We bought a Wolf 48" range. The salesman Randy was very knowledgeable. The installation team did a terrific job. We love our new range. One opportunity for improvement would be for Best Home to have an electrician on tap if it is needed. The Wolf needed a 220v power source and it was tricky to coordinate the electrician we hired with Best Home's installation team. The electrician could not access the wall behind the Wolf because of an existing range. It needed a 2 man crew to remove the old range for the electrician to install the electrical connector. read more

Seldom give 5 star reviews but the folks at Best Home Appliances earned it by being darn easy to work with, very accommodating and prompt. Right from the beginning during my project's quoting phase, I knew they were different from the other appliance stores that I was also talking to because Best Home did not force me to take possession of my appliances after they received them. That was one key reason I went with them for sure. (In fact, my project was pretty severely delayed due to contractor issues and Best Home was hugely accommodating by agreeing to store my appliances until we were ready.). Another reason I went with them was that they were recommended by my cabinet maker, who has worked with their installers a number of times. I interacted with many folks on the Best Home team--from Allan in Sales to Andrew who handles scheduling and product logistics to Steve and his son who do the installing. Horrible customer service and installation. You are better off going to any other custom appliance store. I bought a $1700 Asko dishwasher from these guys. After the guy installed the unit, he left without saying a word. I didn't know if he was even done. They didn't show me that they tested anything, they didn't ask for a signature indicating the work was completed. They left 3 old dish racks on my kitchen counter. I called the store and rep. condescendingly said he would chastise the installer for not finishing the job. He then told me to put the racks in the garbage. I told them they are too large to fit in my trash can and they told me that I should illegally throw them in the dumpster at a grocery store the next time I go. This is the worst service I have ever had with an install. Save yourself the time and frustration and go somewhere else. read more

Our 21 year old GE Profile Range needed a replacement part GE no longer makes. We selected a new range at Best Home Appliances after Allan Schoon showed us what options were available to us. We were contacted by Andrew to select an installation when the range was received by Best Home Appliances. Steve installed the range on the date we selected and did it professionally and efficiently. I appreciated him giving me the time to vacuum up 21 years of dust! Since the counter was built for our old range there were small gaps on the sides and back of the new range. While I appreciate the gesture and decided to up the rating, I'm not interested in "outing" someone's employee, even after the abuse they heaped on my Yelp account following my initial review. I simply wanted to be left alone, and since that seems to have happened, I consider the matter closed. That said, I still can't recommend shopping there based on my personal experience. I purchased a new refrigerator because the price was great and have purchased from Best Home Appliance before. This time The result was bad. Delivery was promptly set up for the next day. To make a long story short, there are a set of stairs to reach the kitchen. No questions were asked setting up delivery and one man arrived before 8am. He clearly stated he could not deliver the unit alone. He would contact the store to explain and await another delivery time. Having heard nothing I contacted the store late that afternoon to learn that neither of the two delivery services could/would be able to deliver the refrigerator. I was even told Spencer's could probably deliver to me so I should check them out. I was offered a full refund. To say the least I was speechless. Is business this good to allow a sale to be reversed because of a set of stairs? I purchased the same refrigerator that evening from Spencer's and it was delivered(easily I might add) and installed as expected. When I received the email with receipt of the refund(which was prompt) there was no message, apology or regret for the purchase being reversed. I don't who owns BHA but can't believe it could be Andrew, the guy who told me they can't deliver the product. How many 2nd floor condos, apartments, houses with stairs are there in The Valley? When our 14 year old GE Profile oven/microwave combination was starting to cost more money than it was worth our GE repairman recommended we look at a replacement at Best Home Appliances. We went into Best Home Appliances as we were doing some kitchen upgrades and. We're looking for a range and microwave. Randy was with another customer but came over and said he would be with us as soon was he was finished which only took a few minutes. He was great in helping us out showing us several ideas about what might work for us and the ;pros and cons of each. The only caveat was we did this about two years ago when everyone was having issues with getting parts and shipping. Bought a very expensive range at this place and it's broken. The issue is that they don't keep records longer than 2 years. I guess they don't expect their Appliamce to last very long. I'm in need of the serial number and unfortunately Best Home Appliamce is unable to give this information to me. I have bought appliances from Spencer's 11 years ago and was able to retrieve this information when I need to replace my water softener. Guess I chose the wrong appliance dealer. read more

So here's the deal- you can buy appliances anywhere now, from Walmart to Best Buy to Amazon to local chains like Spencer's. They're all selling the same stuff for the same prices within a couple hundred dollars. So when you spend over $11,000 in new appliances for a kitchen remodel, at what you perceive to be an independently owned/operated appliance store--you at least expect your choice in retailer to have some modicum of friendliness and customer service. (Especially when our designer sent us there and will also be hearing about the poor experience thus far.) I understand we're still in a pandemic and supply chains are a complete mess. So this review has nothing to do with the fact that most of our appliances are still backordered. It has everything to do with the fact that any time I contact this company to check on status or to arrange pick up of what HAS already arrived, I'm treated like I'm inconveniencing them. (To be clear it has been twice since our purchase end of August and the reason I have to call them is because they certainly do not let me know when any of my order has arrived.) In today's social media and review based society it seems like business suicide to treat well paying customers who are being polite, patient, and understanding with with disdain and blatant undertone of being 'inconvenienced' and would rather be doing anything else than helping a client (who just spent over $10 K in their store figure what had arrived and what is still back ordered.) Unfortunately now in addition to replacing our entire kitchen appliance set, we also need to replace our washer and dryer. However I will certainly NOT be buying these appliances here, due simply to the poor attitude and customer service I have received thus far. I have had terrific customer service and have always had easy installations.
