Thought I would put a new review out here since they have changed names/ ownership and locations! Still in the same shopping strip mall just a little further down in a very clean, pretty, organized shop. It's called u me nail & spa now, but still super friendly and professional staff working there. I absolutely love this place and always bring my parents with me when they are in town for pedicures. It's only about once a year, but been for the last 4 years and they remember us! Highly recommend this place. I get gel and I am always super happy with how long it's last, no chips! read more

Horrible service. I went in and just wanted my gel nail polish removed and regular nail polish to replace it due to restrictions at my job. They first of all were so rude about even me switching. I had to tell the lady doing my nails several times to fix the shape cause they were all uneven. Then at the end I hear them up charge me if anything it should be 25 for a manicure (still over priced considering they didn't do anything besides paint the nail) then maybe 5 dollars for take off from the shellac. I literally heard them talking about up-charging me and then charged me 35 for a basic nail manicure when most places charge 18 or 23 with shellac take off. It was crazy not to mention the salon looks sooooo bad the chairs are filthy and peeling apart, the entire place is unorganized and gross to walk into. Needless to say I will never go back nor will I let anyone I know go here. read more

I needed pedicure and they were absolutely amazing. I called ahead to ask about two pedicures, and he said come right in! They were closing in 30 minutes and were so sweet to stay open for us. Very nice folks and they did a wonderful job on our feet. I got gel on my toes and again, they did a wonderful job. Chairs are super comfy too! I NEVER LEAVE BAD REVIEWS: Filed 3 nails so shortly on only one side of the nail (so they were very uneven) to the point they bled. The dip manicure turned out dented in 8 out of my 10 nails. One nail she wiped the top coat off with acetone while trying to clean up where she got excess powder on my fingers. Will look very raised and thick when they grow out even a little bit. Not the worst part... When I confronted management, I had to basically beg for my money back because I was sooo unhappy. I ended up getting a $15 gift card. I called later because I was still so unbelievably unhappy with them: she told me to come back and she would give me my money back. I took time out of my day to drive across town for her to tell me to sit down and have them touched up/redone- I said I have to let them grow back now since they're so messed up and unevenly filed and I didn't have the time. She would not give my money back unless I sat back down. Will definitely not be back. read more

The people at Omaha Nails & Spa are pretty awesome! The first time that I came I brought my husband for his very first pedicure! I was a little afraid that he might feel the pain that comes a lot of times with a pedicure and not want to come back. However, the lady that did his pedicure was fantastic and made him feel at home. He said that he would definitely come back another time! Two out of the three times I have come have been absolutely fantastic. The second time, I got acrylic nails for the first time in about 12 years.The gentleman that did my nails kept turning my fingers at an awkward angle to where it hurt a little bit. However, anybody that goes and gets a manicure and pedicure knows that there's a little pain that goes with it and it subsides later. Yesterday I went in and had the best experience I've had so far. The workers were very friendly and chitchatted me up. At no point did I feel like I was pushed to the side or ignored. This is definitely going to be my nail place from now on! I definitely recommend giving it a try and if you have a better way of expressing yourself than me, letting them know if something hurts. Happy pampering yelpers! read more

Andy did a great job with the ultimate spa pedicure! The massage portion of the pedicure was the best part and he definitely didn't skimp on callus removal either. My feet hadn't been to a salon in over a year and he made do with what he was given. He was careful around areas that I had bruises and made sure to not put pressure on them which was much appreciated! They have massage chairs, offer you a beverage, have privacy curtains in between each pedicure station, and 3 tvs throughout the salon. They also play super relaxing music in the background (hint: if you go during the week you might get the whole salon to yourself). Although the pedicure was amazing , the polish job felt rushed and a bit sloppy. I think he just didn't wait long enough between each coat to put on the next one because I waited and hour after even leaving the salon to touch the polish and check if it was dry and it smudged immediately. I will be going back to have them fix the ones that got smudged from waiting well over an hour for dry time. If it weren't for the lazy job on the mail polish, this place would get a 5 stars from me. But overall I felt super relaxed and pampered! read more

I don't live in Omaha anymore but am visiting for the holidays. This was my first time at Omaha Nails & Spa, and it was not great but not terrible. Right away it seemed like I was not that important because I was getting regular polish and not gel. I asked for help picking out a good color for Christmas, and my nail technician's response was "I don't know what color you want". I also asked about a design, and she wanted me to tell her a specific design. I showed her a picture but she still seemed to not want to do it, so I asked her if they have any options I could choose from, or a specific Christmas design that they like to do. She again said "I don't know what kind of design you want". So I decided to forget the design, as it obviously was not going to get any better or easier. She did a fine job on my nails, didn't cut my cuticles or anything, but I felt like she was rushed and didn't really care. They were not super busy, so it just seemed like she wanted to rush through because I wasn't paying for a higher service? My nails were fine, could have been better but also could have been worse. After drying my nails for a few minutes I asked to pay, and I also asked if I could use some of the quick drying spray. No matter how dry my nails feel, I always seem to smudge at least one right away. She looked at my nails and said "you don't need it." At that point I just paid and left. The service was fine, not stellar, but the customer service was really lacking. Maybe with a different technician it would be a better experience. read more

Got there on time, two lady's were waiting, welcomed me in. Got seated right away. Added a pedicure while I was getting a new set. Very clean nail salon, lots of choices for pedicures to choose from, nail colors, etc. Reasonable pricing for both full set and a pedicure. Did a good job on both, pedicure lasted a month and half, I get gel pedicures, and the full set didn't need a fill for 4 weeks. Would definitely go back when visiting Omaha. read more

I ALMOST had a 4 or star experience here. And to be honest, I didn't have any set expectations whatsoever. So overall a somewhat neutral experience. I'm new to the area, just moved here from Houston, Tx. And I bookmarked a laundry list of places to try. This one was one of the very few that had an overall high star rating. And by the looks of the pictures, it just looked like your typical run of the mill salon. Well everything was going fine and dandy, the woman who was doing my pedicure was SO NICE!!! I thought we were off to a great start. Then the other woman comes over to do my nails and at first she's doing just an average job. Nothing special and nothing horrible. But as she's starting to take off my previous old overlay, she's actually kinda hurting me. So I inform her. She doesn't really get phased by what I told her, but I have a high tolerance when it comes to pain and getting my nails done so I let it slide. But the whole time she's trying to get my nails off she seems like she's in SUCH a rush. Mind you I'm now the only customer in this salon. And enough time had passed without anyone else coming in, that you would think they'd treat me relatively awesome. But again, I had no expectations because I didn't want to possibly set myself up for disappointment. So the whole process continues on, and like I mentioned it's all pretty average. Nothing substantial except the woman who did my pedicure (I'm now kicking myself for not getting her name to give her the praises she deserves!) anyways as we near the end of my gel manicure, pedicure it doesn't feel completely dry. But I roll with it, and since it's gel it won't completely smudge off. After she finishes my manicure I inform her that I'm going to the drying station to make sure my toes are completely dry, because when I touched them lightly they didn't feel quite as dry as I would've liked considering I was wearing socks and tennis shoes since it was chilly and drizzly outside. I sat down for a total of 2 minutes (if even) before the guy that was there insisted that my toes were dry and I didn't need to sit down to dry. He promptly took off the pedicure sandals and the toe wedges and sprayed the drying stuff on my toes. Now by this time two other people had come in, but they were NO WHERE NEAR being finished to need the drying station. I felt super uncomfortable and awkward being rushed out of a place that WASN'T busy by any means, especially after I was so kind and considerate and even making small talk with everyone in the friendliest manner- IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. The weather was super icky out so I imagine the foot traffic was going to be naturally a little slower paced. And even if they were expecting 5 more appointments at that time, it shouldn't have affected my choice to want to make sure my toes are COMPLETELY dry. So I paid and went along my merry way. I can now add this salon to my list of places I won't return to. But other than the end I had a decent time and they did a somewhat decent job my both my toes and nails! Would recommend this place is you're in a hurry, but not on your day off wanting to pamper yourself. read more

Welcoming and friendly staff. However, this nail salon was incapable of executing the nail designs I requested. None of the nail techs were able to do it. I had 2 desired designs, one requiring a foil design (which they didn't have) and the alternative design included a metallic gold line tip and glitter (which they also didn't have). I didn't get my nails done so I'm not sure how well they do nails. My rating is solely based on their inability and very limited design expertise/options. I called before I went it to get them fixed and got there and she said she didn't want to do them because they closed in an hour and if I didn't leave she was going to call the cops. I asked if I would get a refund and or get them fixed the next day and she once again stated she was going to call the cops so I left and I will never ever go back. Was looking for a new nail place. Did not feel the last place I went was clean & up to state board standards. So it was great to see a nice clean bright place. I went in with out a appointment, was taken right away and sat at a clean nail station. I wear pink & white's. It was a Tuesday in the afternoon, I was the only one in there with 4 employees working. I was lucky to have Kelli do my nails. She did a fantastic job. The tools were clean, her station was clean and she was very organized. I have had nails for over 12 years, Kelli was the first to give me a nice hand massage when she had completed my nail service and I had washed my hands. It was a nice surprise. I came in early on a Saturday and it was already picking up-I had to wait a little bit but I did not mind the wait especially since the quality of work they did on my nails was great. Will be back for sure and am looking forward to seeing how the other services will be Update: I went back to get a fill on a slow day (I was the only person in) and thought the tech would take her time, etc. My nails were extremely thick for my liking and the painting job was horrible and uneven!
