U-Haul really saved my posterior, and my sanity. My brother had a medical crisis, and I had to move his truck and camper to secure parking, since he was unable to. I called three storage locations, all were full. But the third - they keep tabs on other sites, and suggested U-Haul might have an open slot. They did! We limped it down, only to find a problem. A fire control pipe intruded into the space, and no amount of wiggling was going to get it all in. I called the office, and they came out and agreed. He called the manager and they're going to contact their people who are responsible for the fire suppression system. But that leaves me without a place to park my stuff, as they're full up. Except the space next to it is open. I suggest they call the person who owns that space and see if we could temporarily park there until the pipe is turned so I can park in the space needed. They call the renter, and they agree! I park my truck and trailer in that next space, all is well. This was a tremendous relief for me. U-Haul's help was fantastic and greatly appreciated. read more

.5 star I have never been so let down. Renting a u-haul should be an all day rental not hours! In a crisis "the pipeline fires" in flagstaff, they where unwilling to extend rental, for the day that situation should have been understood. read more

I bought a little camper to tow. So, i had to get a hitch on my car. U-haul said they could do it but had to order a part that would come in two weeks Monday BUT the tech who installs them couldn't work till the following Thursday. So, we acheduled to install that thursday and i arranged with family to drop off my car. When i arrived to drop off my car The girl told me that my part did come in monday but the manager sent it to another store and ordered me another one that hadn't come in. It was another week before that part came in. We brought my car in to install it but, oh no, they don't have the wiring for it. Wait for the wiring then, oh no, the wiring doesn't work. Send me home still w/o functional hitch. I call and arrange to have one installed on my mom's car so i can go and get it and i remind them, "AND WIRING!". "Oh, yeah... the wiring..." we get the hitch install and drive all the way down to no where AZ when guess what.... They didn't give us the ball. read more

Went there last 2 days to buy boxes and one employee not only was belittling a newer employee for asking questions about boxes to him but them gave us a hard time. Will re-post his name when I go back again, but any future purchases will be from Home Depot read more

First I tried calling all morning and no answer. Finally a person answered transfered my call to a person who had no idea what they sold. Was in the area so I stopped by to ask if they sold a certain size box. Was not greeted in any way they had the box so I bought it with no thank you and I asked for a receipt that seemed like a chore. I explained about no one answering the phone and given inaccurate information Dan said yeah I had it on call forwarding. I'll drive to Deer Valley next time I need anything from them read more

Had a bit of an emergency driving through AZ that required me to get a new towing assembly installed...they did it last minute, stayed late, were hospitable, and even got U-Haul to grant me a couple extra days ony trailer rental free. I am moving and have had to bring all my packed boxes to this Uhaul storage facility. I have been dealing with Dan (the manager) and other employees who work there for about two months....almost everyday. I have purchased boxes and other packing materials from them. I filled up one small storage facility and needed a second storage facility. I have had LOTS of communication with each and every employee that works there over the last two months. I can only say "wonderful" things about Dan and his crew! They are polite, kind, attentive, helpful and "smart." I have watched them deal with other customers often and my kind words about them are true about what I observed with many other customers. Moving and storing can be a very stressful and traumatic time for customers....but Dan and his team make it all much less stressful. I highly recommend Uhaul of Anthem, CT....Great Location as well. I recently rented a storage unit and am currently using it. I received very good customer service, from several different workers, on several of my trips in to get information on units, U-Box and other items. They are a busy location so you may wait a minute or two but other than that I got in and out very quickly. I like the indoor units that offer some climate control and the building is very clean. They also have carts you can use to move things from your car to your unit. I recommend this location and will use for any moving needs I have. read more

I cannot believe in the lack of training and knowledge I just experienced at U-Haul Anthem Way. Staff was courteous but did not know products and costs. Will not ever use U-haul again! U-Haul as a company has become more and more deceiving with there charges and hidden costs. Spent to much time trying to get issues taken care of and was passed around the U-Haul phone system for hours. read more
