He sent me a parts invoice electronically and I paid it. He texted several reminders of our appointment and was right on time in the three-hour window specified. Really nice and knowledgeable guy. Pricing was fair. He not only fixed our washer, he answered my burning questions about how our dryer is set up. Specifically I was trying to burn a few CD's for my American mom, and the burns failed, so now I have a bunch of coasters! Mom thinks the software had some kind of encryption parameter switched on, or perhaps the music I have is copyright-protected with a DRM, but I told her that it's actually a hardware failure! When I called, Mike answered the phone, and he seems like quite a sweet guy! I explained my situation to him, and he informed me of the possibility that I may need new DVD/CD Rom drives. He says that when it comes to reading and writing CD's and DVD's, drives and burners can fail after a short amount of time, as these machines aren't built to last like they used to be! Fast forward to this afternoon. I went to Eugene Computers with my provider, Karry, and they actually had the right kind of DVD/CD Rom drives for me! And better yet, they let me recycle the old ones that I brought in! I brought the new ones home, and by the way they're brand new and sealed, for which I paid $37.00 a piece (not a bad price at all!), and when I opened them up and plugged them into my machines, they actually work wonders! I recommend Eugene Computers to anyone who needs new replacement parts and even computer repairs. You guys are the best! You deserve 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars from me!
