There were some great items ranging from hot sauces and seasoning to Cold brew presses and such. There was a great selection of coffee mugs, pizza stones and woks. I even found a cute little mini wisk to stir my coffee. Necessity right? Ha ha The store was very clean and organized. There was a small selection of left over Christmas decor on clearance. I found a nice wok that came with some extra items that will make the perfect gift for someone I know. Some items I felt were quite overpriced, but that's my own option. Service at check out was a little less friendly and I felt like she was bothered having to stop what she was doin mg to help us. She was still polite, but not very friendly. All in all good little shop.

Sur La Table said they would not help and we had to go to the manufacturer. The manufacturer wanted us to pay in full for repair, plus shipped of the knife before they would look at it. This was a premium knife that wasn't cheap and the support from Sur La Table is disappointing. An almost identical knife is available at Costco and I wish I had purchased it from them instead. Too late I guess. I will never do business with Sur La Table again.

We also spilt the turkey and brie sandwich. The sandwich was paired with the most delicious kettle chips as well. For my second visit, I went with the pizza grilled cheese (sans olives) and got a pimento cheese sandwich to go for my mother. We were both beyond pleased with our grub. Of note, right next door to Shea Cheese is Shea Lounge, which is a little bookstore and lounge to enjoy your cheesy items. Their food menu looked soooo yummy, I look forward to coming back for lunch and for another event. Shea Cheese is a small business, owned by a couple who ensured that the experience was awesome. I definitely recommend stopping by and checking out their cookbook collection too. My only critique for the tasting was that they included a pimento cheese, which they make, that has mayo in it. I personally would've preferred they added one of their more unique options instead as neither my mom or I ate that part of the board (mostly due to the mayo).

I like Kohler products and was happy to see there is a showroom in Scottsdale. It is in a funny location like the backside of a strip mall, but navigation got me there no problem. Excellent customer service. Very friendly. Upon entering we were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted any water. They have so much took at from bathrooms to kitchens and even an indoor sauna but apparently this is the higher end of Kohler and the lines that have available here are different from what you might find at Home Depot, Lowes and Costco. There were so many great ideas and I love that they have the entire collections grouped together with the different bathroom fixtures and then little display areas throughout the store. Why is it that I am always gravitating towards the most expensive thing in the store? There were so many cool things like recessed body length medicine cabinets, a very cool customizable vanity, bidets (from standard to Cadillac!!) and then smart showers -- I mean if only!!! I do wish they had some color brochures to take home with you because it is so hard to see online, but I did appreciate that one I had the knowledge about the different collections and finishes I could go back home to the website and make more choices. Another area that was bit annoying is they had items that were discontinued still on display -- so you had to ask if the item was available still --- I guess twice a year they have a sale of these discontinued or floor models but he said it wasn't going to be happening for a while. The sales guy did mention that you get a better cost going directly through the showroom as opposed to ordering off the internet -- so I will be keeping that in mind. Overall I was happy with my experience and likely will be purchasing some French Gold fixtures.

Then Dan came to our house and spent a significant amount of time with us explaining our options, showing us samples of cabinets, and answering all of our questions. We opted for several additional options on top of our initial estimate, but we never felt pressured to add or upgrade anything. We initially had hoped to do refacing to improve the overall aesthetic of our kitchen, but we were so excited to discover some of the additional options that were offered that solved functional problems that had always bothered us! When we reached out to Better Than New, we didn't even realize how much they could do besides just refacing. We replaced all of our old, hard-to-open drawers with beautiful, easy to open, soft-close drawers. We added a pull-out drawer for trash and recycling bins. We replaced sagging shelves in our cabinets. And we replaced the shelves in our deep pantry with drawers, making the space SO much more usable and accessible for our tall family. So not only is the kitchen beautiful, but it's so much more functional. There were zero hidden fees. The work was absolutely immaculate. The team was incredibly professional. And the work was done as scheduled and on time - the entire project only took 2.5 days!! I didn't receive estimates from other companies, so I don't know how the price would have compared. But we feel that the finished product, the quality of the materials used, and the professionalism and skill of the team were worth what we paid. We really couldn't be any happier with Better Than New Kitchens, and we LOVE our new kitchen. I'd highly recommend working with this company!
