOT use Uhaul. Worst customer service experience of my life. Spoke to so many people that I had to keep a notebook to write everything down just to keep all of their stories straight! Would consistently be transferred between departments because no one knew where my stuff was. The departments point their fingers at the other departments to shift blame when something went wrong, then they only offered me $50 back for my experience- and then never even gave me the refund! This was in June and I still haven't received it. I help companies/people relocate for new jobs and I tell every single one of my clients not to use uhaul. If I can prevent people from experiencing what I had to go through with them then I've serviced them well. Save yourself the headaches! read more

WORST: customer service experience I have ever had with Karen. She has a really nasty attitude and can't seem to know how to talk to customer unless she has a mean tone. I have never encountered anything this bad. Uhaul charged me 2 different amounts to my account and then she presumably knows how the banking system works and refused to assist me with any type of professionalism what so ever on the contrary she came to the phone with a nasty tone that leaves much to be desired in the customer service industry. Her lack of understanding how a customer could feel in these case says very little of her character. She had very little sympathy and questioned even the proof I sent her through email, Wow how can you work with people if you don't even know how to talk to them. You talk down to people and refuse to help them. Maybe it's time for Uhaul to have a meeting to instruct their workers and "general managers" to have a customer service skills coaching sessions to improve the way they speak to people. read more
